Ping-pong is a very popular physical game all over the world. People need to play it in some fixed physical locations. Based on Augmented Reality (AR) technology, we provide a more interesting and convenient way for people to play ping-pong game on smartphones. In this paper, we propose an Augmented Reality 3d Ping-Pong game system (ARPP) for two players on Android platform through Wi-Fi direct. The game is rendered when two players aim their phones' camera at a specific marker. The players can view the virtual table tennis scenario through the screen of their smartphones. They move their phones to control paddles to play ping-pong game. The experiment results show that the proposed game system can work effectively and provide winner results on two Android mobile devices.

Plotters are simple mechatronic systems with two degrees of freedom in the XY plane. Not only the pen plotters, but also cutting plotters, die-cut machines, welding machines or 3d printers use the same basic architecture. We consider planar plotter as a device with finite set of discrete achievable points. In our paper we present a control algorithm based on an integer arithmetics only. This not only speeds-up the calculations, but also avoids a rounding error and its accumulation. Comparing to the drawing interpolation methods already known for systems without additional dynamics, e.g. computer monitors, we consider also the inertia of the moving parts. dynamics of the system is part of the control algorithm. Moreover, we present the optimal control of both axes with stepper motors in open loop system with respect to the technological limitations.

In particular driven by today's game console technology, the number of 3d interaction techniques that integrate multiple modalities is steadily increasing. However, many developers do not fully explore anddeploy the sensorimotor possibilities of the human body, partly because of methodological and knowledge limitations. In this paper, we propose a design approach for 3d interaction techniques, which considers the full potential of the human body. We show how "human potential" can be analyzed and how such analysis can be instrumental in designing new or alternative multi-sensory and potentially full body interfaces.

Our project is based on our proposed haptic primary color theory, and our aim is to construct an intelligent information environment that is both visible and tangible, and integrates real-space communication, a human-machine interface, and media processing. We have succeeded in transmitting fine haptic sensations such as material texture and temperature from an avatar robot's fingers to a human user's fingers. The avatar robot is a telexistence anthropomorphic robot dubbed TELESAR V with body and limbs having 53degrees of freedom. This robot can transmit visual and auditory sensations of presence to human users, in addition to haptic sensations. Other results of this research project include RePro3d, a full-parallax, autostereoscopic 3d (three-dimensional) display with haptic feedback using RPT (retroreflective projection technology);TECHTILE Toolkit, a prototyping tool for the design and education of haptic media;and Haptic Editor, an interactive editing system for creating haptic-enabled3d content.

However, the characteristics of the European Textiles and Clothing industry, that forces the design and manufacture of several Ready-to-wear collections each season, reduces the benefit of the laser technologydue to the need of a continuous parameterization and reprogramming of the different clothing patterns.
