Dementia and other disorders often necessitate round-the-clock medical attention and supervision, which are frequently easier to provide in a clinical setting than at home. Also, elderly people frequently fail to take their medications at the prescribed times, resulting in a variety of health issues. On the other hand, an increase in smart systems creates opportunities for using medical therapy at a whole new level. This research study focuses on developing a smart and intelligent medication box for patients, who take medications on a regular basis and whose prescriptions are lengthy and difficult to remember. Based on these observations, a smart medicine box that addresses the challenges by adjusting the time of prescribed medications at various intervals has been designed by using push buttons. The current time will be tracked by the RTC module, and the notification time will be saved in the box's memory. As a result, when a medication is taken, the system generates a notice sound. The developed smart medicine reminder box is further enhanced by using the Arduino as a controller, and ThingSpeak is also interfaced to provide real-time tracking scenarios of a patient even in a remote location. With the proposed model, the patient will be aware of the exact number of boxes from which the medications should be consumed. The proposed system has already preloaded all pill boxes that the patient must take at a certain time. © 2023 IEEE.

The advent of the Internet of Things (IoT) has ushered in the concept of smart cities - urban environments where everything from traffic lights to waste management is interconnected and digitally managed. While this transformation offers unparalleled efficiency and innovation, it opens the door to myriad cyber-attacks. Threats range from data breaches to infrastructure disruptions, with one subtle yet potent risk emerging: fake clients. These seemingly benign entities have the potential to carry out a multitude of cyber attacks, leveraging their deceptive appearance to infiltrate and compromise systems. This research presents a novel simulation model for a smart city based on the Internet of Things using the Netsim program. This city consists of several sectors, each of which consists of several clients that connect to produce the best performance, comfort and energy savings for this city. Fake clients are added to this simulation, who are they disguise themselves as benign clients while, in reality, they are exploiting this trust to carry out cyber attacks on these cities, then after preparing the simulation perfectly, the data flow of this system is captured and stored in a CSV file and classified into fake and normal, then this data set is subjected to several experiments using the Machine Learning using the MATLAB program. Each of them shows good results, based on the detection results shown by Model Machine Learning. The highest detection accuracy was in the third experiment using the k-nearest neighbors classifier and was 98.77%. Concluding, the research unveils a robust prevention model. © 2023 IEEE.

The increasing use of information and communication technologies has led to increasing threats on critical infrastructure like smart grids. Owing to confidentiality issues and difficulties in experimenting cyberattacks on a real environment, testbeds reflecting the characteristics of smart grids have been developed to enable attack experiments and cybersecurity research. In fact, different implementations of smart grid testbeds exist, each with its own challenges and limitations. The comparative study we present here justifies the usability of each type of testbed for different experiments. We begin our study with a selection of state-of-the-art smart grid testbeds, which can be classified into physical, hybrid, and virtual. We then present an evaluation based upon several qualitative metrics and MITRE ATT&CK matrix to demonstrate the coverage of all tactics and techniques to guide about the selection of testbed according to security needs. Finally, we explain applicable tactics and techniques for one of the testbeds through an attack case study to highlight current cybersecurity challenges faced by smart grids. © 2023 IEEE.

smart Healthcare systems (SHS) are gradually replacing traditional healthcare systems that involve human intervention. This is due to the advancement of IOT devices and also the introduction of edge computing. SHS provides security, flexibility, and efficiency. A key feature of SHS is to transport images from one place to another in real-time. Due to technological advancements, these images can tamper which is image forgery, this threats security in SHS. To tackle this problem, Image Forgery Detection using Support Vector Machines (SVM) and Extreme Learning Machines (ELM) is proposed in this model. We combine the scores of both SVM and ELM using Bayesian Sum Rule (BSR). The model is utilized to verify if the forgery is done or not. This model can be inbuilt into the SHS. Forgery Detection enhances security and reduces the threat of systems being failed, as images play a key role in the treatment procedure. © 2023 IEEE.

This paper presents a novel approach to designing a smart grid testbed, that advances the state of knowledge on power system resilience analysis by including the social aspects of the community in simulation. The proposed Community-based Power Simulation virtual testbed, termed ComPSim herein, integrates non-physical dimensions of the community into the smart grid infrastructure system. The ComPSim test bed can be applied to identify the social impacts of power system disruptions. The testbed takes into account diverse socioeconomic characteristics of the community, enabling targeted analysis and policy formulation. This research highlights the need for integrating community's social and economic facet into future infrastructure planning and decision efforts. © 2023 IEEE.

This study presents the development and evaluation of a smart wearable belt designed for comprehensive health monitoring and fall detection. Blockchain technology offers unique advantages in terms of decentralization, transparency, and de-anonymization. However, it also poses challenges to user anonymity and data privacy protection. Consequently, researchers have employed advanced cryptographic primitives to enhance the privacy and anonymity of blockchain-based privacy payments, as well as to extend privacy payment methods to more general forms of privacy computing. Nevertheless, relying on high-level cryptographic primitives and emerging technologies, these solutions have proven challenging for academic and industrial personnel to understand and apply. Therefore, we introduce the principle mechanisms of zero-knowledge proofs and homomorphic encryption and their typical algorithms, analyze and summarize recent research in blockchain privacy computing across several dimensions, and briefly present their potential applications. © 2023 IEEE.

Due to its open and dispersed nature, cloud computing (CC) faces several security-related difficulties. As a result, it is weak and open to breaches that compromise the security, reliability, and integrity of cloud resources and provided services. The most widely utilized element of computer system security and compliance procedures that protects cloud environments from numerous threats and attacks is the intrusion detection system (IDS). The goal of this article is to study how deep learning (DL) and machine learning (ML) networks are used by various methodologies at various stages of the intrusion detection process to get improved outcomes. The goal of this work is to discuss the state of the art for detectingintrusions usingavariety of techniques, including soft computing, data mining, and other approaches. The experimental findings demonstrate that unsupervised, deep learning-based techniques achieve superior accuracy of 99.95%. © 2023 IEEE.

Autonomous monitoring systems are becoming increasingly popular as they can be used to monitor a number of different processes and tasks, ranging from security and surveillance to industrial optimization. smart robotic systems are one of the most popular types of autonomous monitoring systems and can provide an effective and efficient way to monitor different situations. A smart robotic system consists of a robot that is programmed and equipped with sensors to detect and recognize objects and conditions in its environment. The robot is able to analyze the data from the sensors and use it to make decisions based on its programming. This allows the robot to act autonomously and autonomously monitor different areas, depending on its programming. The advantages of using a smart robotic system for autonomous monitoring include increased accuracy, efficiency, and safety. For example, a smart robotic system can be used to monitor and control industrial processes, such as production lines and assembly lines. The sensors allow the robot to identify objects and conditions, such as temperature, humidity, and pressure, and then adjust the parameters accordingly. This can help to optimize the production process, resulting in a more efficient process. © 2023 IEEE.
