this research is ongoing research into the student learning process which aims to develop artificial intelligence-based technology to calculate essay exam scores automatically, based on the textual proximity of students' answers to the answer key. this research uses an approach based on natural language processing (NLP) and text analysis. Feature extraction was carried out using the BERT model and similarity comparison using the Cosine distance method. Model evaluation was carried out using sensitivity and specificity tests. the model evaluation results show a sensitivity of 98.21%, which means this assessment model is able to detect positive cases well.

In recent years, imaging techniques are essential in our lives, such as security cameras and drive recorders. However, the visualization quality of these techniques sometimes is affected by scattering media, such as smoke at a fire or fog during driving. To solve this problem, Peplography has been proposed. Peplography is an optical algorithm that emphasizes the object information presented in the scattering media, even when the density of the scattering media varies within the image. On the other hand, Peplography estimates the scattering media in each local region, and when the region is not defined appropriately, the estimation of the scattering media will not be visualized. therefore, the purpose of this research is to find the optimal processing for each environment by experiment with various situations, such as when the size of the object in the image is small, when the density of the scattering media is heavy, and when the target object is various.

Smart contract is a trusted service provided on the blockchain, while cloud service is a traditional service mode with a large number of resources. the combination of the blockchain and cloud service is of great significance to the trusted expansion of services and the access to services inside and outside the blockchain. In this paper, we study the smart contract extension service in blockchain-cloud collaborative computing. the service module decoupling method of smart contract is proposed, and the parallel execution algorithm of smart contract service is designed, which improves the execution efficiency of smart contract service. Finally, this paper designs a secure data interaction method of smart contract and cloud service, which helps to maintain the data consistency between cloud computing and blockchain. the experimental results show that the proposed method can save at most 42.13% of the running time, and it can promote the data consistency between the cloud service and the blockchain.

Years of research on congestion controls have highlighted how end-to-end and in-network protocols might perform poorly in some contexts. Recent advances in data plane network programmability could also bring advantages in transport protocols, enabling mining and processing in-network congestion signals. However, the new machine learning-based congestion control class has only partially used data from the network, favoring a more sophisticated model design but neglecting possibly precious pieces of data. In this paper, we present HINT, an in-band network telemetry architecture designed to provide insights into network congestion to the end-host TCP algorithm during the learning process. In particular, the key idea is to adapt switches’ behavior via P4 and instruct them to insert simple device information, such as processing delay and queue occupancy, directly into transferred packets. Initial experimental results show that this approach comes with a little network overhead but can improve the visibility and, consequently, the accuracy of TCP decisions of the end-host. At the same time, the programmability of both switches and hosts also enables customization of the default behavior as the user’s needs change.

the Internet of things(IoT)has become an expansion of connected smart devices from small sensors to complex fog and cloud nodes and various network technologies and communication protocols. Devices, including Intelligent Home Health Care, will infiltrate our lives in various application areas. the Internet of things provides what is in the physical world the ability to interact with the Internet. However, due to their vulnerability, these connected devices offer new security challenges that can be overcome by performing strong validation and access control patterns. In this article, we propose to monitor and allow the use of middleware broker platforms, work, and resources effectively and use ECC for asymmetric monitoring. the security analysis demonstrates a robust resistance to common attacks, bolstered by the fact that each device operates within the energy constraints of just 4mJ, as stipulated by the original protocol.

this paper presented geometrical and calculation models of the TO-220, TO-263, SOT-89, and SOT-23-3 packages for SMD transistors. Using the constructed models, the capacitance matrices with and without the solder layer on the transistor electrodes were calculated. Comparison of the calculation results using the method of moments and the finite element method showed that their difference is no more than 14.8%. It is shown that taking into account the solder layer leads to an insignificant (no more than 20%) increase in the self-capacitance of the transistor electrodes. However, the maximum increase of drain-source (base-emitter) capacitance is 106.3% (SOT-89), and the minimum increase is 52.7% (SOT-23-3). the calculation results were used to create improved SPICE models of transistors, taking into account the package, footprint and solder. the models can be used in simulating various radioelectronic equipment, as well as in analyzing components for immunity to electrostatic discharge and electromagnetic interference exposure.

General Primary Frequency control (GPFC) of the power system limits frequency deviations from the nominal value for the safe operation of power plants and minimize the risk of disconnection of electricity consumers by the action of emergency automatics. the requirements for primary frequency control regulate the droop, which should be in the range from 4 to 6 %, and the minimum time for power up / down power by power plants. In this case, the maximum rate of power change and other characteristics of the transients are not limited. At the same time, practice shows that in some cases, emergency disturbances in power systems lead to undamped frequency fluctuations, followed by excessive disconnection of consumers and generation. For example, while adjusting group active power controllers in the energy system of NTEC (Norilsk-Taimyr Energy Company), a stable GPFC only with a droop equal to 25 %, which does not meet the requirements, was achieved. thus, there is a need for a detailed analysis of the processes in the GPFC and the development of new improved methods of control.

Mathematical models that allow calculating the capacitance and inductance of each turn of spiral capacitor electrodes are presented. Comparison of values obtained using the proposed mathematical models and quasi-static calculation by increasing the number of turns of the spiral capacitor. Comparison demonstrated the suitability of the developed models for calculating capacity and inductance with an acceptable error rate not exceeding 0.92%. the capacitance of a real capacitor was calculated with given geometrical and electrical parameters, and an error rate was no more than 3.4%. A circuit model algorithm for spiral capacitors that takes into account the capacitance and inductance of each turn was developed. the transfer coefficients of three circuits were compared when the capacitor was connected in series between the source and the load. Comparison of frequency dependencies showed that the difference in values did not exceed 0.16%. the developed spiral capacitor models allow taking into account the compression or stretching of each turn of the spiral capacitor, caused by the changes in temperature and in the geometric dimensions of the capacitor coating.

Data and knowledge management has taken on a fundamental role in decision-making processes into organizations in recent years. the consumption of information within the organization is present in most of the operational and administrative processes of the organization. therefore, information consumption also takes on importance in the design and application of organizational strategy initiatives. the Information Consumer Experience (ICX) can be considered as a particular case of Customer eXperience (CX), involving expectations, satisfactions and pains of information consumers within the organization. ICX analyzes the interaction between employees or departments and the information provider organization or departments, through their information products, systems and services offered. the main objective of this work is to analyze ICX within an organization by conducting an exploratory analysis in order to make a diagnosis based on three fundamental elements: organizational departments involved, participants (Sample) and information products, systems or services used by information consumers. As results of this analysis, consumers’ needs were identified and consumers profiles were generated, which lead us to elaborate a Customer Journey Map that described the different points of contact and the perceptions of consumers. Finally, the greatest pains of consumers can be identified, related to: (1) high complexity for information searching, (2) better-known information systems preference over the more specialized ones, and (3) the isolated Information distribution across departmental unit hides the overview state of the department. © 2023, the Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.
