A paramedic is a person performing a medical profession, authorised to provide health services in health care institutions, in particular to provide health services in a situation of direct, sudden threat to life or health. Scientific publications indicate a high rate of injuries among medical personnel while working in ambulances as well as difficulties in performing medical procedures due to the lack of unification of equipment in different ambulances. The problem of mismatch between the spatial structure of medical compartment in ambulances to the needs of rescuers and the methodology of its assessment is presented in the paper. © 2020, Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

The paper presents an original solution for the intelligent control of the temperature in a rotary hearth furnace. The controlled heating process is approached as a distributed parameter one. The process dynamics in relation to time is identified based on experimental data obtained from the real plant. For the appropriate temperature control in the furnace, an advanced control system based on intelligent control is designed. The neural networks are used both to adapt the parameters of the main controller and to estimate the values of the disturbances, respectively of the faults which occur in the system. The designed control system can reject the effect of the faults which occur in the furnace operation, being a fault tolerant one. The estimation of the fault value is made by neural networks, based on the model of the spatial temperature distribution between the furnace sectors. The efficiency of the proposed control system is proved through simulation.

The number of ontologies used for different purposes, such as data integration, information retrieval or search optimization, is constantly increasing. Therefore, it is crucial that ontologies can be developed and explored in an easy way by humans, and are accessible by intelligent agents. To this end, we created VoColReg on top of the VoCol platform. VoColReg provides an integrated registry that hosts VoCol instances, allowing the community to access, browse, reuse, and improve ontologies in a collaborative fashion. VoColReg integrates several improved features, such as syntax validation realized by RIM Doctor, which is able to simultaneously identify a comprehensive list of syntax errors and automatically correct a subset of them. Currently, the VoColReg platform hosts more than 21 ontologies from various domains, where nine of them are publicly available. We analyzed those nine ontologies to discover different facts about them such as hosting platforms used, expressivity of the ontologies, number of triples and modules.

One of the solutions to artificial intelligence is machine learning. It enables us to create machines that can learn from experience rather than be programmed explicitly. Current formulations of machine learning are mostly designed with the help of data available for learning and performing specific tasks from neural networks. Deep learning is an effective machine learning approach that can solve multiple and specific tasks with mini mother change. Deep learning extends machine learning to multi-level distributed representations with the necessary mapping functions into a single composite function, and in particular neural networks. Along with their capability to learn dynamic hierarchical representations, the advent of deep learning and neural networks has opened up the way for continuous training. Humans start their day by looking in the mirror at least once before leaving their homes every morning. In addition, they waste some considerable time of their busy workload in front of the mirror. To make this time more productive and useful, there ought to be a system that can be readily conducted, user-friendly, and smart according to the constant progress on the Internet of Things. The intelligent mirror is a new addition to the smart device family, which is a straightforward concept. There will be a screen placed behind a two-way mirror, and this intelligent Mirror turns our room or bathroom mirror into a personal assistant with artificial intelligence. The purpose is to develop a smart mirror that can automate working humans' busy daily routines and manage their tasks when they spend their time in front of a mirror. To make the most of this moment, users can securely access all the relevant details of the day by looking in the mirror simultaneously. The intelligent mirror, which a single voice command can activate, will significantly help disabled persons and the general. Raspberry Pi has been used to build the proposed intelligent mirror, linked to the digital world via the Internet. The mirror can communicate with the user through voice commands and reply appropriately. The monitoring of emotions and health measuring function will provide a distinctive experience to the users. The mirror will reflect important elements such as weather, date & time, covid-19 situation reports, local news, To-do list, water reminder, home workouts, and meal plans. The mirror can also handle specialized functions such as automating and controlling home IoT devices.

Interconnection networks have been extensively studied in the field of parallel computer systems. In the interconnection network, completely independent spanning tree (CIsts) plays an important role in the reliable transmission, parallel transmission, and safe distribution of information. Two spanning trees T1 and T2 of graph G are completely independent if, for any two distinct vertices u and v of G, the two paths from u to v on T1 and T2 are internally disjoint. The spanning trees T1, T2, …, Tk of G are completely independent spanning trees if they are pairwise completely independent. In 2015, Hasunuma proof that G has ⌊n(G)k⌋ CIsts if δ(G) ≥ n(G) - k, 3≤k≤n(G)2 and n(G) ≥ 7. In this paper, we prove that G has ⌊5n(G)12⌋ CIsts if δ(G) ≥ n(G) - 2 and n(G) ≥ 12, and G has (t+ 1 ) -CIsts if δ(G) ≥ n(G) - 3 and n(G) = 3 t- 2 ≥ 23. © 2021, Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

The objective of this paper is to contribute to the improvement of distance education in medicine by offering a platform for practical work. To do this, we combine the intelligence of WoT with the power of WebRTC. This platform, based on the WebRTC Kurento multimedia server and the Web of Things (WoT), allows teachers and students to do remote labs. Kurento Media Server (KMS) allows you to create media processing applications based on the pipeline concept. The Web of Things (WoT), considered a subset of the Internet of Things (IoT), focuses on standards and software frameworks such as REst, HTTP and URI to create applications and services that combine and interact with a variety of network devices. To prove the relevance of our approach, we described a scenario where the teacher initiates a medical consultation TP with any patient on which sensors are placed. Patient data is visible in real time for all students who follow the teacher's comments/explanations and also interact. However, our experimental results may be relevant for other stEM disciplines.
