During the digital transformation and digitalisation period, the transformation of the entire education system can be observed, which focuses on new, collaborative and technology-based learning, which makes the application of its effective learning environment increasingly visible. In this type of modern educational environment, with the expansion of the information and digital society, and with the development of new community learning spaces, we can continuously improve our professional competencies. Meanwhile, the informal learning and peer-to-pear learning, is gaining more and more prominence. On the one hand, our research is based on case studies, shared experiences of the teacher candidates in our institution, and on the basis of qualitative structured interviews with the students concerned. The authors would like to use the conclusions drawn from these in the curriculum development and content renewal of mentor teachers and teacher candidates.

Malicious traffic detection is a pivotal component in ensuring network security. Currently, deep learning-based malicious traffic detection methods have become mainstream. However, these studies lack comprehensive attention to the structural features of traffic and the time delay information between data packets. To address these issues, we propose a new malicious traffic detection model MTD-RTPE, which is built upon relative time-delay positional encoding and multi-head self-attention mechanisms. By analyzing the hierarchical structure of traffic, we integrated certain natural language processing (NLP) techniques into our method. We designed a relative time-delay positional encoding module to embed the relative time delay information between traffic data packets into the positional encoding. Leveraging multi-head self-attention, we extracted spatio-temporal features, which significantly enhanced our model’s ability to detect malicious traffic and improved its generalization capability. Based on experiments conducted on the USTC-TFC2016, CTU-Malware&Normal, and ISOT public datasets, the proposed model demonstrates commendable performance in terms of accuracy and handling imbalanced dataset testing.

The study of indoor localization technology using smart phone has been continuously studied. Fingerprinting is a representative indoor positioning technology. This technology estimates the location by comparing Radio Signal Strength (RSS) information received in one-shot at a specific location with the previously constructed Radio Map. Since the RSS received in one-shot is used, the ability to discriminate signals according to space is low. To solve this problem, the use of RSS spatial patterns based on Pedestrian Dead Reckoning (PDR) improves signal discrimination according to space and increases accuracy. However, since PDR is used, there is a problem that it is difficult to use a spatial pattern if PDR distortion occurs due to a heading drift error and a change motion. We propose an indoor positioning technology using 1D Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) and Bi-directional Long Short Term Memory (BLSTM). We estimated the position by learning the 1D RSS pattern. In order to generate a large amount of data, we used the pre-built Radio Map. We use a model that combines 1D CNN and BLSTM. 1D CNN is used to extract RSS patterns, and BLSTM is used to learn the relationship of sequential data in both directions. Through this, it is possible to estimate the position using only the RSS. To verify the proposed technology, we compared it with the previous technology. As a result, the previous technology showed 2.19m error and the proposed technology showed 4.663m error. However, the calculation speed is 30 times faster than the proposed technology. It was confirmed that indoor positioning technology using deep learning technology can provide position information with only 1D RSS pattern.

The aims of this research were (1) to develop a combined Imagineering process and STEAM-GAAR Field learning model to create collaborative art innovation, (2) to evaluate the combined model, and (3) to study the results of implementing the model. The research process was therefore divided into 3 parts in accordance with these aims. The evaluation of the developed model was carried out by 6 experts in related fields and the implementation of the model was carried out by a sample of 32 students. Evaluation was measured on a 5-point Likert scale and implementation on a scoring rubric table from the data, arithmetic means and standard deviations were calculated. The results showed that: (1) the model consists of 4 elements;Input Factors, Process of Imagineering and STEAM-GAAR Field learning Model, Evaluation of Collaborative Art Innovation, and Analysis Feedback;(2) the model was evaluated as highly appropriate ((x) over bar = 4.54, S.D. = 0.50);and (3) the quality of students' collaborative art innovation was rated as very good.

The extension of e-learning is unavoidable but the ways in which this is done differ. One new way is focused on changing the working relationship, more specifically, the teacher-learner relationship. The purpose of this paper is to detail technical elements and principles of a cybernetic training (CyTr) system that was developed and installed by the authors at *** and it is based on a method of learning by adaptive networking using a cybernetic trainer. The method assumes that students build problems that directly relate with their lack of knowledge regarding the topic. The built problems are further solved by students. The method continues with a ranking stage of problems opportunity, and a solutions usability stage. The stages are coordinated by a software that actively connects all the group students. The software monitors the learning activity, manages the database and evaluates automatically the students. The whole ensemble of CyTr brings a series of advantages to the school and to the learning activity, including a reduction of at least 40% on teacher's activity.

The research presents the development of virtual laboratory in measuring antenna radiation pattern based on the GUI of MATLAB software for applying in teaching of electrical engineering. The research development tools consist of an engineering laboratory package, an antenna radiation pattern measurement set, a microcontroller of Arduino UNO-R3, and a peak detector board in sensing intensity electromagnetic field and a simulation program using GUI of MATLAB. The research results presented the performance in the development of antenna radiation measurement set, the efficient GUI based on the virtual laboratory set, the efficient evaluation of engineering laboratory package by implementing with a sampling group of the undergraduate engineering students. It can be seen that the engineering laboratory package of antenna radiation pattern measurement can encourage the students have higher learning achievement both in theory and practical skills following the 21st learning century.

Our practical experience of education has shown that the group activity-based PBL process requires the ability to express one's own ideas to others (communication skill), the ability to abstract problems and develop one's thoughts (computational thinking skill), and the ability to move ahead with tasks in a planned manner (skill to see the big picture of matters). Therefore, we gave our attention to digital storytelling as an activity that will sharpen these three skills and that lets a student complete assignments by himself or herself. In this paper we reports on classroom exercise into which digital storytelling activities were incorporated. According to a questionnaire survey conducted after the class, our education program received positive feedback from about 80% or more of the students who took the course.

Nowadays, the smart grid systems, which are intelligent electrical grid systems, are being installed in the real world. According to the statistics, about 79 million Advanced Metering Infrastructure is deployed in the United States and these devices generate terabytes to petabyte levels of electricity data. As IT technology developed, the energy provider can get beneficial information by processing the data in the way such as Machine learning or Deep learning. So smart grid administrator utilizes a data center to store the energy data and to process them. The amount of power data is increasing rapidly and the type of power data becoming more and more diverse. In addition, as computing power improves, a lot of advantageous applications such as blackout prediction is developed. In the smart grid, the importance of the data center becomes higher and higher. However, the traditional data center is designed in strict. Because the traditional data centers are designed by vendors, the operations of each component of centers are ineffective on the smart grid system. So in this paper, we applied the Software-Defined data Center, which controls the data center in a virtualized and programmable manner, to operate the data in a more flexible and interoperable way.

This research paper is aimed at identifying the efficiency and at demonstrating the need for using active learning methods within the andragogical paradigm. Active learning methods intensify students' thinking and are characterized by a high degree of interactivity, motivation, and emotional perception of learning process. Using active learning methods allows developing the cognitive and creative activities of students, enhancing the efficiency of learning process, and developing or assessing professional competences. This is exactly why the active forms of learning should be implemented in adult education to involve students in educational process as completely as possible and to activate the process of developing high-quality knowledge, including in the teaching person. Using active learning methods based on andragogical approach allows developing abilities in students, which the latter one would need later as graduates. Active learning processes also create conditions for developing critical thinking and demonstrating creativity.

This article focuses on international academic mobility in the context of internationalization of higher education. China is currently gaining popularity as a new active participant in this process. China's success stems from rapidly developing academic mobility. This paper discusses the prerequisites necessary for the development of academic mobility in China's higher education;defines current trends for its development in Chinese universities, characterizes the conditions for its implementation in engineering oriented universities and the perspectives of their use for other countries. It also presents mechanisms of developing intercultural competence as an indispensable condition for fostering academic mobility.
