In this work, we designed a micro-hotplate for MEMS gas sensor wafer level packaging. It changes the current package structure. we built a thermal- electromechanical-mechanical simulation model. Based on this model, we compared Oxide-Nitride-Oxide (ONO) supporting layers and finally chose ONO due to the balanced thermal and mechanical performances. the micro-hotplate was fabricated by MEMS process. After testing, the performance of micro- hotplate samples meets the design requirements. the optimized micro-hotplate with wafer level packaging not only has the advantages of low power consumption, but also realizes the high-density integration of multiple independent temperature- controlled micro hotplates, which is expected to be widely used in the future, especially for Micro-electromechanical systems (MEMS) gas sensor.

Traditional computer networks provide a best-effort packet delivery service. Packets may be lost or delayed due to network congestion or security threats. Deterministic Networking (DetNet) aims to provide consistent and predictable delivery of data packets in real-time with extremely low data loss rates, bounded latency and jitter. Deploying DetNet in a standard IP based network presents multiple technical challenges and security concerns [1]. this paper presents a security solution that ensures the authentication and integrity protection for the DetNet data plane. We have implemented using the Data Plane Development Kit (DPDK) an efficient computation of the DetNetAuth header - a simplified version of the Authentication header [2] - that will be added after the layer 3 headers. the DetNetAuth header computation process is significantly accelerated compared to the state of the art IPSec Authentication Header (IPSec AH). the optimization technique involves pre-computing intermediate results for the HMAC function and the utilization of solely the layer 3 headers and the secret key for the HMAC computation. Our implementation can be used in networks where deterministic flows are desired, as it provides protection to a wide range of attacks: Replication-related (header manipulation), Spoofing and Replay attacks.

Considering the pressure of communication facilities, the difference in willingness to participate, privacy protection, and other factors, a temperature control load demand response control strategy based on signal broadcasting considering the difference in user willingness is proposed. the control strategy is divided into the aggregator side and the local temperature control load unit side and its response index are sent by the aggregator to all temperature control load units in the form of signal broadcasting. In this control strategy, considering the variety of temperature control load units and different temperature control intervals, a universal temperature normalization value is established. the user participation willingness coefficient is introduced, and the expression of the actual participation probability of the temperature control load is constructed. According to the comparison result withthe random number, whether to start or stop the temperature control component is selected. Finally, the overall application flow of temperature control load demand response is designed, and the effectiveness of the strategy is verified by MATLAB simulation.

the rise of mobile devices has revolutionized the way we interact with technology, enabling us to carry powerful computing devices in our pockets. However, withthe increasing amount of sensitive information stored on these devices, trust has become a crucial factor in mobile security. Fingerprinting, which utilizes sensors embedded in mobile devices to recognize the unique characteristics of the user, has emerged as a promising approach to enhancing trust in mobile devices. Rapid response capability is crucial for the structure of a Peer-to-Peer system, as the nodes within the network have the flexibility to enter or exit at any moment without prior notification. this paper presents a novel approach to trust and reputation of mobile devices that use sensor fingerprinting techniques. Our approach uniquely identifies the nodes in a Peer-to-Peer network based on a spherical overlay such as TSPeer. We also discuss the challenges and limitations of this approach and evaluate it through simulation with real-life data sets.

the aim of this paper is to deliver an overview of the present global context about the quality of life and provide key insights about choosing a place to live. Housing affordability and quality of life have become emergently important issues, with a growing concern about global inequality. this paper aims to provide a comprehensive analysis of the global quality of life by examining the relationship between housing affordability, life quality indexes, and the global socio-economic landscape. Data from multiple trusted sources was analyzed and collected, including the WorldBank, UnitedNations, and various statistical agencies, to gain insights into the current state of housing affordability and quality of life across countries. Metrics such as happiness, life expectancy and average income are clustered into patterns that are curated with qualitative research consisting in the latest literature in economic, political, and social aspects of the world outlook. the analysis revealed that there is a significant relationship between housing affordability and quality of life. It was found that countries with better housing affordability tend to have higher quality of education, healthcare and stability. the disparities were more significant between developed and developing countries, -with some interesting outliers.

this user study addresses the characteristics of breast cancer risk factor analysis quizzes in order to understand the correlation between completion time, question clarity, and user satisfaction. the user study was conducted with 10 participants to understand what users find preferable in their overall experience with cancer risk factor analysis tools. three risk factor analysis tools (one of them created by us) were compared in terms of completion time, completion time per question, questions asked to the coordinator, and preferred tool and/or features preferred. Results showed that shorter completion time is not necessarily preferred by users but understanding and clarity of questions enabled users to complete the questionnaires with less confusion. However, results were inconclusive regarding completion time per question as the tools had similar results and, perhaps surprisingly, the most preferred tool was the one withthe longest average completion time per question.
