The cross-domain data security of the visual Internet involves various links such as data transmission, storage, processing and destruction. This paper constructs a cross-domain sharing system composed of a basic resource layer, a shared resource layer and an application layer. The original measured data is converted into a common shared data format through sensors, and then converted into a digital quantity that can be processed by computers using an A/D converter. The error is corrected in the preprocessing stage. The key feature data is extracted, the data from different sensors are integrated, and the results are output in the required format. Privacy protection is achieved by calculating keyword weights, etc. In the experimental analysis, the scheduling time, resource generation time and search time of the method in this paper are the shortest, which are 303 ms, 1086 ms and 110 ms respectively;the number of shared resources calculated is the largest, whi1ch is 146, and the time for returning the calculation results is the shortest, which is 97 ms;when the number of system calculations reaches 100, the highest point of the calculation cost is the lowest point of all system calculation costs, which is 140 ms. Finally, it is concluded that the scheme in this paper has high privacy protection performance, can keep resource expenditure controllable, and has practicality. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2025.

This manuscript provides an in-depth analysis of Major League Baseball (MLB) team performance from 2005 to 2023 using data visualization in Tableau and proposed an hybrid data visualization model (VisMLB) for Major League Baseball matches. The objective is to identify key metrics, such as batting, fielding, and pitching, that influence team success, including championship wins. The authors analyze the total number of championships won by each team, compare top-performing teams based on a variety of performance metrics, and explore the relationship between On-Base Percentage (OBP) and Slugging Percentage (SLG) for home and visitor teams in relation to home victories. Using Tableau, feature importance is visualized, and predictive models are evaluated for accuracy, precision, and recall. The findings offer a comprehensive overview of MLB performance trends over nearly two decades.

This paper introduces a computational model for gathering data from diverse sources to improve both group and individual communication by integrating visual and audio inputs, emotional sensitivity metrics, and performance evaluations. The ET model analyzes complex data patterns and draws insights into the emotional response using emotional level tokens. The proposed approach will help organizations develop decision-support software to integrate human-data interaction into business processes, which in turn accelerates decision-making and offers a competitive advantage by using emotional analysis to produce actionable business knowledge.

The aim of this study is to develop a method for creating effective visualization models that can generate graphs from security data for later visual analysis using artificial intelligence methods. This study systematically analyzes the areas of information security where neural networks are applied, and presents the most common neural network architectures used for image analysis. To develop the method, conceptual visualization models are proposed that take into account the technical features of convolutional neural networks and the differences in perception between human operators and neural networks. The method is based on these conceptual models and a set of visual design principles. This approach will allow one to not only design visualization models suitable for neural network analysis but also automate the work of human operators. The proposed solution can play an important role in developing information security applications. The study also suggests an architecture for a software prototype based on the proposed method. The findings of this study may be useful for developers of decision support systems and researchers working in the field of neural network technology. © 2025 IEEE.

Renewable energy sources are vital to help mitigate the effects of climate change, and reducing the carbon dioxide emissions of fossil fuels, e.g. the state of New Jersey has a goal of producing 100% clean energy by 2050. However, the plans for offshore wind energy by the shore of the state still brings much controversy between residents due to the wind farms’ impact on wildlife, coastline, and the people’s view from the beaches. In this context, we perform sentiment analysis on social media data to investigate people’s opinions and concerns regarding offshore wind energy. We adapt 3 machine learning models, i.e. TextBlob, VADER and SentiWordNet for sentiment analysis because different functions are provided by each model, all of which are useful in our work. Techniques in NLP (natural language processing) are harnessed to gather meaning from the textual data in social media. data visualization tools are suitably deployed to display the overall results. Despite the controversy surrounding this topic, our findings indicate some positive reception, suggesting potential support for modern-day renewable energy goals. However, there are neutral and negative comments as well, thus potentially helping to find areas for further improvement. The results of this work can be thus useful in a variety of decision-making contexts by governmental organizations and companies, hence aiding and enhancing offshore wind energy policy development. Hence, this work is much in line with citizen science and smart governance via involvement of mass opinion in decision support. In our paper, we highlight the role of sentiment analysis from social media in this aspect. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2025.

This paper presents the development of an advanced monitoring system for meat production facilities, designed to address critical economic and hygienic requirements while optimizing operational efficiency. Utilizing Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) integrated with devices supporting digital pulse outputs, Modbus, and 1-Wire protocols, the system enables comprehensive real-time data collection and visualization. data is stored in an external database and accessed via SOAP protocols with WSDL, while web technologies such as HTML, PHP, and JavaScript facilitate intuitive visualization and historical data analysis. Anomaly notifications, including power outages or temperature irregularities, are managed through automated alerts using SMTP. Additional features include employee attendance tracking and an intuitive operator interface for real-time insights. The system’s implementation demonstrates enhanced operational oversight, cost efficiency, and adherence to hygiene standards, with potential scalability and opportunities for integrating predictive analytics to further support proactive management.

With the rapid development of 3D vision technology, laser scanning, tilt photography and other technologies make point cloud data acquisition more convenient, so that it can meet the needs of a variety of building construction scenarios applications. Point cloud technology is the key data support for digital development in the construction field, and has been widely used in building construction management. In this paper, the 3D point cloud is combined with BIM technology to realize the 3D modeling of building construction sites and urban pipe networks. The point cloud data is obtained by 3D laser scanning equipment, and pre-processed by point cloud processing software, including splicing, denoising, and streamlining operations;then the feature point cloud extraction method is combined with BIM modeling software and visual programming technology, which effectively solves the problem that traditional mapping methods are unable to obtain and process complex building information and the problem of information islands in the BIM model. The method of this paper is of great significance for the digitalization, informatization and visualization of future building construction and municipal pipeline network operation and maintenance management. © 2024 Copyright held by the owner/author(s). We present a visual analytic system that can quantitatively can evaluate the tree images from the Baum test, which assesses psychological traits of subjects. The system quantifies the tree features in the images and creates an overview plot of the set of the tree images by using dimensionality reduction techniques. The system then identifies psychological traits by analyzing the formed clusters using numerical data obtained from additional psychological evaluations and statistical measures, and integrating these traits with the tree features. Experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of the system in several cases. However, the system has some limitations, such as challenges in analyzing scenarios where statistically significant differences are not observed, and more detailed feature analysis of the tree images is required for complex psychological state analysis.
