Current 2d CAPTCHA mechanisms can be easily defeated by character recognition and segmentation attacks by automated machines [1]. Recently, 3d CAPTCHA schemes [2] have been proposed to overcome the weaknesses of 2d CAPTCHA for a few websites. However, [4] demonstrates the offline pre-processing techniques to break 3d CAPTCHA as well. In this work, we propose a novel 3d object based CAPTCHA scheme that projects the CAPTCHA image over a 3d object. We develop the prototype and present the proof-of-concept of 3d object based CAPTCHA scheme to protect websites against automated attacks.

In this paper labeling of connected component on 3d lattices based on cellular automata algorithm is presented. Concretely, implementation of a cellular automata based algorithm for labeling of 26-connected components in 3d binary lattices is presented. The implementation of the algorithm with its extensively evaluation on various test cases for different size of grids and percolation probabilities is given. The experiments are made in NetLogo programming environment.

We propose a novel unsupervised machine learning approach for effective semantic labeling by combining two different multi -class classifications, structural and contextual classification, of points in airborne LidAR point cloud of urban environment. Structural classification labels a point in the cloud as a point-, line-, or surface -type feature. An additional outcome of this classification is the geometry preserving downsampling of the point cloud. The contextual classification, on the other hand, labels the points in four classes, namely, buildings, vegetation, natural ground, and asphalt ground, by using data derived from the raw input, which includes the structural classification. Preserving these two classifications in the labeling of the points gives a geometry -aware contextual semantic labeling. We propose: (a) an augmented semantic classification which preserves both structural and contextual classification, (b) an interactive hierarchical clustering method for contextual classification, and (c) an interactive visual analytic framework to aid both the structural and contextual classifications.

In this paper authors give the definition of the virtual tourism, identify the problem of transforming sociocultural activities anddescribe development of new forms of communication within the framework of the museum tourist activities, reflecting current trends in social evolution. Problems of the influence of globalization and the informatization of society on the development of museum activities are also analyzed. Virtual 3d model of the Kotor Maritime Museum is shown as an example of a new communicative form, where a virtual tour is considered as a form of the effective organization of a museum activity process in the tourist practice of the museum.

VR and AR have the potential to become a standard tool in education and could revolutionise the teaching and learning (T&L) process via interaction with learning objects in 3d environments.
