Reentrancy attacks have been a significant threat to smart contracts on blockchain platforms. This attack allows an attacker to repeatedly call a vulnerable function in a contract, leading to unexpected behavior and loss of funds. In this research paper, we propose a preventive approach to mitigate the reentrancy attack by introducing a locking mechanism. Our proposed method involves the use of a lock that prevents a contract from being called again until the previous execution is completed. We implement and evaluate our proposed approach on the Ethereum blockchain platform using various benchmarks. Our results show that our approach effectively prevents reentrancy attacks while incurring a low overhead cost. Our proposed approach can be integrated into smart contract development to enhance security and protect against reentrancy attacks by implementing the Function locking technique and Verifying by hashing technique. © 2023 IEEE.

This study addresses the challenge of fault diagnosis in photovoltaic inverter circuits by designing a method that combines Variational Mode Decomposition (VMD) with wavelet energy analysis. The method initially employs the VMD algorithm to perform multi-scale decomposition on signals such as current and voltage during the inverter's operation, revealing the intrinsic modal characteristics at different frequencies. Subsequently, by calculating the wavelet energy of each mode, it extracts the anomalous energy distribution characteristics of the inverter circuit under fault conditions. This method effectively isolates subtle changes related to faults from complex non-stationary signals and enhances the accuracy and real-time performance of fault diagnosis. It provides a powerful tool for the early detection and precise identification of inverter circuit faults during the operation and maintenance of photovoltaic power stations. © 2025 SPIE.

The current study presents a deep learning method that has been developed to detect and categorize illnesses that impact citrus crops. The effectiveness of a convolutional neural network, a type of artificial intelligence, is enhanced by this approach. Architecture with the method involves using support vector machines to classify and then employ three sets of convolution and two completely connected layers, pooling layers, as well as other elements that make up the model. The dataset utilized in the samples produced images of citrus plants that have been afflicted by 9 distinct different kinds of diseases. To assess the model's performance, various metrics such as precision, recall, F1-score, support, accuracy, and average are used. The effectiveness of the model is evaluated based on these metrics, and it was found to have an average weighted F1 score of 86.10% and an overall accuracy of 86.03%. The model achieved the highest precision score of 86.96% for the Citrus nematode class and the lowest precision score of 84.00% for the Dothiorella blight class. © 2023 IEEE.

smart home speakers have become a commodity item in many households and provide interesting research opportunities in areas like wireless communication and human-computer interaction. Commercial devices do not provide sufficient access for many research tasks. We present a modular smart home hub designed specifically for research purposes. The electronic and mechanical components are designed with reproducibility in mind and can be easily recombined for a project's needs. The Soft computing (SC) techniques are essential for spotting harmful behavior in social networks. It is a popular topic of research due to the low cost methods and resilience offered by the SC in detecting the undesired behaviors. The research combines SC methodologies and develops an improved SC methodology to identify intrusions that compromise social network security. The suggested approach in the paper uses an improved SC technique that combines fuzzy logi(FL)c, Decision Tree (DT), K - mean -EM, and deep learning in pre - processing stage, feature extraction, grouping, and classifying, respectively, to grow a security strategy that is more successful than conventional computations in recognizing misappropriation in social media. Identification of Intrusion A KDD-NSL and the DARPA database are used to test the Intrusion Detection (ID) program made using the SC methodology. The results are used to calculate the safety %, time use, cost, and comparing it to other conventional approaches. © 2023 IEEE.

Bio signals play a vital role in terms of communication in the absence of normal communication. Bio signals were automatically evolved from the body whenever any actions took place. The signals gathered from each subject may be varied due to their involvement. Each and every trial of signals can generate different patterns. Each and every pattern generated from the activities also has a different meaning. This study takes the books and user information obtained from Douban as an example, uses the K-means clustering algorithm to sketch the user information, and combines the collaborative filtering algorithm to provide personalized book recommendation services for the purchase plan of smart campus books. © 2024 SPIE.

The development of smart grid technology for more effective and sustainable energy management has been prompted by the growing use of renewable energy sources like solar and wind power. Efficiency, dependability, cost-effectiveness, scalability, and compatibility with various renewable energy sources are some of the characteristics included in the comparison study. The research shows that each method has advantages and disadvantages, and that the choice of method is context-specific.
