Investigating integration techniques for heterogeneous Knowledge Graphs (KGs) is crucial for constructing large-scale KGs that enhance knowledge coverage. A core task within this domain is Entity Alignment (EA), which seeks to identify entities with equivalent meanings across different KGs. In recent years, the number of EA methods has proliferated. However, most existing investigations primarily focus on model technology classification, benchmark evaluations, experimental datasets, and industry assessments. There remains a paucity of research addressing a unified framework for EA methods. Consequently, this paper presents a systematic and comprehensive study of current EA methodologies. We propose two generic frameworks that clarify the connections and distinctions between supervised and unsupervised EA approaches. Furthermore, we analyze the key technologies associated with each module in these frameworks and evaluate the principal contributions of various mainstream EA methods. Finally, we conduct extensive experiments utilizing the cross-lingual dataset DBP15K, to analyze and summarize the experimental results from 24 classical and advanced EA methods. © 2024 Copyright held by the owner/author(s).

Thermal images are crucial for object detection in surveillance, security, industrial automation, and vehicular navigation due to their ability to capture heat signatures. However, complexities like low contrast, fluctuating thermal patterns, and lack of thermal-specific datasets necessitate the use of specialized algorithms for precise object identification and location. This research paper delves into the domain of object detection within thermal images, a crucial aspect of applications like surveillance and autonomous systems. Leveraging the YOLOv8 algorithm renowned for real-time and accurate object detection, this study focuses on enhancing detection performance in the challenging realm of thermal imagery. The methodology involves training on a meticulously curated dataset of 1898 thermal images, comprising 1518 for training and 380 for validation. The algorithm’s efficacy is demonstrated through a mean average precision (mAP50) of (82%) and map50–90 of (59.3%). These results validate YOLOv8 suitability for thermal imaging applications, propelling advancements in fields reliant on accurate object detection in thermally challenging conditions. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2025.

Building a hierarchical conceptual structure for smart health care, identifying the effects of distributed ledger technology on clever medical treatment, and then developing a system of applications for smart health care via blockchain that utilizes the theory of involvement of stakeholders are the goals of the research. However, besides the essential characteristics and the connections between different features and characteristics, such a hierarchy conceptual framework should also consider the involvement of several stakeholders. The study offers decision-making including analytical lab (DEMATEL) to control the intricate relationships between various features and attributes. Finally, a hierarchical conceptual framework is created by splitting the hierarchy employing Interpretive Structural Modeling (ISM). The results show that the top-level organization, medical records leadership, and general doctor management are among the system's core reasons. A specific application of blockchain in the field of healthcare automation requires a decentralized agreement that depends on how health information is handled within system constraints. The secret to updating a system is application optimization. Environmental control, health insurance, and internal and external regulation all contribute to the system's development and the successful protection of stakeholder interests. The Open Charge Point Protocol is a widely adopted communication standard that facilitates interoperability between Charge Points and Central Systems in the electric vehicle charging ecosystem. This paper explores the security implications of OCPP 1.6, with a particular focus on the risks posed by spoofed or unauthorized messages. We propose a rollback mechanism utilizing the DataTransfer PDU to mitigate these risks, allowing the Central System to trigger reversion of unauthorized changes at the CP level. The proposed solution ensures secure, efficient management of configurations and mitigates potential threats such as replay attacks, spoofed requests, and unauthorized modifications. This paper contributes to the growing body of knowledge on securing EV charging infrastructure by highlighting underexplored vulnerabilities in OCPP 1.6 and providing practical solutions to enhance the security and resilience of the protocol. With the rapid coal-fired power generation technology, to cope with the intermittency and volatility of new energy sources, the flexibility and economy of the boiler-turbine unit has been an important task for modern power plants. To this end, this paper proposes a real-time generation load control strategy based on multivariate model predictive control for the subcritical coal-fired generating units in response to the wide range of variable load tracking needs and the urgency of dynamic energy efficiency improvement in the operation process, firstly, establishing the LSTM multivariate time-series prediction model, and then recognizing the set of state-space equations of different load segments with the least-squares method, and finally, designing the multivariate model predictive controller to ensure the real-time fast tracking of load while optimizing its economic performance index.A 600 MW subcritical unit is used as the study object and the simulation results illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed control strategy. © 2024 Copyright held by the owner/author(s).

Digital transformation is the process of transforming the traditional practice-based fishery management system into that based on science and calculation. Among them, the use of data and algorithms to analyze and predict the data is the most influential technology. This paper first studies the necessity of the digital transformation of the high sea fishery governance, and analyzes the application of computational science in the high sea fishery governance by analyzing the challenges faced by computational science in the high sea fishery governance. On this basis, this paper proposes that the international community should accelerate the deep integration of computing science and fishery governance in the high seas, and take data as an important engine to promote the collection and analysis of global Marine environment information, so as to realize the sustainable utilization of fishery resources in the high seas. © 2024 Copyright held by the owner/author(s).

automation in manufacturing systems is rapidly changing, shifting from rigid solutions towards the use of smart technologies that better support manufacturers in meeting market demand. The implementation of these new technologies augments the complexity of managing manufacturing systems, thus necessitating the achievement of harmony between automation and human factors. Several studies have tried to summarize the latest achievements by proposing systematic reviews in the automation domain to define the state-of-the-art. However, a quantitative examination of literature metrics using statistical tools, i.e. a bibliometric analysis, is still missing in this domain, although it can complement extant studies by augmenting knowledge regarding potential future trends and research directions. Based on this, this study proposes a bibliometric analysis to analytically document the volume, intellectual structure, and knowledge development directions in the field of adaptive and adaptable automation in the manufacturing context. As a whole, 68 journal articles published in the period 2000-2023 were selected and analyzed. © 2025 The Authors.

A picker control device based on a truss manipulator integrates the information of various sensors such as force sense, temperature sense, vision and distance, and timely feedback information to realize the flexible picking of pepper fruit ears by the executive parts. The hardware device consists of a computer vision control system, an industrial control system, a robotic arm and an end actuator. Coordinate various parts of the image, identification module, LiDAR, induction switch, temperature and humidity module, wireless communication module, truss structure and end grabbers, etc., to realize the identification and positioning of the detected object, the acquisition and reporting of the working environment and operating state of the equipment, the accurate control of the structure, and the multi-axis linkage control functions. In the era of rapid development of the digital economy, the implementation of AI transformation is regarded as a key means of enhancing corporate competitiveness. As a major driver of technological innovation, whether venture capital (VC) can facilitate the AI transformation of companies remains underexplored. This study analyzes a sample of non-financial A-share listed companies in China. The results show: (1) VC promotes AI transformation in companies;(2) Mechanism tests demonstrate that VC supports AI transformation by improving the company's financing structure and reducing short-term decision-making by management. (3) Heterogeneity tests show that the impact of VC in driving AI transformation is more significant in companies operating in high-tech industries and those with similar business models. (4) Economic consequence tests indicate that VC-driven AI transformation reduces performance volatility and enhances total factor productivity. The conclusions of this study offer corporate managers and policymakers a more detailed understanding of VC's role in promoting AI transformation in companies, providing both theoretical foundations and practical guidance for developing AI-supportive policies. © 2024 Copyright held by the owner/author(s). After the domestic new crown pneumonia (COVID-19) epidemic has stabilized, the imported people and goods carrying the virus may lead to a slight rebound in the domestic epidemic. Using this model, the second epidemic situation in a city was simulated. The impact of the epidemic’s spatial spread and quantitative growth was analyzed using the closure and control measures at different spatial scales (community closure and control, district and county closure and control). The study results show that the first 3 to 5 days after the appearance of an infected person is the best time for containment and control. The effects of the two modes are similar, so they are suitable for dealing with the single-point burst mode. Combined with the analysis results, suggestions are made for formulating closure and control measures after the epidemic rebounds. © 2025 The Author(s).
