In order to quickly realize the composite optical axis stabilization, this article develops a RTX-based Rapid Control Prototyping (RCP) system. The composite optical axis stabilization consists of inertial and optical-mechanical image stabilization, by reasonably decomposing the control range of which, the stabilization accuracy of the optical axis is improved. The RTX shared memory technology is used to separate the real-time domain from the non-real-time domain, realizing the real-time control and communication of each controller, and effectively improving the control bandwidth of the system. Experimental test shows that the real-time performance of the RCP platform meets the requirements, achieving functions such as the identification, control and testing of the composite optical axis stabilization system. Due to the generic design, the RCP platform is able to support subsequent control systems of the same type.

We consider the design of cascaded phase diffractive optical elements (DOEs) operating at several different wavelengths. The problem of DOE design is formulated as the problem of minimizing a certain error functional that depends on the functions of diffractive microrelief height of the cascaded DOE and evaluates its performance at different design wavelengths. Explicit expressions are obtained for the Frechet derivatives of the error functional. The presented expressions for the derivatives of the error functional constitute the basis for gradient design of cascaded multiwavelength DOEs in various problems including the beam shaping and optical classification problems. As particular example, we consider the calculation of cascaded DOEs focusing radiation of three different wavelengths into different letter-shaped areas.

In this article, we explore the integration of Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) 3D printing in testing a novel optical device design. We dive into the thought process behind our approach and discuss the challenges we encountered, including the relatively low precision of FDM printing for such applications, potential deformation of Poly lactic Acid (PLA) material due to heat exposure, and interference from the fluorescence of PLA. Our primary focus was on addressing the low precision, which posed significant difficulties in designing and building our testing setup. Through innovative design strategies, we successfully overcame this obstacle and created a test setup using FDM 3D printing. Our findings demonstrate that FDM printing can be effectively utilized in fields traditionally deemed incompatible due to precision requirements. Moreover, our tests confirmed that heat and fluorescence do not compromise the integrity of the optical setup, suggesting that FDM printing is a viable and cost-effective solution for building opticaltesting setups. This work highlights the versatility of FDM 3D printing across a broad range of applications and underscores the value of smart design in overcoming its limitations and shortcomings.
