Fifth-generation energy networks are combined networks of heat and electricity, that have the ability to generate, distribute, store and share energy between consumers. Knowledge on the dynamic behaviour of the physical phenomena related to energy generation, distribution and storage provides insight into the performance of the system as a whole. A mixed-integer linear algorithm is proposed, implementing a partitioned clustering program for subsequent classification of typical demand, grouping specific days with similar demand profiles together. From this arrangement, the optimal network configuration can be determined using an objective function, minimizing the economic and environmental impact. To validate the optimization results, a simulation of the network was built, which mimics its physical dynamic behaviour, and through which the distribution and storage capabilities of the network can be assessed. Advanced advice on fifth-generation energy networks is presented that can be applied to early-stage network design, reducing costs and emissions, along with data on the implementation of renewable energy technologies and their performance. Additionally, this research provides the foundation for numerical modelling of such energy networks which contributes to future research.

The urgent need for a global energy transition towards sustainability has underscored the importance of Renewable Energy Communities (RECs) in promoting local green energy production and consumption. Managing these communities is complex due to the diverse behaviors of members influenced by various factors. This paper proposes a conceptual model of a multi-agent system that integrates the Theory of Planned Behavior and Activity Theory to simulate individual and collective behaviors within energy communities. By leveraging the psychological insights of the Theory of Planned Behavior and the socio-cultural perspective of Activity Theory, the conceptual model aims to enhance the understanding of behavioral dynamics within RECs, thereby informing management strategies and energy policies. The model is designed to simulate energy behaviors and interactions between agents and their environment. Agents, representing consumers and producers, make decisions based on attitudes, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control as outlined by the Theory of Planned Behavior. The system's environment, structured by Activity Theory, organizes agents' interactions and incorporates tools, roles, rules, and norms governing the activities within energy communities. Future simulations under various scenarios will allow the evaluation of management strategies, facilitating the transition towards sustainable energy practices. This socio-technical approach offers a detailed framework for modeling energy community behaviors and demonstrates the efficacy of multi-agent systems in studying complex energy systems.

Transmission power optimization is a critical aspect of advanced wireless systems, as it reduces interference, enhances signal quality, and ensures reliable communication, even under dynamic conditions. Consequently, it has become indispensable for improving overall system performance. In this study, we have leveraged predictive modeling to optimize transmission power effectively. The research introduces an innovative ensemble learning model that accurately predicts path loss and received power, forming the basis for precise optimization. We have integrated the prediction of the proposed model with the Adam optimizer to implement dynamic transmission power management. Realistic datasets generated using the QualNet simulator have ensured reliability and applicability in diverse scenarios. Additionally, we propose a power control unit to implement the optimizationstrategy practically, enabling real-time transmission power adjustments in response to changing network conditions. This comprehensive approach marks a significant advancement in predictive modeling and optimization techniques, paving the way for a more efficient, adaptive, and sustainable wireless communication infrastructure.
