The occurrence of fire should be reported by a fire alarm at the earliest. With the advent of convolutional neural networks, this has become more reliable and advanced. The detection of fire conditions as early as possible is a prerequisite of a Fire Detection System, and to give sufficient time for effective counter actions by Automated Fire personnel. Fire detection and forecast by conventional fire detection systems was achieved by using the by-products of fire such as smoke, temperature and flame which take a considerable amount of time to produce a level of fire which will trigger the smoke sensors and heat sensors. In this project, the proposed system is building a deep learning solution using convolutional neural networks. The proposed system is fine-tuned to stabilize the efficiency and accuracy by keeping in mind the nature of the target problem and fire data. The effectiveness of the proposed system is revealed and validated by the experimental results on benchmark fire datasets. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2025.

This study analyzes the impact of smart work experience on WLB in the public sector. The 2016 public service perception survey data from the Korean Institute Public Administration (KIPA) was used. We performed descriptive statistics analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, and multiple regression analysis for the analysis of this study. As a result of the analysis, it was found that the use of smart work had a significant effect (+) on WLB. In addition, in terms of work, work autonomy, work environment, and work resources have a positive effect. In terms of organizational environment, it was found to have a positive influence on rational organizational culture and leadership. In order to improve WLB in the public sector, it is necessary to secure sufficient work autonomy, work environment, and work resources, and in terms of the organizational environment, it is necessary to support a rational organizational culture and leadership.

In recent years, hybrid system using different kinds of input data into a unified model become an interesting research. According to it, traditional rating data (user x item) can be re-structured by setting additional dimensions (mood, time, user's location...of textual data). Meanwhile, Vietnamese sentiment analysis problem is also restricted by non-expansion feature of data input. stem from these issues, this research proposed a featured combine model by integrating matrix factorization in collaborative filtering and sentiment analysis in text mining to predict rating user. With experimental results, the author proves that proposed model achieve better results in accuracy and is feasible to develop as the future direction research.

Industry 4.0 which a characteristic feature is disappearance of the barrier between humans and machines, the use of cloud computing and the dissemination of so-called 'Internet of Things' (IoT) enables global access to data and machines. An important pillar of Industry 4.0 is 'machine intelligence', which implies the autonomy of production processes, which can also include the organization of production and response to changes or prediction of the damages in demand for a product with specific parameters. This paper presents an intelligent diagnostic system, which is dedicated for implementation in Industry 4.0 ecosystem. The main feature of this solution is the Cloud communication enables Cloud computing of the predictive maintenance algorithms for the health monitoring of the construction under examination. © 2020 IEEE.

This work studies the characteristics of the 3-dimensional (3D) pseudolinear Kalman filter (PLKF) proposed in the previous work [1] for angle-of-arrival (AOA) target tracking in the 3D space. The previous two-step 3D PLKF contains an xy-PLKF and a z-PLKF. This paper develops a one-step PLKF algorithm, which has low computational complexity. The estimation performance analysis of these two different PLKFs is provided. The one-step PLKF sacrifices the estimation accuracy to acquire a low computational complexity. In the distributed target tracking problem, the one-step PLKF can save a lot of communication costs compared with the two-step one. Furthermore, the stability of two PLKFs are also been simply proven. Simulation examples verify the effectiveness of the proposed one-step 3D PLKF to track an invasive target. Besides, the difference between the two PLKFs based on the theoretical analysis is also demonstrated by the simulation examples. © 2021 IEEE.

In the 21st century, the relationship between computer technology and education is becoming more and more rigid, and its influence is getting bigger and bigger. The traditional single teaching mode in English education will cause problems such as low learning interest and unsatisfying individual needs. In order to make up for the shortcomings brought by the traditional teaching model of single professors, blended teaching (BT), that is, a teaching form that combines classroom face-to-face instruction and online learning, has developed rapidly in the field of English education. Therefore, this article will launch a research on the design of a BT system for English education based on computer software. This article designs the structure of the English education BT system, including the presentation layer, the intermediate business layer, and the database layer, and introduces the technical application and operation mode of each layer of the structure. This article designs the functions of the English education BT system in detail from the perspectives of students, teachers, and administrators, and uses genetic algorithms to develop sub-function modules for intelligent English education arranging courses. Finally, the system test shows that when the concurrent number is 50, 80, 100, 200, 300, the CPU usage of the English education mixed system is 17.4%, 20.1 %, 26.4%, 30.7%, 44.6%; memory usage The rates are 16.3%, 20.9%, 22.4%, 27.9%, 37.2%. This shows that the CPU usage and memory usage increase with the increase in concurrency, but the system can run stably and smoothly.

With ever- increasing Electronic Health Records (EHRs), the handling of sensitive patient information has been a concern in the healthcare industry. Proper storage and privacy measures are crucial for handling the Electronic Health Records (EHRs). Identity- thefts, data stealing and authentication breaches are some of the major shortcomings in today’s digital world. Additionally, the threat of a single point of failure also comes to light over the existing centralized systems. To address these issues, secure and reliable systems like Blockchain offers a potential solution. Hence, in order to store, access, manage and secure the Electronic Health Records (EHRs), Ethereum Blockchain is used along with the Merkel tree which helps for effective storage and safe authentication of huge amounts of information. It also helps in examining the verifiability of the patient records which is stored on the distributed ledger i.e., Ethereum. In this paper, we consider a streaming model of maximizing monotone lattice submodular function with a cardinality constraint on the integer lattice. As (lattice) submodularity does not imply the diminishing return property on the integer lattice, we introduce the Sieve-streaming algorithm combining with a modified binary search subroutine to solve the problem. We also show it is with an approximation ratio 1 / 2 - ϵ, a memory complexity O(ϵ- 1klog k), and a query complexity O(ϵ- 2log2k) per element. © 2021, Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

Robotics Cognitive Architectures (RCA) are becoming a key element in the design of robots that need to be aware of its surrounding space and of their role in it. This is especially important for robots that interact with people in household, eldercare or industrial collaborative scenarios. We have proposed in earlier works an RCA called CORTEX designed for social robots operating in HRI environments. One of CORTEX’s main elements is a working memory designed as a graph-like data structure that is accessed by all the computational modules in charge of some relevant function in the system. Our current implementation is based on the concept of a real-time database, where one of the modules stores, receives and publishes changes to all modules. In this paper, we propose a new design of this element based on the Conflict-free distributed Replicated Data Types (CRDT) theory of distributed data types. With the outstanding development of the information and communication technology industry, the Internet of Things (Internet of Things) has become an outstanding trend all over the world. Internet of Things can completely change the way people live in the future because of its applications. Smart home is a recent application of the Internet of Things with the aim of improving the quality of life for everyone. Besides the attractive potentials, the adoption of Smart home in general as well as smart home devices in particular has not yet been widely accessed to the mass market. This article proposes a research model to investigate the intention of using Smart home devices of consumers living and working in Danang city based on technology acceptance model. The study is based on 287 samples collected from Danang residents since November 2019, based on quantitative analysis by soft SPSS and AMOS.
