In this poster, we present a virtual car showroom. The use of virtual and augmented reality (VR/AR) becomes increasingly popular in various application domains, including prototyping, marketing and merchandising. In car industry, VR/AR systems enable rapid creation and evaluation of virtual prototypes by domain specialists as well as potential customers. In this work, we present a virtual car showroom implemented using the Unity game engine, an HMd and a gesture tracking system. The application enables immersive presentation and interaction with 3d cars in a virtual environment.

With a view to investigate, examine and analyze the performance of 3d medical image compression based on Autoencoder neural networks, a novel algorithm named autoimage reconstruct algorithm is developed, which is based on recent BAT bioinspired algorithm with a novel fitness function as Mean Square Error. It is observed that proposed algorithm outperforms existing algorithms like wavelet-based encoding anddecoding for image compression and reconstruction in terms of Mean Square Error, Peak Signal to Noise Ratio (PSNR) and Compression Ratio (CR).

In this paper a novel idea of estimating the 3d geometry and building material of indoor environments is proposed. The idea is based on assumption that the received radio signal is distorteddue to interaction with the surrounding objects and thus includes the signature of the radio environment. We describe the methodology how to apply radio environment signatures for characterization of geometry and building material of indoor environments applying machine learning tools using ray tracing simulations and ultra-wide band communication technology. The idea is based on the assumption that the emerging broadband wireless systems applies multiple antenna and is able to estimate the channel impulse response for each transmit-receive antenna pair.

The paper summarizes the experience with the development, production and optimization of 3d fabrics, specifically 3d weft knitted fabrics, planned for the integration of electronic components. Attention is focused on the presentation of 3d fabrics general properties which are given by their structure, used materials and finishing. The technological possibilities of preparation of this type of fabrics are summarized and their limits are described in detail and possible application areas are outlined. The possibilities of surface treatment from coating, lamination to printing or embossing are presented in order to optimize the fabric surface for a given application.
