The paper presents an innovative predictive model that utilizes network reconstruction techniques to construct networks from accessible data-sets. The proposed model portrays data features as network nodes, with their interconnections illustrated as edges. Increased online accounts and services require robust password management solutions and practices to maintain secure authentication. Deploying unique passwords for all accounts is impractical, as cracking that password leads to losing access to all the related accounts. Thus, managing complex and unique passwords for different accounts is the primary challenge for users. To address this challenge, a secure offline vault-based password management system (Vault-PMS) is proposed. The system leverages multiple security features: AES256 encryption, multi-factor authentication (MFA), and backup to enhance password security and resilience. The system 1) deploys the MFA security control, requiring users to enter a master password and a one-time password (OTP) sent to their emails, 2) relies on password encryption and an offline backup feature that allows the storage of encrypted passwords locally on the user's device or externally on hard drives. The proposed system aims to mitigate risks associated with online storage, specifically cloud storage, and ensure data restoration in case of device damage or loss. The proposed password management system has been implemented using Java and evaluated in terms of security and execution time. The results demonstrate that the system offers a secure, reliable, and efficient solution for password management, effectively addressing the challenges associated with maintaining secure authentication practices for multiple online accounts.

In the realm of unmanned vehicles, challenges persist regarding their limited perception and real-time obstacle detection capabilities. This paper introduces the YOLOv5-SA object recognition algorithm, built upon YOLOv5, which addresses these issues. Leveraging Laplace transformation and SSR image enhancement on the training dataset, coupled with the integration of the SiAM attention mechanism at the network's output layer, and the replacement of the SPPF module with the AIFI module, the proposed model significantly enhances detection speed and accuracy. Experimental results demonstrate lower target omission rates and faster detection in various complex environments. © 2024 ieee.

The proposed research work suggests a combined technique based on decision trees and cloud computing for predicting cognitive decline in Alzheimer's patients. Medical records and data from wearable devices are among the many sources that perform preprocessing and feature engineering. Decision tree models can make the most efficient use of computing resources. Decision tree topologies are tested for performance criteria, including accuracy and F1 score. The system's predictive powers are rather encouraging since it frequently achieves accuracy rates over 90%. However, limitations in data quality and the intricacy of decision tree interpretation provide challenges. The prediction of cognitive deterioration in Alzheimer's patients may be made more scalable and interpretable by integrating decision trees with cloud computing. This method has promise for early identification and intervention despite its limitations. To further improve prediction accuracy and clinical value, future research should increase data quality and make it easier to understand. © 2024 ieee.

The dissolved gas concentrations in oil are key indicators to characterize the condition and possible fault types of power transformer. Accurate prediction of dissolved gas concentrations in oil is crucial for safe operation of transformers. To address the problem of high data noise and strong randomness, we propose a prediction method based on fuzzy cognitive map. The fuzzy cognitive map is inspired by the cognitive mechanisms of human beings when dealing with complex information problems. Dissolved gases data are divided into intervals and granularized into meaningful information to remove the impact of noise data. By incorporating knowledge into the modeling process, we build a granularity feature space for describing the semantics of the granular time series in the corresponding time windows. Based on the fuzzy cognitive map to mine the dynamic causal relationship between the time series information particles, we realize the accurate prediction of dissolved gases in oil. Validated by actual transformer operation cases, the proposed method has over 90% coverage of interval prediction, which proves its high accuracy.

Education plays an essential role in a student's career. From ancient to the present education involves knowledge gaining, conceptual understanding, ethical values, behavior, ability to solve the problem, and mind-mapping. Due to technological advancements, digital transformation changed the education pathway from imagination to implementation. With the rise in digital smart classes, enhanced board teaching, and hybrid learning students can understand the concepts and visualize. However, Current education focuses more on fetching marks for a student which overloads to memorize and affects the lack to bridge the gap between theoretical conceptualization to practical impairment. Students are undergoing severe pressure, and issues relating to stress, depression, and anxiety, and many times, there is an increase in dropout and suicidal rates. The theme of the proposed framework is based on empirical observation, ethnographic observations, and hypothesis based on proof of study to enhance the quality of education in students' careers. Dropout ratio and suicidal impact are presented in the research based on available real-time data. The proposed framework highlights the revision of the curriculum for a student enriching and enhancing the concepts of design thinking, psychology, sociology, and cognitive science. cognitive science helps in developing the intelligence Quotient (IQ) and Emotional Quotient (EQ) of a student which helps in solving and designing an optimal solution framework for complex problems in real time. The proposed architecture highlights the application of ontologies to build the relationship among the factors affecting the child and ethnographic studies based on observations. © 2024 ieee.

In this paper, we investigate the impact of integrating reconfigurable intelligent surface (RIS) in cognitive radio (CR) networks for the enhancement of spectrum sensing and data transmission for unlicensed users (ULU) in a limited energy environment. The idea is to use RIS to help ULU in spectrum sensing as well as energy harvesting operations so that the CR networks perform more efficiently and have better spectral efficiency. To get the full potential of RIS, we employed a nature-inspired soft computing technique named Grey-Wolf optimization (GWO) to tune the reflecting phase of the RIS as needed. With the support of RIS, we investigate the usage of non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) technique for data transmission across multiple users. We illustrate the effectiveness of this integrated approach through simulation and provide the receiver operating characteristics (ROC) curve for spectrum sensing performance and outage probability for spectral efficiency. © 2024 ieee.

The real-time collection and query analysis of dynamic data streams have become increasingly common and important, yet the protection of sensitive private information remains a pressing challenge. Differential privacy, as the gold standard for protecting personal data privacy, has been widely studied and applied. However, existing mechanisms mostly focus on static datasets and specific simple stream queries. This paper presents StreamDP, a novel framework designed to achieve differential privacy for complex real-world stream queries. We introduce the observation-prediction mechanism that predicts statistics such as join attribute frequency using observations and truncates the data stream based on the predicted threshold. Then we design operation-oriented recursive sensitivity calculation rules and employ a hierarchy algorithm for noise perturbation. Extensive experimental evaluations on multiple real-world datasets and distributed stream processing benchmarks show that StreamDP can support various complex real-world data stream queries/applications with high utility and low-performance overhead. © 2024 ieee.

In the field of machine learning, random forest attracts much attention as an integrated learning algorithm because of its excellent generalization ability and processing effect on nonlinear complex data. This study aims to explore the application of random forests to multi-classification data, evaluating the performance and limitations by building a random forest model and conducting empirical analysis. Through a series of experiments, we determined an optimal set of parameters that achieved a test accuracy of 80.21%. Therefore, the random forest model shows significant advantages in dealing with multi-classification problems, and can effectively improve the prediction accuracy and stability. The findings of this study provide strong support for the application of random forest in multi-classification datasets and provide valuable reference and guidance for research and practitioners in related fields. © 2024 ieee.

A long running data-intensive computational application acquires costly computing resources. With the emerging new architectures, like computing systems with multiple nodes of many-core CPUs and accelerators, while domain-specific tools and libraries employed in such an application leverage high parallelism on accelerators for intensive computations, the remaining resources can potentially be utilized for other application-related data operations. Such data operations, called opportunistic data operations in this work, must usually be carried out for post-processing or follow-up analytics based on results produced during the runtime of the application. These operations are not easily backfilled or preempted under the guidance of the domain scientist or by common task scheduling systems due to their complex *** this paper, we introduce a framework for domain scientists to identify and execute opportunistic data operation tasks. With a minimal specification or modification of the main application, the scientists can specify, monitor, and execute opportunistic tasks independently from the main application and the framework will detect underutilized resources to execute these tasks, thereby, optimizing utilization efficiency within the allocated resources. We present experiments to demonstrate the applicability of our framework on a magnetic field modeling running on the LUMI computing system. © 2024 ieee.
