Transcriptome prediction from genetic variation data is an important task in the privacy-preserving and biometrics field, which can better protect genomic data and achieve biometric recognition through transcriptome. Many transcriptome prediction methods have achieved good accuracy from genetic variation data. However, these traditional transcriptome prediction methods have the problems of linear assumption, overfitting, expose personal privacy, and extensive manual optimization. To solve these shortcomings, we propose an attention-based transcriptome prediction model from genetic variation named RATPM that improves the accuracy of transcriptome prediction and protects participant genomic data. In RATPM, we introduce and improve the deep learning model with multi-head self-attention into the transcriptome prediction stage of Predixcan, which uncovers the non-linear relationship between genetic variation and transcriptome. Moreover, we introduce a residual attention module to generate attention-aware features and extract more accurate features at different levels from genetic variation. Furthermore, we introduce the BERT pre-training module to encode genetic variation fully utilizing their contextual information. Our research enables scientific institutions to publish only predicted transcriptomic data for biometric purposes, thus protecting the genomic information of the subjects. Finally, we evaluated our model on the 1000 Genomes and Geuvadis projects datasets to compare with other baseline models.

Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) is most commonly accident injury in modern society. The deterioration of cognition and memory is a common phenomenon caused by TBI. Most of the basic experiments used rats for pathological research. Moreover, an eight-arm maze was often used to test the spatial learning behavior of brain diseases, such as Alzheimer’s disease and TBI. However, most of maze experimental data were collected in manual records. This process would take a lot of manpower and time. Therefore, the research built an automatic tracking trajectory system of the eight-arm maze to collect experiment data. Furthermore, the path trajectory of the rat can be recorded in time. Finally, these path trajectory data were used to analysis behavior feature of TBI animals. The results showed that TBI rats have a 40%~80% chance of having a trajectory to the right.

The objective of this article is to manage learning and teaching activities in promoting practical skills for industrial electronic education which put focus on crucial role and participation of learners in learning activities according STEAM education. The learning process consists of (1) search or determination, (2) experiment, (3) discussion and exchange, (4) conclusions and evaluation and (5) application. The research tools consist of teacher manuals, instructional media such as simulation program, laboratory set, computer media and evaluation form. After testing developed learning model in Power Electronics course with the sample group extracted from students of Chitralada Technology Institute, the authors found that developed learning model according to STEAM education encouraged students to participate in learning activities management. The learning model according to their proficiency and knowledge can promote students to practice professional skills, gain experience from team working. Moreover, students are satisfied with the activities promoting efficiently practical skills in technology education. The management of learning activities indeed help preparing the graduates equipped with competencies needed by industry sector.

In this paper, we propose to collaboratively learn and develop a training kit/material i.e., global positioning system (GPS) anti jamming using antenna array, for junior engineers of information and communication technology (ICT) and related fields. When a signal is transmitted from the GPS satellite, it can be jammed by various techniques in the space. Due to increased usage of GPS applications in daily life, it has been found that many ICT students are interested to learn and visualize its core functionality especially about the GPS anti jamming in their major communication courses. Although anti-jamming can be obtained by various techniques, using antenna array and RF couplers to achieve anti jamming is an interesting technique which we aim to explore in this paper as a part of collaborative learning and developing educational tool to be helpful for junior ICT students.

The Augmented Reality is currently considered one of the most promising emerging technologies;it has entered the educational process in an accelerated way as an innovative element that simplifies the interaction through mobile devices. This investigation analyzes an university innovation experience of Information Technology (IT) Docentship students, in the Human Sciences and Education Faculty of the Technical University of Ambato. It accomplishes the objective of designing learning objects enriched with Augmented Reality (AR), to measure the level of technological acceptance (TAM), the impact on academic performance, the proof of the training process and the production tools used. The results showed that the use of AR in university teaching has aroused a high degree of acceptance and motivation, an improvement in the academic performance and the advantages and disadvantages of the tools used for the production of objects enriched with Augmented Reality were determined.

This paper purposes to develop instructional package by using Problem-Based learning for power system transients in case study of Metropolitan Electricity Authority (MEA) which has developed the instructional package of problem-based learning for power system transients from the real problems in the power system by designing and creating instructional package such as teacher manuals which consist of activity plans, content paper, activities, tests, instruction media and program manuals, etc.. They are used for teaching and learning 4 units: basic of electrical power system, power system simulation, simulation program and case studies of power system transients which directed to 5 experts in order to assess the quality of the instructional package. It was found that the developed instructional package was appropriate extremely. After that, the experiment was conducted with a sample group of 30 undergraduate students enrolled in the power system analysis course, graduate technical education curriculum, electrical engineering, King Mongkut's University of Technology North Bangkok. The achievement of learners through the learning process with the instructional package by performance testing according to the Meguigans's standard criteria is equal to 1.09. In addition, the learners were satisfied at a high level.

The paper considers the application of innovative technology "flipped classroom" in foreign language teaching at Russain universities. The flipped classroom involves blended learning - a combination of face-to-face in-class learning and distance learning. The flipped classroom technology implies such organization of the educational process in which students attend face-to-face classes only after they have already gained some theoretical knowledge and understanding of the materials that will be discussed in the classroom. This new approach to teaching is caused by the increasing role of self-education within the framework of cultural competence of a modern specialist because the model lends itself to active learning. The advantages presented by the flipped classroom technology are the increasing time for the individual work with students, the opportunity to provide additional cultural knowledge through a careful selection of the learning content on the one hand, as well as developing of the student's ability to self-organization and self-education on the other. Online content, in its turn, allows time in class for problem solving and hands-on activities, converting the classroom into a place where active learning occurs.

The work is concerned with the adaptation of professional engineering training to the requirements of modern digital production. The analysis of the typical infrastructure of engineering education, ensuring the implementation of project-based methods of teaching in the conditions of smart education, is carried out. The structural-functional model for adaptation of engineering training to the requirements of production digitalization trends is considered in detail. The proposed approach is based on the implementation of the concept of an educational and industrial smart cluster. The conditions for broad professional training and mobility of the specialists are created through the "digital production - university" smart infrastructure. The result of the social responsibility of such cooperation of educational institutions and enterprises is the creation of a new type of infrastructure - an educational and industrial smart cluster.

The paper concerns the implementation of the project "Compiling and publishing bilingual learners' terminology glossaries for engineering universities of Kirghizstan" that was initiated by Moscow Automobile and Road Construction State Technical University (MADI) and supported by "Russian and Kirghiz Consortium of Technical Universities" and "Russkiy Mir" Foundation. The goal of the project was compiling five learners' Russian-Kirghiz and Kirghiz-Russian concise terminology glossaries "Transportation tunnels", "Automobile roads and infrastructure", "Automobile service", "Bridges", and "Customs". The glossaries are intended for engineering undergraduate, graduate and post graduate students, university educators and researchers of Kirghizstan. The paper describes the approach applied for compiling the glossaries, their structure and contents, the main stages of the project implementation. It also covers the linguistic problems revealed, the main results of the glossaries usage and the potential of the project.
