The design of a finite impulse response (FIR) digital filter is essentially a multi-parameter and multi-objective optimization problem, different optimization techniques can be utilized to minimize the latency in the live audio processing chain by minimization or maximization of the objective function. Using cascaded FIR filters as anti-aliasing and anti-image filters for high-resolution audio conversion are common. We can optimize the parameters of each stage to achieve the overall performance requirements. the method of modified Simulated Annealing (SA) Algorithm is proposed to resize the best distribution of passband ripple, transition band and stopband attenuation for each level of Multi-stage filter. It shows the proposed a new multi-stage filter design method improves the efficiency of the designed filter in terms of filter cost and group delay comparing with traditional design. © 2019 IEEE.

The construction of intelligent grain network is an important part of the national grain protection, and information platform is an important foundation to support the construction of intelligent Grain Network. In order to make full use of the computing resources, to meet the needs of reliable storage and efficient management of all the information, the information platform structure of intelligent grain network based on cloud computing is proposed. In this paper, the architecture of the platform is presented, and the feasibility, advantages and problems of the new method are analyzed. According to the characteristics of intelligent grain network state monitoring, combined with the Hadoop cloud computing technology, this paper proposes the solution of intelligent grain network monitoring cloud computing platform. Research on cloud computing virtualization, distributed storage and parallel programming model and other issues, can achieve reliable intelligent grain network mass information storage and fast parallel processing.

In recent years, in order to solve the problem of high-speed signal transmission quality, the solution of short reach HSS + on-board optics + passive optical fiber is gradually replacing the original long reach HSS + AOC inter-switch interconnection scheme. When the on-board optics fails, its replacement time will be much higher than that of AOC, which increases the duration of interconnection failure in the system. We believe that it is essential that the fault-tolerant routing strategy can reduce the degradation of the performance of the interconnection network without suspending the operation of the tasks, as this will greatly improve the overall availability of the system during the duration of the failure. In this paper, a fault-tolerant routing strategy for fat-tree topology is proposed, which can tolerate multiple interconnect failures with only a graceful performance degradation through actual system testing. © 2019 IEEE.

[FCS94] This paper describes a strategic direction to alleviate the 'pain' of integrating individual management solutions by establishing a framework for distributed Systems Management into the architecture of business-critical C/S applications and their underlying infrastructure.

Convolutional neural networks(CNN) have made significant advances in offline handwritten Chinese character recognition, CNN recognize characters based on local feature but not making use of the overall topology of the character to improve recognition accuracy. In this paper, we propose a method for handwritten Chinese character recognition by using CNN combined with TrueType font template matching. Firstly, a trained CNN is used to recognize the handwritten Chinese character, the output Top-N are selected as the candidate characters, and then the handwritten Chinese character is linearly transformed and matched with the TrueType font templates of the candidate characters respectively, the best matching candidate character is selected as the result. The experiments show that the method can combine the speed of CNN and the accuracy of template matching effectively, has higher accuracy than conventional CNN, especially for specific types of handwritten Chinese characters recognition.

With the rapid advancements of mobile computing, mobile location recognition is becoming an important and useful service, which recognizes the logical locations of places/scenes that users are interested in, instead of physical coordinates. Most of the existing mobile location recognition systems utilize the image as visual fingerprint of a place, and need to construct a large-scale visual fingerprint database in advance. However, collecting visual fingerprints is a labor-intensive and time-consuming procedure. In order to address this problem, we propose a novel crowdsourcing-based framework, and leverage a variety of sensors embedded in smartphones to collect richer location fingerprints for exploring their positive effects. To achieve higher recognition accuracy, we propose an object-centric fingerprint searching which can sufficiently take advantage of smartphone sensors and determine more accurate searching space than the traditional user-centric method. We build a crowdsourcing-based database with richer fingerprints and implement a location recognition system, called CrowdLR. Extensive experiments verify that our object-centric method can achieve promising results maintaining around 10% precision higher than the user-centric method.

Deep learning technology is widely used in many modern fields and a number of deep learning models and software frameworks have been proposed. However, it is still very difficult to process deep learning tasks efficiently on traditional high performance computing (HPC) systems with specialized architectures such as Sunway TaihuLight. In this paper, we propose swFLOW: a TensorFlow-based dataflow deep learning framework on Sunway TaihuLight. Based on the performance analysis results on convolutional neural network (CNN), we optimize the convolution layer, reduce the data layout transpose operation and get 10.42x speedup compared to single management processing element (MPE) version. As for distributed training, we use elastic averaging stochastic gradient descent (EASGD) algorithm to reduce communication and use data prefetch to avoid data fetch being a performance bottleneck. On 512 processes, we get a parallel efficiency of 81.01% with communication period τ = 8. Limited by the maximal executable batch size, the current performance of swFLOW is far from optimal. It is very necessary to further optimize using technology like remote direct memory access (RDMA) and model parallelism. © 2019 IEEE.
