The article discusses an approach to the organization of monitoring and management of server equipment, aimed at ensuring the stable operation of the IT infrastructure. Modern methods based on threshold analysis cannot cope with the volume and variety of data, which requires automation of the collection, processing and analysis of metrics. A computing cluster of servers using the Proxmox VE virtualization platform is presented as an object of research. The features of time series storage and data processing using the InfluxDB database, which has a convenient query language called Flux, are described. Implemented software architecture for integrating monitoring and data analysis tools, including Prometheus PVE Exporter, Telegraf and Flux. The advantages of using Python for metric analysis and query development using the Builder pattern are shown, which simplifies working with the system. Methods of data preprocessing and visualization for anomaly analysis and forecasting with the aim of maintaining the stable operation of server equipment are discussed. The proposed approach ensures the efficiency and ease of monitoring, while also enhancing the accuracy of decision-making given the increasing complexity of IT infrastructure. © 2025 IEEE.

The abundance of digital data available in today’s environment can improve quality of life and offer helpful insights. In the e-commerce space, customer evaluations and comments about a product may truly be utilized to gain valuable information for the seller, which can then be applied to the product’s enhancement. This study seeks to collect comments on the product’s surrounding features as well as the polarity of the sentiments expressed in product reviews. By doing this, the vendor will be able to comprehend the consumer market, consider ideas, and adjust their product properly. The model implementation consists of three parts, aspect term extraction, opinion term extraction, and sentiment score calculation. An unsupervised rule-based model has been implemented to extract aspect and opinion terms, whereas a BERT model to obtain the sentiment score. © 2025 IEEE.

It also fosters a deeper understanding of the underlying patterns and trends, offering a bridge between raw data and actionable insights. data visualization is an indispensable tool in strategic planning and operational efficiency, facilitating quick and precise decision-making. This research paper provides an extensive overview of data visualization techniques utilizing the R programming language. The paper discusses the data collection process, stressing its importance for reliable visualizations. Then, it explores the benefits of using R for visualization, emphasizing its versatility and rich package ecosystem. Additionally, the paper covers various visualization techniques in R, such as Pie Diagrams, Bar Graphs, Histograms, Box Plots, Line Plots, Mosaic Plots, Bubble Charts, Violin Plots, and Scatter Diagrams. Recently, many vision-and-language models have demonstrated remarkable performance in various multimodal tasks using a zero-shot approach. However, they lack spatial reasoning abilities, particularly in understanding visuo-spatial information from another’s perspective, a skill known as visual perspective taking. In this paper, we investigate whether vision-and-language models can develop visual perspective-taking abilities in a zero-shot manner. Through a simple experiment, we demonstrate that these models still struggle to see the world from another’s viewpoint, suggesting that vision-and-language models are hindered by an egocentric bias.

Effectively recognizing emotions requires sophisticated approaches for interpreting diverse modalities, particularly in real-world scenarios where multiple data sources, such as speech, text, and visual cues, are often noisy and incomplete. This study proposes an advanced multimodal emotion recognition system that integrates these three modalities by adding the speaker detection and extraction algorithm within visual data. The pre-trained Q-Former used in the proposed system then captures and interprets visual signals supported with designated prompts, resulting in facial-related features that significantly improve emotion recognition performance. We then utilize a cross-modal transformer to unify the visual, speech, and text embeddings for accurate emotion classification. We achieved a 2.9% and 3.3% improvement in accuracy and F1 score, respectively, on the MELD dataset compared to the baseline.

In order to detect and forecast air pollutants, this study suggests a real-time air quality monitoring system based on AI and IoT. To offer precise and trustworthy air quality data, the system combines sensors, Internet of Things devices, and machine learning algorithms. With an accuracy rate of more than 90%, the suggested system can identify and predict air pollutants such as O3, PM2.5, and NO2. Stakeholders can access air quality data and get tailored suggestions using a mobile application and real-time data visualization dashboard. Proactive steps to lower air pollution are made possible by the system's predictive analytics capability, improving public health and environmental sustainability.

We present SONIQUE, a model for generating background music tailored to video content. Unlike traditional video-to-music generation approaches, which rely heavily on paired audio-visual datasets, SONIQUE leverages unpaired data, combining royalty-free music and independent video sources. By utilizing large language models (LLMs) for video understanding and converting visual descriptions into musical tags, alongside a U-Net-based conditional diffusion model, SONIQUE enables customizable music generation. Users can control specific aspects of the music, such as instruments, genres, tempo, and melodies, ensuring the generated output fits their creative vision. SONIQUE is open-source, with a demo available online.

The city functions as a medium formed by its public, with the life experiences and identity dissemination of young creative groups serving as a manifestation of urban soft power. This study, grounded in the theoretical development of communication studies and the practice of visual translation, constructs a triadic theoretical framework of “spatial-cognitive-semiotic” dimensions. Integrating sociological empirical research with digital visual technologies employs visual translation to interpret and present social research on urban rental housing. This study proposes and implements an action pathway consisting of the following steps: language-mediated in-depth interviews, media-assisted information expression and storage, data modeling of emotions and attitudes, computer vision-driven symbolic decoding and semantic translation, and visual re-dissemination of research findings. By leveraging digital tools, this study seeks to enhance media communication efficiency and facilitate social interaction among heterogeneous individuals, reinforcing the emotional connection between young people and urban spaces while fostering the deep integration of communication practices and social governance.

Recently, Vision Transformers (ViTs) have shown remarkable success in various computer vision applications. In this work, we have explored the potential of ViTs, pre-trained on visual data, for audio-visual speaker verification. To cope with the challenges of large-scale training, we introduce the Latent Audio-visual Vision Transformer (LAVViT) adapters, where we exploit the existing pre-trained models on visual data without fine-tuning their parameters and train only the parameters of LAVViT adapters. The LAVViT adapters are injected into every layer of the ViT architecture to effectively fuse the audio and visual modalities using a small set of latent tokens, forming an attention bottleneck, thereby reducing the quadratic computational cost of cross-attention across the modalities. The proposed approach has been evaluated on the Voxceleb1 dataset and shows promising performance using only a few trainable parameters. Code is available at https://***/praveena2j/LAVViT

This paper presents an AI-driven assistance scheme for individuals with mild cognitive impairment (MCI). The scheme combines electroencephalogram (EEG) sensing to monitor brain activity with a visual sensing module that captures environmental images. The analyzed EEG and visual data are fused to trigger personalized, context-aware conversations through cloud-based AI services such as ChatGPT. Text-to-speech and voice recognition technologies ensure smooth communication, while voice style transfer simulates familiar accents to improve comfort for MCI patients. The effectiveness of the proposal is validated by a prototype and simulations that incorporate EEG/visual data analysis. and personalized AI chatting.
