Ad-hoc Network needs an efficient node management because the wireless network has energy constraints. Previously proposed a hierarchical routing protocol reduce the energy consumption and prolong the network lifetime. Further, there is a deficiency conventional works about the energy efficient depth of cluster associated with the overhead. In this paper, we propose a novel top-down method clustered hierarchy, CACHE(Context-aware Clustering Hierarchy and Energy-Efficient). The proposed analysis could estimate the optimum k-depth of hierarchy architecture in clustering protocols.

Wireless Audio Sensor Networks (WASNs) can provide event detection, object tracking and audio stream monitoring through cooperative audio sensor nodes. Extensive researches have focused on sound detection and source localization, but little work is on the monitoring and recovery of audio stream. To clearly reconstruct the real-time audio stream from WASNs, both the quantity and quality of samples provided by sensor nodes should be carefully considered. In this work, we propose a novel approach termed "adaptive sampling and diversity reception", which can significantly reduce the energy consumption of network while maintaining high accuracy of audio stream. On one hand, by selectively picking sampling nodes and adaptively adjusting their sampling rates, sufficient samples arrive at the fusion node for high recovering fidelity. On the other hand, through Maximal-Ratio-Combining(MRC)-like signal fusion scheme at the fusion node, the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) of combined audio is further improved. Meanwhile, we propose a heuristic algorithm of sampling rate assignment which can select a set of optimal sampling nodes and hence minimize the energy consumption on data transmission. Analytically and experimentally, we show that the proposed scheme can improve the signal recovering fidelity tremendously with low energy cost.

In this paper we give a progress report on an ongoing effort at Accenture to develop a technology platform for building a wide range of corporate radar applications, which can turn the Web into a systematic source of business insight. Our goal is to share the platform we have developed and the lessons we have learned, so others can leverage this knowledge when building similar applications. We give an overview of this platform, which integrates a combination of established AI technologies - i.e. semantic models, natural language processing, and inference engines in a novel way. We then illustrate the kinds of corporate radars that can be built with our platform through two applications we developed at Accenture: the technology Lifecycle Tracker which assesses the maturity of technologies from the wireless industry, and the technology Trend Tracker which measures hype versus reality for emerging technology trends such as cloud computing, software-as-a-service, and more. Finally, we discuss our experiences in using this platform to build these applications and the lessons learned.

That is, if the links between a correct process and all the other processes are eventually timely, consensus can be solved. This paper show that a }3f -bisource is also enough, so we only require that the links between some correct process and 3f (instead of all) other processes are eventually timely. In this paper we address the problem of the efficient peer selection in P2P distributed platforms. To this end, we have developed a P2P distributed platform using Sun's MA technology, which is endowed with resource brokerage strategies to efficiently select peers using four selection models: (a) economic scheduling model: (b) priced-based model: (c) peer-priority selection model;and, (d) random selection model. Next, we have deployed the P2P platform in a real network using nodes of the PlanetLab and have experimentally evaluated the performance of the peer selection models.
