Virtual try-on is a technology that allows people to virtually check the appearance of accessories, makeup, hairstyle, hair color, clothes and potentially more on themselves. The virtual try-on presents many advantages over real try-on, it speeds up the process providing the possibility to test hundreds of products without the need to reach a physical store. In this paper we propose a virtual try-on web application specific for eyeglasses and sunglasses that can be easily used by simply taking a picture of a face and selecting the desired frames. The try-on process is performed on a 3d face reconstructed from the input image allowing the user to see the virtual face and glasses from different viewpoints. The try-on process is fully automated anddoes not require the user to provide anything else but the picture and selection of the glasses frames to test.

technology scaling clearly has been the driver of semiconductor and thereby EdA industry In the semiconductor industry today, 45nm CMOS designs are in full production and 32nm design rules and infrastructure are already in place for designs starting later this year It will not be long before the beat of 22nm will be upon us due to ever increasing cost of doing design, design productivity and more specifically, cost of design has become a major bottleneck in large scale design projects due to this cost crunch, automated synthesis techniques have been becoming increasingly important and this is bound to become a major trend going into 22nm for high performance SoCs In addition, in 22nm and beyond, 3d IC technology has the potential of easing the system performance challenge problem In order to exploit the full potential of 3dtechnology, new challenges in the area of physical design, thermal analysis, system level design and analysis need to be addressed3d interconnects have the potential of reducing critical paths delays significantly, which are typically between memory and the interfacing logic In addition, now that the physical limits are beginning to impact scaling, the question is how can we cost effectively design with complicatedtechnology requirements presented by 22nm node and how the design automation community can help to achieve this goal? What are the challenges at 22nm and what woulddesign look like going into 22nm and beyond? In this paper, we will focus on the major design and CAd challenges associated with 22nm and beyond

Sharkzor is a web-based user interface for user defined image classification. We present here a human in the loop system with interactions focusing on 3 main user tasks. The user triages a number of images by organizing them into arbitrary groups with few examples. Sharkzor's sophisticated few-shot learning back end then approximates the user's mental model and automates organization of the entire dataset.

Printing 3d objects is exciting and engaging for young learners. However, how can this emerging technology benefit the development of skills, such as Computational Thinking (CT) anddesign Thinking (dT), through a meaningful process of imagining, designing and tinkering with objects that could be used in real-world problems? Our knowledge is still limited, due to the complexity of designing 3d printable models from scratch with the existing digital tools. This paper discusses a web-based tool that enables learners to create anddynamically manipulate the behavior and properties of 3d printable models with high-level programming. This design aims to foster computational thinking, creativity, anddesign thinking skills as it focuses on the design process of the model, its behavior and its usage after printing. It also presents the results of a pilot study in which secondary school students engaged in a design Thinking project for designing and printing sustainable everyday objects using this design. The study revealed new kinds of educational potential of 3d printing including the understanding of complex mathematical and CT ideas that were too complicated before, and the connection of CT practices with real-world problems through the implementation of a design Thinking project with digital media.

In order to improve display effect and analysis anddecision ability of marine geology information, the Marine Geology 3d Geographic Information System is established based on Skyline software and Visual studio. NET development platform. It is a webGIS application platform, builds submarine 3d scene by using the satellite image and marine geology survey data, provides 3d scene roaming, attribute query, submarine terrain browsing, sea level rise simulation, coastline change simulation, mineral resources evaluation and other functions, provides service for marine geology survey, development, management, anddecision making. This paper mainly introduces the design of system framework, data preparation, and function realization for the purpose of discussing the design and realization of 3dwebGIS based on Skyline.

In this paper, we present the design and implementation of a VRML97 multi-user layer, which is introduced in the EVE distributed virtual reality platform. Main consideration of our multi-user extension is the ease of transforming single-user virtual worlds to multi-user virtual worlds, as well as the conformity with any standard VRML97 browser. Furthermore, we present the EVE's communication plaform, which can be used in order to support Collaborative Virtual Environments (CVEs). Main issues regarding the effective network communication as well as the initialization of the 3d scene are discussed in this paper.

The great circle route and rhumb line are two important spherical curves. The characteristic of the former curve could be best understood on a sphere, while the characteristic of the latter is fully expressed on a projected map, which is Mercator's projection. This paper utilized electronic map APIs andweb3d techniques to provide an interactive webpage to display 2d and3d views. A projected Mercator world map is displayed in 2d view, and a virtual globe is displayed in 3d view. The great circle route and rhumb line are visually compared in multi-dimensional environment. The technique demonstrated in this paper provides a convenient way to understand the great circle route and rhumb line, and is especially useful in education.

The use of 360 degrees videos has been increasing steadily in the 2010s, as content creators and users search for more immersive experiences. The freedom to choose where to look at during the video may hinder the overall experience instead of enhancing it, as there is no guarantee that the user will focus on relevant sections of the scene. Visual annotations superimposed on the video, such as text boxes or arrow icons, can help guide the user through the narrative of the video while maintaining freedom of movement. This paper presents a web-based immersive visualizer for 360. videos that contain dynamic media annotations, rendered in real-time. A set of annotations was created with the purpose of providing information or guiding the user to points of interest. The visualizer can be used with a computer, using a keyboard and mouse or HTC Vive, and in mobile devices with Cardboard VR headsets, to experience the video in virtual reality, which is made possible with the webVR API. The visualizer was evaluated through usability tests, to analyze the impact of different annotation techniques on the users' experience. The obtained results demonstrate that annotations can assist in guiding the user during the video, and a careful design is imperative so that they are not intrusive anddistracting for the viewers.

In this paper two types of miniaturized3d-printed, waveguide antennas been designed, simulated and measured. Several pieces of antennas have been manufactured to investigate the impact of dimensions inaccuracy of 3d-printing technology on return loss parameter. In order to reduce the impact of dimensions spread anddifferences in a printed material permittivity a tuning process in a dielectric-filled antenna is proposed.

Understanding Astronomy involves the perception of 3d phenomena, most often too small or too vast to be easily interpreted or visualized. This research aims to develop and evaluate an Augmented Reality application prototype for learning 3d Astronomy concepts and phenomena in middle school. Relating the technology impact with the educational experience, this work evaluates the usability, in a real classroom context, of a developed prototype. The results revealed a high degree of acceptance and satisfaction among the students.
