In the field of medical imaging, accurately classifying Alzheimer's Disease (AD) poses a substantial challenge, primarily due to the inherent variability in imaging data across different clinical sites. This paper introduces a novel approach, Domain Contrastive Learning (DCL), to address this challenge by enhancing the robustness and transferability of AD classification models using multi-site Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) data. DCL leverages a unique contrastive learning technique within an autoencoder's latent space, enabling the extraction of domain-invariant features essential for accurate diagnosis. We rigorously evaluate the proposed network on brain images from three distinct imaging sites, employing a Domain Generalization (DG) training protocol to ensure robustness and generalizability across varying data sources. Our model is evaluated on three binary classification tasks: AD vs. Normal Control (NC), AD vs. Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI), and MCI vs. NC. Results demonstrate that DCL outperforms existing methods, especially in AD vs. NC classification, achieving higher accuracy, sensitivity, and specificity with 0.51%, 1.54% and 1.68% increments respectively. This underscores DCL's potential as a robust and generalizable method for enhanced AD diagnosis, marking a significant step forward in medical imaging challenges in a multi-site context. © 2023 IEEE.

In this paper, the rectangular descriptor systems with randomly occurring measurement delays are discussed and the related fusion filtering problem is considered, where the randomly occurring measurement delays are modeled by Bernoulli random variables. Firstly, matrix transformation, singular value decomposition method and augmentation technique are applied in turn to transform the original rectangular descriptor systems into a set of non-descriptor subsystems. Secondly, the local filter gains that minimize the filtering error covariances are given and the fusion filtering scheme for the original descriptor systems is given by applying the model transformation and covariance intersection (CI) fusion technique. Finally, a numerical simulation is used to show the effectiveness of the proposed fusion filtering criterion. © 2023 IEEE.

Machine learning (ML) has permeated various fields and profoundly transformed human life. Leveraging the substantial volumes of data generated daily by numerous end-users has the potential to train machine learning models, thereby providing enhanced services and improving the quality of life. However, data privacy concerns and high data communication costs pose limitations to the development of machine learning. In light of these issues, Federated Learning (FL) has been proposed, effectively safeguarding user privacy across a federation of distributed devices to collaboratively train a shared global model. Nevertheless, FL still faces drawbacks such as single points of failure, malicious attacks, trust issues, and the absence of incentive mechanisms. Blockchain, as a ledger technology, presents an appealing solution for the implementation of decentralized FL Without requiring a central server. In this paper, we outline its fundamental concepts and delve into how the Blockchain Federated Learning (BFL) system operates. We then analyze BFL's specific features from a mechanism design perspective, elucidating the challenges present in the BFL system, including incentive mechanisms, verification mechanisms and communication costs. We also discuss lessons learned and prospects for future development. Finally, this paper underscores important research challenges and prospective directions. © 2023 IEEE.

Deep-learning (DL) applications that are used real-time across various industries have gained a lot of traction and have become increasingly popular, especially when it comes to data-driven recommendation systems. This work aims to develop a DL scheme to support the music-recommendation system (MS) based on the music data. The various phases of this scheme includes;(i) data collection and signal-image conversion to get the necessary RGB scale images from the data, (ii) pre-trained DL based feature extraction, and (iii) deep-features based detection to recommend the appropriate music. This research considered the classic- (CL) and pop-music (PO) for the examination and the achieved results are evaluated to substantiate the performance of this arrangement. In this work, the signal-image conversion procedure is implemented to convert 1D signal to 2D image and then it is examined using proposed technique. The experimental outcome is separately presented for (i) spectrogram and (ii) synchro-extracting-transform and obtained results are presented. The experimental investigation is presented with MobileNet variants and this study authorizes that the implemented scheme achieved a better detection MobileNetV2 (>99%) compared to other schemes in this study. © 2023 IEEE.

This article explores the optimization of urban traffic flow control. On the basis of data preprocessing, the K-Means clustering analysis algorithm was used to divide a day into several time periods and estimate the traffic flow at the intersections of Jingzhong Road and Weizhong Road. The use of non dominated sorting genetic algorithm for signal light optimization significantly improved the average speed of vehicles. A random forest model for identifying parade vehicles was established using vehicle characteristics such as threshold setting and turnover rate. A classifier was used to train and classify the vehicles, and the parade vehicles for each day of the May Day Golden Week were calculated. Finally, the effectiveness of the control measures was evaluated based on indicators such as the average speed, delay time, and queue length of vehicles. © 2024 IEEE.

An automation equipment based on the self-correction of keys is developed in this study, and the research gap related to mutual access equipment is filled. Aliquots of lock cores are chosen for adequate station number acquisitions. Based on the transmission characteristics of key positioning, the automation equipment for calculation of mutual access rate (Ma) is designed. Real-time data of human-computer interaction are generated by a programmable logic controller and returned to an 8-inch screen. The controller is applicable to multi-axis, interpolation motions, and an encoder signal generator. In addition, the key positioning function is started automatically to return the key to the original site, where the maximum torque (1.5 N m) prevents the key from deforming. Regarding screw pair applications, the main parameters of the load performance (e.g., dynamic and static loads) are determined to be adaptable to outside diameter specifications. When the thickness of the rotary platform reaches 26 mm, the deformation is negligible. The Ma of different keys at sizes of 70-95 mm and the motor control system demonstrated that the operation results of the automatic method are consistent with those of the manual method. © 2023 ACM.

The IoT is concerned in every part of the human beings such as medical care, education, smart cities, home automation, and many business fields. While the IoT gives a myriad of benefits, security remains the biggest issues for using of many IoT applications in various environments. The emergence of new technologies in various fields also pose challenges in the field of forensic researches. It is said that Device Level forensics, Network Level forensics, and Cloud Level forensics are the three types of IoT forensics levels. Among them, Network Level forensics shows all kinds of communication networks that connected to IoT devices over the Internet. In this study, detecting and analyzing TCP-SYN flooding attacks and UDP flooding attacks based on Transport Layer (one type of DoS attacks), network forensics investigation over the traffics are presented. Capturing TCP-SYN flooding attacks and UDP flooding attacks and analyzing them with IO graphs by using Wireshark Network Analysis Tool is also described in this paper. © 2023 IEEE.

Fog which present in the atmosphere due to temperature variance reduces the clear vision of driver or driving applications. Restricted visibility due to fog will affect the accuracy of visualization and it may leads to accident. To overcome this, defogging need to be done in a moving vehicle. We propose a cost-effective fog detection system which can be used in real world. The input images are taken from the camera which is mounted on the dashboard of the car. Density of the fog and visibility distance is calculated using region of interest techniques to provide clear visibility to the driver. In this system, machine learning Algorithm SVM is used to classify the fog and fog-free images. NI Vision Development Software is used for machine vision application for graphical view. © 2023 IEEE.
