in an era of the widespread introduction of information technology, the broadest possibilities are opening up for the implementation of additional services for prosumers in the electricity market. The traditional electric power system of Russia allows customers to receive electricity only from large power plants, which leads to centralization and monopoly. Currently, the concept of distributed generation is gaining popularity. The idea is that small electric power generators are distributed throughout the local power network. The introduction of such an electrical network will improve the reliability of the system. However, such a network needs effective management and an electricity metering system. This paper proposes the use of distributed network blockchain technology as a solution to these problems. The proposed double-chain blockchain model will provide for the electric energy trading within the local electricity market, without third-party intermediaries, with a sufficient level of security and automation for all participants.

In this paper, the permanent magnet motors for robot arms is designed by applying two winding methods. distributed winding and concentrated winding were applied to two motors having the identical rotor, and the inner and outer diameter dimensions of the stator were designed to be the same. Two motors were fabricated by changing the number of slots and the winding design of the stator. The characteristics of the two motors were described through performance tests and measurement.

This study combines ambient intelligence with wireless grids to investigate social interactions in emerging and next generation technology-pervasive environments. The use experience of postsecondary students and faculty with WeJay social radio is explored in a virtual distributed environment. The research literature on 21st century social sciences, wireless grids, ambient intelligence, and futures studies provides a theoretical framework for the exploration of social interactions with emerging technologies. The research design incorporates a case study approach, employing multiple methods of inquiry and analysis. Focusing on information-based social interactions in technology-pervasive environments, this study proposes an interaction dynamic, a conceptual model, and a research agenda for a 21st century ambient learning and information society.

There are large varieties of governmental organizations using clouds in different ways. The purpose of this article is to explore and classify the types of public organizations using cloud computing. This will help to improve our understanding of cloud adoption and use by governments. For this, a systematic review of literature on cloud government (CloudGov) was performed by searching for articles in several databases. The review resulted into the main elements of the framework for classifying cloud use. In addition, using diffusion of innovation and institutional theory a categorization of public organizations was made. When applying the CloudGov framework empirically in government organizations, we identified three types of organizations: Leaders, Followers and Laggers. The types differ in various ways including their technology expertise, attitude towards innovation and level of political support. In furthedr research, we recommend investigating which drivers influence the type of CloudGov users and generalize the framework to other contexts.

The edgeless active contour model can solve the initialization problem, noise problem and boundary leakage problem, but due to the use of level sets, there are still problems of low computational efficiency and difficult implementation Combining the global effect of CV model and the local effect of RSF, this paper establishes a global and local biphasic level set model based on CV-RSF by setting weight coefficients and introducing bilevel set. By increasing the energy penalty term, the level set function maintains an approximate signed distance function dining the evolution process. The comparison experiments with other level set models show that the segmentation efficiency and accuracy of this model are improved.

Determining an appropriate thread count for a multithread application running on a heterogeneous many-core system is crucial for improving computing performance and reducing energy consumption. This paper investigates the interrelation between thread count and computing performance of applications, and designs a prediction model of the optimum thread count on the basis of Amdahl's law combined with regression analysis theory to improve computing performance and reduce energy consumption. The prediction model can estimate the optimum tread count relying on the program running behaviors and the architecture characteristics of heterogeneous many-core system. Using the estimated optimum thread count, the number of the active hardware threads and processing cores on the many-core processor is dynamically adjusted in the process of thread mapping to improve the energy efficiency of entire heterogeneous many-core system. The experimental results show that, using this paper proposed thread count prediction model, on an average, the computing performance is improved by 48.6%, energy consumption is reduced by 59%, and additional overhead introduced is 2.03% compared with that of the traditional thread mapping for the PARSEC benchmark programs run on an Intel MIC heterogeneous many-core system.

Ubiquitous computing is an emerging paradigm for health care environments, in which devices must blend into the background unobtrusively, collaborating to provide value-added services for users. Insufficient information flow and coordination are some of the main concerns in a ubiquitous health care environment. Resources are, therefore, essential to the success of this technology and, as a result, both resource discovery and management play a vital role in sustainable ubiquitous deployment. In this paper, we present a novel resource discovery mechanism for ubiquitous computing environments using Resource Index nodes (RIns) and mobile agents. The context information needed to process a query is identified and mobile agents are deployed to explore the ubiquitous environment for requested resources. We present a health care scenario and evaluate our proposed resource discovery method.

Data warehouses store large volumes of data according to a multidimensional model that provides a fast access for online analysis. The constant growth in quantity and complexity of data stored in data warehouses has led to a variety of data warehouse applications on distributed systems. The main benefits of these architectures are parallelized query execution and higher storage capacities. computing grids in particular are built to combine a large number of heterogeneous distributed resources. Their lack If of centralized control however conflicts with the centralized structure of classical data warehouses. Autonomous data management on grid nodes requires efficient communication during query evaluation. The architecture we present supports a global data localization method with the help of a specialized catalog service. Our work is based on a model for unique identification and efficient local indexing of the warehouse data. Local indexes integrate computable aggregates for maximum utilization of locally materialized data in order to facilitate cost-optimized query execution. The grid services implementing these Junctionalities are deployed on the GGM project's test environment.

distributed photovoltaic (PV) utilizes renewable energy sources for power generation, offering advantages such as carbon emission reduction and environmental friendliness. When distributed PV power exceeds the regional load consumption limits, it may lead to the issue that the reverse power flow exceeds the rated capacity of transformers and distribution feeders. This could result in abnormal operation of power equipment and power quality issues. Since these situations have frequently occurred in some regions, this paper proposes two developed devices and a specific implementation method to monitor, calculate and control distributed PV systems in real-time. These devices and systems have been widely applied. The conclusion of practice is that if the friendly interaction between distributed PV and the power grid can be achieved, the large-scale power outages under the extreme situations can be prevented.
