the abnormal value was common in bridge health monitoring system. the prediction model based on LSTM neural network in bridge health monitoring system was studied in this paper. the modeling process was discussed about LSTM neural network model. the LSTM neural network model was also used to analysis the actual data in bridge. the results indicated that the prediction accuracy of LSTM model was high. thus, the LSTM neural network could be used to analyze and predict data in bridge monitoring system. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

An increasing number of electric vehicles (EVs) will be charged/discharged in EV charging stations (EVCSs) in distribution systems. Grid-2-vehicle (G2V) and vehicle-2-grid (V2G) operation of EVs are economically and technically rewarding only when an optimal G2V/V2G strategy is properly developed. In this study, a scheduling scheme is developed which mainly focus on guaranteeing the rewards of all agents (e.g EVs, EVCSs, and electricity suppliers (ESs)) participating in V2G and G2V operation. Based on the proposed strategy, EVs independently plan their charging/discharging depending on the shortest driving route and cost/benefit offered by EVCSs. Furthermore, each EVCS finds the best ES to purchase electricity from the wholesale market. the benefits of all agents in EV's V2G and G2V operation are taken into account by formulating three optimization problems. Each problem belongs to each agent. To implement the proposed strategy, a cloud scheduling system is operated to collect required information from all agents, solve the optimization problems, and ultimately send the results to relevant agents. Optimal hourly electricity prices are determined for the three agents. For simulation purposes, nine EVCSs and three ESs are facilitated for charging/discharging of EVs to visualize and validate the modeling results. the results show that by implementing the proposed strategy, the cost of EVs decreases by 18%, and the revenues of EVCSs and ESs are raised by 21% and 23%, respectively, compared to the case in which EVs do not use the proposed strategy in EV's V2G and G2V operation.

Graphics processing units (GPUs) are widely used in the area of scientific computing. While GPUs provide much higher peak performance, efficient implementation of real applications on the GPU architectures is still a non-trivial task. It is crucial to realize efficient solution algorithms that can better utilize GPU architectures. this paper presents our efforts in parallelizing and optimizing LESAP, a CFD application for scramjet combustion simulation, on NVIDIA GPUs. the GPU parallelization is realized based on the CUDA programming model, with a data-parallel implicit time-marching method that is efficient on the GPU architecture. Furthermore, shared memory and redundant calculation are proposed to reduce memory access overhead during GPU computation, and data transfer between CPU and GPU is optimized by packing the data to be transferred. the experimental results show that the GPU version, when runs on four V100 GPUs, achieves a speedup of 11.26 times compared to the CPU version that runs on two 24-core Intel Skylake Gold 6240R CPUs. Excellent parallel scalability across multiple GPUs is also observed.

this paper selects passengers of the horizontal passageway in the airport landside automatic people mover (APM) system as the research object, and studies the passenger's pace characteristics of the horizontal passageway in the airport landside APM system and the impact of carrying different types of trolley case baggage on passenger's pace. through field surveys, the statistics of passengers carrying baggage are analyzed, and then the overall passenger's pace characteristics in the passageway are analyzed, and the pace characteristics of passengers carrying different types of luggage are compared and analyzed. the conclusions of this paper cannot only provide a basis for the calculation of the passageway capacity, passageway design and optimization, and passenger flow organization in the landside APM system, but also enrich the researches on the factors affecting passenger's pace, and provide basic parameters for passenger microscopic simulation and passenger flow evacuation modeling.

this paper presents an optimization-based hierarchical motion planning and control architecture for autonomous racing that enables fast feedback times without significantly compromising on model accuracy. the online control scheme is divided into a high level NMPC for time-optimal trajectory planning and a low level NMPC for trajectory tracking using the same vehicle model. We numerically validate our approach in terms of computational efficiency and closed-loop performance in a detailed vehicle dynamics simulation environment. Despite considerable model-plant mismatches, the proposed hierarchical NMPC controller achieves a driven lap time in simulation which is only marginally slower than the theoretically optimal trajectory calculated offline via Optimal Control.

thermal comfort is a major factor for a building's design, and is associated to room temperature conditions. thermal comfort depends on climatic variables and several individual / subjective factors such as clothing, acclimatization, age, gender, level of health, and others. Measurements of thermal comfort made via Meteoblue and SunHour software at the Rifain Digital Printing location provide data including temperature, humidity, sun exposure and wind speed. the data is then synthesized using CBE thermal Comfort, a software that detects conformity to thermal comfort standards in a room. the results of measurement and data synthesis indicated that the building requires a cooling temperature of 5.2 ° C. From these results, it can be said that the thermal comfort of Rifain Digital Printing is not optimal. Improvements are needed to the existing thermal conditions. One of the efforts to optimize thermal comfort is the use of vegetation and water (Talarosha, 2005). Based on synthesis result obtained through research and data processing through literature studies, we came up with a solution, namely a vertical garden with a water wall system design as an effort to overcome the problem of thermal comfort in the Rifain Digital Printing building. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Nowadays, the deterioration of water resources leads to negative ecological impacts. To effectively inhibit the deterioration of water resources, a water quality prediction model based on enhanced transformer, sliding block, and channel independence (WaterTS) is proposed by comprehensively analyzing the indicators of water resources and making long-term predictions of the dissolved oxygen index. WaterTS adopts a sliding block method to extract the short-term temporal features of the water quality series and combine them with channel independence to make independent predictions of multi-featured data. Moreover, it upgrades the internal encoder structure of the transformer and improves the attention mechanism to Probsparse-attention and Auto-Correlation to speed up the prediction speed. Furthermore, Post LayerNormal is adjusted to Pre LayerNormal, which makes the training gradient more stable and enhances the accuracy of predictions. Experiments are conducted using real-world water environment data, and comparison results with state-of-the-art prediction models show that the WaterTS achieves accurate predictions on both short-term and long-term water quality data.

While ECG data is crucial for diagnosing and monitoring heart conditions, it also contains unique biometric information that poses significant privacy risks. Existing ECG re-identification studies rely on exhaustive analysis of numerous deep learning features, confining to ad-hoc explainability towards clinicians decision making. In this work, we delve into explainability of ECG re-identification risks using transparent machine learning models. We use SHapley Additive exPlanations (SHAP) analysis to identify and explain the key features contributing to re-identification risks. We conduct an empirical analysis of identity re-identification risks using ECG data from five diverse real-world datasets, encompassing 223 participants. By employing transparent machine learning models, we reveal the diversity among different ECG features in contributing towards re-identification of individuals with an accuracy of 0.76 for gender, 0.67 for age group, and 0.82 for participant ID re-identification. Our approach provides valuable insights for clinical experts and guides the development of effective privacy-preserving mechanisms. Further, our findings emphasize the necessity for robust privacy measures in real-world health applications and offer detailed, actionable insights for enhancing data anonymization techniques.

During the operation of buses, operating conditions may change, and the original uniform departure interval cannot meet the system requirements. these factors may lead to problems such as the reduction of the average passenger load factor and the increase of passenger waiting time. this paper mainly studies the optimization of bus dispatching systems and uses the dynamic programming method in the principle of operations research, assuming that road conditions and passenger flow conditions affect the instability parameters of the dispatching system. On the basis of ensuring low operating costs, the bus operation process is transformed into a multi-stage decision-making optimization problem to find the optimal strategy to satisfy the passengers' travel demand. the inverse recursive method is used to solve this problem and the result shows that the average waiting time is reduced by 6 min, and the bus full load rate is increased to 95.26%.

Rogowski coil measuring systems are linear systems due to the absence of magnetic cores. they work on the principle of electromagnetic induction. these systems generally include two galvanically separated circuits: a primary circuit, for which it is desired to determine some quantities (e.g. conduction currents) or parameters, and a secondary circuit, supplied through the magnetic field, where the Rogowski coil is a part. In this paper the secondary circuit is closed through the internal resistance of a ballistic galvanometer. We started from a real system, for which some of the parameters are known, and the aim was to create and validate an equivalent electrical scheme of the entire system. Firstly, the self and mutual (unknown) inductances were determined by numerical modeling. then the electrical diagram of the system was realized;the input quantity was the current through the primary circuit (having a step variation), and the output quantity was the maximum indication (deviation) of the galvanometer. the results of the simulations were compared with the experimental results, obtaining a very good correspondence of them.
