The current vehicle detection models are inadequate for deployment on edge computing devices due to limited computing capabilities. Therefore, this paper proposes a novel lightweight vehicle detection method called MA-YOLO (MobileNet Attention YOLO). In order to reduce the number of parameters and computational requirements, the depthwise separable convolution and inverse residual structure is used to instead of conventional convolution. Additionally, the SELayer and CALayer module of attention mechanism is embedded into Backbone module, to improve the correlation of inter-channel and inter-space features, respectively. The experimental results demonstrate that the MA-YOLO has achieved a mean average precision (mAP) of 90.7% for vehicle detection under normal weather conditions. In comparison to YOLOv8s, MA-YOLO has compressed the number of parameters by 40.5% and computation by 52.4%, while experiencing only a decrease of 0.1% in mAP. © 2023 IEEE.

This research proposes an approach to enhance the denoising and upscaling performance of noisy images using Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs), particularly Style GAN architecture. Denoising and upscaling noisy images are crucial in many computer vision applications, and GANs have shown remarkable effectiveness in creating high-quality images. However, training Style GAN requires huge amount of data and is computationally expensive. To address this issue, this study proposes using various filters such as mean, median, and weighted median to pre-process the noisy images before feeding them to Style GAN. The proposed approach achieves superior denoising and up scaling compared with other system in terms of FID and inception score, and further exploration of hyperparameters and variations of the Style GAN architecture can lead to even better results. © 2023 IEEE.

In certain visual detection tasks that focus on circular objects, especially for those with less distinctive features, the rotation of the circular object in the image often leads to significant errors in the detection results or even task failure. To adaptively locate the stable rotation normalization position of circular object images, this paper designs a circular object image rotation normalization system based on the Adaptive Circle Projection (ACP) algorithm, which can adaptively detect and rotate any circular object image to this position regardless of the rotation angle. Experimental results on multiple types of different objects show that the system can adaptively detect stable rotation normalization positions for 10 circular objects with any rotation angle. This paper also designs an image operation interface for the system to demonstrate its portability. © 2023 IEEE.

Various and accurate data processing and analysis have been made possible by computers for many years. In order to examine societal behavior by finding patterns in data, humanities and social science researchers are increasingly using computer technologies like artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML). Specifically, speculative sentences or clauses are frequently used in news item headlines and abstracts to draw in unwary readers. The dominance of men in the news is highly apparent, and Females are not adequately represented and underexamined in the same news categories as their male coworkers because they are seen as 'eye candy' or 'inferior' and are thus thought to be so. In this work, gender bias in online news items from two important English news datasets that were used for news classification and recommendation is explored. Additionally, the research discusses views of gender bias in news generated by AI. Through the use of a questionnaire with five different themes, information has been collected from 490 respondents. The data was analysed using support vector machines (SVM), decision trees (DT), random forests (RF), and artificial neural networks (ANN). The experimental results show that the performance of the AI algorithms is influenced by the theme-dependent prediction of gender perceptions in news stories. According to the experiment's findings, ANN consistently shows the most efficacy, with an accuracy level of 88%. This is followed by RF and SVM, which have accuracy levels of 85% and 81%, respectively. This work makes a substantial contribution to the subject by using AI to model behavior among people in civilization. © 2023 IEEE.

Magnetorheological dampers are intelligent shock absorbers that utilize the magneto rheological effect to achieve adaptable damping, which can effectively enhance vehicle riding comfort and handling stability. An initial introduction to magnetorheological fluids and the magnetorheological effect is provided in this paper, followed by an in-depth exploration of the operational principles and structural characteristics of magnetorheological dampers. The control methods for magnetorheological semi-active suspensions, including skyhook control, groundhook control, hybrid skyhook-groundhook control, PID control, fuzzy control, sliding mode control, and neural network control, are then analyzed. Furthermore, the challenges of applying magneto rheological semi-active suspension technology are identified and summarized, while prospective directions for future development and research focus are outlined. © 2023 IEEE.

In order to solve the shortcomings of the existing intelligent agricultural system and promote the rapid development of agricultural modernization, the project is based on the existing intelligent agricultural system. With the help of sensors, controllers, smart cameras, smart cameras and other Internet of Things equipment, the project collects various growth indicators of crops themselves and their growth environment, and comprehensively monitors the meteorological, soil and other environmental change trends, crop growth, and the operation status of agricultural facilities at the agricultural production site. The software system developed by the supporting project team analyzes the collected information and compares it with the preset data to obtain the current growth status of crops. The real-time transmission and real-time sharing of agricultural production information are realized. In addition, the system can also analyze the data in a certain period of time, predict and control the future growth status and possible pests and diseases, and realize the scientific and refined planting of crops. After the implementation of the project, it will effectively solve a series of problems such as the shortage of human resources in the process of large-scale planting and the low yield caused by the untimely monitoring of crop growth. While reducing human input, it has realized the increase of crop income, greatly reduced the planting cost of farmers, improved the economic, social and ecological benefits of facility agriculture, and has good development prospects. © 2023 IEEE.

At present, there are errors in the shooting accuracy of drones, which cannot meet the requirements of real and high resolution. Based on this research background, the article proposes a registration method of sequence images and ground laser point clouds based on artificial intelligence computer technology. The article first corrects the distortion of the UAV image in the local area to eliminate the error of the image point, so as to obtain the distortion parameters. Secondly, perform relative orientation and spatial interpolation on the image to build a dense point cloud of the image. The study found that the algorithm improves the production efficiency and automation of 3D laser point cloud and digital image registration. © 2023 IEEE.

As an important part of the information age, network security has been concerned. Industrial control system is an indispensable part of modern production process, but it is also facing the threat from cyber-attacks. Intrusion detection system is an indispensable part of the industrial control system security defense system. It detects the attack data by monitoring the real-time status of network traffic. This paper offers an intrusion detection approach based on parallel CNN-LSTM with self-attention mechanism in accordance with the features of industrial control system network traffic, using the UNSW-NB15 dataset as the research object. After experimental analysis, the accuracy, recall and F1 value are 98.66%, 95.88% and 95.91% and The FPR and FAR are 2.28% and 2.23%. Compared with other intrusion detection models, the proposed method has better performance. © 2023 IEEE.

Face micro-expression recognition is a popular research area combining machine vision and image recognition, and is an important branch of face recognition technology, the core of which is feature extraction and classification recognition. In this paper, the feature extraction and dimensionality reduction of micro-expressions are performed by combining Gabor wavelet transform and principal component analysis methods, and then an online sequence limit learning machine classifier is first trained and then tested to complete the classification and recognition of micro-expressions. This paper further validates the feasibility of the method by using the publicly available JAFFE expression dataset for micro-expression recognition experiments in Matlab to obtain the recognition accuracy. © 2023 IEEE.

In the digital era, Robotic Process automation (RPA) has become an important technology in the field of information technology. The purpose of this article is to apply RPA technology to the digital labor time management system of enterprises to improve management efficiency and accuracy. This article mainly used data comparison and mathematical model analysis methods to draw conclusions and provide specific solutions. The experimental results showed that the minimum time reduction rate for robot process automation was 19.5%. The RPA solution for digital labor time management system has the characteristics of sustainable development, convenient management, and strong systematicity, which has great promotion and application value. © 2023 The Authors.
