The emergence of malicious codes has increased exponentially due to the spread of malicious code creation tools with the development of the network, but there are limitations in response through the existing malicious code detection methods. In accordance with this situation, machine learning-based malicious code detection methods are developing, and in this paper, features are extracted by statically analyzing PE files for machine learning-based malicious code detection, and then malicious codes are detected through autoencoder. Research on how to extract features that represent better features is underway. This paper extracts 549 features consisting of information such as DLL/API that can be checked from PE files that are commonly used in malicious code analysis and compresses the data by storing data through SAE (stacked AutoEncoder) among autoencoders. Was extracted to prove that it is very effective in providing excellent accuracy and shortening processing time.

With the growing deployment of Internet of Things (IoT) devices in diverse domains, malware authors have started using these devices as attack vectors for distributed attacks targeting critical computing infrastructures. Since IoT devices are highly resource-constrained, traditional malware analysis techniques are usually ineffective to mitigate new and unknown malware threats. In this paper, we propose a novel, fast, and resource-efficient malware detection methodology that makes use of machine learning and focuses on detecting zero-day malware targeting Linux OS. Our approach extracts static features from the Linux Executable and Linkable Format (ELF) executables and applies the chi-square feature selection technique to reduce the number of features, without impacting the overall accuracy. We have evaluated our approach using 7 machine learning models including J48, JRip, PART, Random Forest, Naive Bayes, Logistic, and RIDOR. Compared to other state-of-the-art works, time taken to train these models was very less. The experimental results show that our proposed methodology can achieve an accuracy of more than 99% with less than 0.1% false positive and false negative rate.

In the present scenario, increasing traffic volume is a prime concern worldwide. Many urban areas suffer from acute traffic congestion due to various reasons like insufficient road capacity, etc. Congestions adversely affect major sectors like economy, environment, and health. Smart solutions to this timely topical problem may be provided by using intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) technologies. ITS urban traffic management mostly deals with the collection and processing of a huge amount of geographically distributed information to manage distributed infrastructure and components of road traffic. Due to the distributed aspect of the problem, there is a need to develop a novel, scalable Cloud-based ITS platform. The Cloud-based ITS hosts the collection of software services which leads to the development of the Cloud-based Traffic Management System (CTMS). In this paper, we did a survey on distinct aspects of CTMS such as adaptive intersection control algorithm integrated with microscopic prediction mechanism and microscopic traffic simulation tool tightly integrated with the ITS-cloud. © 2021, Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

We consider strongly NP-hard problem of two-machine task scheduling with due dates and minimizing of the total weighted tardiness. Task execution times are random variables. We propose methods of intermediate review of solutions, the so-called ‘block properties’, which we use in the tabu search algorithm. Density-based clustering plays a crucial role in various applications and realizes clusters with arbitrary contour. In case of huge amount of data generation, the clustering analysis plays an important role in big data mining. But no universal clustering algorithm is available to solve all problems universally. Usually, the algorithms were designed as per requirement which was based on certain assumptions. This paper focuses on attempts to remove noise parameter from existing algorithm and propose an Enhanced Shuffling DBSCAN (ESDBSCAN) algorithm which outperforms on legacy DBSCAN. ESDBSCAN is better than any other modified version of DBSCAN which gives better performance in terms of run time complexity, when runs in a distributed environment. The paper proposes a proficient and enhanced distributed clustering algorithm using existing data partition on Map-Reduce platform. The ESDBSCAN algorithm has minimum training error and faster than the existing algorithm. © 2021, Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Large-scale graphs have become prevalent with the advent of the big data era. distributed graph computing systems are commonly used for processing and analyzing large-scale graphs, with graph partitioning being a key prerequisite for their efficient computation. Graph partitioning aims to balance the load across partitions while minimizing the number of cut-edges. Moreover, it should achieve high efficiency and scalability. However, the existing popular graph partitioning algorithms do not fully take into account the internal topology of real-world graphs, which affects the final partition quality and convergence. Meanwhile, they easily fall into the local optimum due to partition load constraints. This paper introduces a Novel Optimized Balanced Graph Partitioning algorithm (NOBGP). First, we propose an initialization strategy based on label propagation of core vertices to achieve initial partitions with good locality and accelerate convergence. Second, we optimize the label propagation process to ensure balanced partitions and propose a probability-based disruption strategy to avoid the local optimum. We implement NOBGP on the distributed graph computing framework GraphX. Extensive experimental results on real-world graphs show that the proposed algorithm is scalable and performs better than the existing algorithms. We also run PageRank and Louvain applications using the graph partitioning results to demonstrate the efficiency of our algorithm. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2025.

A design of the Computer Supported Collaborative Learning (CSCL) represents a big challenge from an informatics point of view. In general, any computer support of teaching requires existing didactic algorithms for design of the informatics algorithms and writing programming codes. In comparison with technical processes, which are well-standardized, due to the complexity of teaching processes, such algorithms are missing. Moreover, the computer support of collaborative activities requires using the virtual spaces of servers, networks and clouds. Additionally, the lifetime of software and hardware is too short for supporting long-life learning. Contextually, a complex, didactic-technology approach is not researched enough within the fields such as technology-enhanced learning (TEL) or educational technology. This paper presents the authors' didactic-informatics approach related to these challenges. It is based on developing the in-house education-specific software, knowledge representation, personalized IT infrastructure, and a specific way of solving the knowledge transmission between off-line and online environments to support collaborative activities of teachers and researchers. This complex personalized approach seems to be beyond the state-of-the-art (e.g., a utility model is used).

Architectural design, as a kind of art, itself has a strong innovation, and when it found computer animation science and technology to express more ideal and unique artistic effects, architectural performance technology has made rapid progress in the development. As an important means of architectural expression, the virtual technology of architectural animation provides a new digital mode for the promotion of architectural image. Architectural animation virtual 3D film with its unique form of expression to establish a highly technical, humanized virtual space, has become a popular new technology field in the 21st century. The purpose of this paper is to study the application of architectural roaming animation based on VR technology. Based on the background and significance of the application of virtual reality technology in the construction industry, this paper briefly describes the definition of virtual reality, and then introduces two technologies of virtual reality collision detection and automatic pathfinding. Finally, Unity3D and C++ are used to design and implement the building roaming system. Through testing the system’s automatic pathfinding performance under different terminals, the pathfinding time on the computer end is the shortest, less than 100 ms. © 2021, The Editor(s) (if applicable) and The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

Microcomputers and medical devices with signal transceivers that operate on a specific radio display constitute the backbone of wireless sensor networks (WS Ns) that monitor environmental conditions (temperature, pressure, light, vibration levels, location). It is widely used in WAN sensor networks because of its flexible design and low setup fees. The u200b touch network allows for the connection of up to 65,000 devices, while the intelligent sensors on other wireless networks are used to transfer data ports and assign wireless networks. Since the price of wireless solutions has been decreasing, and their functional capabilities have been growing, they are gradually replacing wired ones in telemetry data gathering systems and long- distance detecting communication. A deep learning model was used in this investigation to prevent the sensor nodes from manipulating data. Sensor nodes include a lot of parameters and estimations. If these projected data values are altered, network performance will suffer, and the node's lifetime will be reduced. Data security became a priority when the sensor nodes were distributed. This new method is 98.82% more efficient than the previous one.
