the rapid evolution of smart manufacturing and the pivotal role of Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) in enhancing operational efficiency, underscore the necessity for robust anomaly detection mechanisms. this paper presents a comprehensive approach to detecting anomalies based on AGV telemetry data, leveraging the potential of machine learning (ML) algorithms to analyze complex data streams and time series signals. By focusing on the unique challenges posed by real-world AGV environments, we propose a methodology that integrates data collection, preprocessing, and the application of specific AI/ML models to accurately identify deviations from normal operations. Our approach is validated through extensive experiments on datasets featuring anomalies caused by mechanical wear or excessive friction and issues related to tire and wheel damage, employing LSTM and GRU networks, alongside traditional classifiers like K-nearest neighbors and SVM. the results demonstrate the efficacy of our method in forecasting momentary power consumption as an indicator of mechanical anomalies, and in classifying wheel-related issues with high accuracy. this work not only contributes to the enhancement of predictive maintenance strategies but also provides valuable insights for the development of more resilient and efficient AGV systems in smart manufacturing environments.

the integration of the advanced technologies of the current landscape (the Internet of things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), smart devices, and so forth) has converted the security issue into a significant matter, particularly in cases, when the data is transferred through different insecure channels. However, the necessity for robust and innovative security of data through transmission is still a challenge. the sensitivity of the chaotic systems to their initial conditions and control parameters makes them a reasonable choice for such purposes. this application for Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM) is designed to enhance long-distance communication by increasing the transmission capacity. Our design uses four channels each with a bit rate of 10 Gbs. To ensure the security of the data sent through this method, a novel 5D-chaotic system serves as an encryption key for images. this approach enables the safe transmission of images over a 150 km distance at a capacity of 40 Gbps. the simulation results are obtained by hybridizing Matlab and Optisystem software. Accordingly, the study evaluates the encryption's security using measures such as histogram analysis, correlation coefficient analysis, and information entropy. Findings show enhanced security and efficiency across longer distances.

Large scale video streaming over Internet requires a large amount of resources such as server I/O bandwidth and network bandwidth. Periodic broadcast by a central server combined with proxy caching offers a significant reduction of the aggregate network and server I/O bandwidth usage. However, the resources available to a single server are still limited. We propose a system with multiple geographically distributed servers. Multiple servers beside offering increased resources and service availability, allow a further reduction of network bandwidth usage. the challenge is how to use multiple servers efficiently. We first analyze the dependence of the resource requirements on the number and locations of the servers in a proxy-assisted periodic broadcast video delivery system. Based on the character of the dependence, we formulate and solve the problem of video location and delivery in a way that minimizes resource usage.

In this paper we focus on a research of the overlapping community structures. Towards this goal, we propose DOCLPA (Detecting Overlapping Community based Label Propagation Algorithm), a fast label propagation method is designed to detect overlapping community in GraphChi (a parallel sliding windows method) with only network topology. Here the label initialization is designed to reduce labels redundancy by local maximal cliques. We focus in particular on propagation characteristics between nodes, as far as possible, let the label propagation process be similar to the real information dissemination. Crucially, the DOCLPA method can detect high quality communities adaptively and does not require limited parameter. the experimental findings on real-world networks show that DOCLPA is effectiveness and accuracy in comparison with GCE, COPRA and LPA. Furthermore, by adjusting the overlapping coefficient to reveal the behavior characteristics of overlapping nodes, we prove that overlapping communities on the real-world networks are very naturally social phenomenon. In addition, our experiments on social, product, collaboration and communication networks demonstrate that overlapping nodes often represent active users or products who involve multiple different communities.

With the development of social networks, people can easily share their feelings and express their opinions on interesting topics. thus, social media mining is becoming an important research topic. However, huge volume of social Web data in various forms are rapidly generated around the world in a much faster speed than those of any other media. this can lead to the difficulties in social data analysis: noisy data and efficiency. In this paper, we propose a distributed data analytics platform for social media. First, data from various sources are collected and stored in a distributed index for efficient retrieval. then, a distributed analytics framework is built from memory-based cluster computing based on the MapReduce paradigm. Finally, statistical analysis is performed and integrated for presentation. In the experiment, we built the platform by open source projects Hadoop and Spark, and implemented combinations of map and reduce operations. We compared the efficiency and scalability of the platform on various check-in datasets. Further evaluation is needed to verify the performance in different types of operations.

the Internet of things (IoT) is a technological paradigm that aims to connect millions of networked devices to provide more complex functionality. However, the heterogeneity of application/device communication standards precludes support for interoperability, which impacts developer collaboration. there are many works that propose solutions to support syntactic and semantic interoperability in IoT context. this paper aims to propose a service capable of supporting pragmatic IoT interoperability with the goal of enriching developer collaboration. this being possible through the use of inferences and similarity calculations about information provided by the developers.

Deep neural networks and deep learning are becoming important and popular techniques in modern services and applications. the training of these networks is computationally intensive, because of the extreme number of trainable parameters and the large amount of training samples. In this brief overview, current solutions aiming to speed up this training process via parallel and distributed computation are introduced. the necessary components and strategies are described from the low-level communication protocols to the high-level frameworks for the distributed deep learning. the current implementations of the deep learning frameworks with distributed computational capabilities are compared and key parameters are identified to help design effective solutions.

Wireless communication is a revolutionary technology that the world is grappling with right now. Because of the increased use of wireless networks and electrical apparatus, wireless body area networks are becoming more widespread. By placing multiple devices on the human body, WBAN has established a connection between them. the wearable antenna is utilized to improve various WBAN applications. this study shows a low-profile wearable antenna through WBAN for ongoing monitoring of critical human indicators like blood pressure, pulse rate, as well as skin temperature. A small, low-profile, and flexible antenna made of FR-4 material is presented. the antenna works with an operating frequency of 2.45 GHz and has a return loss of less than -10dB. the proposed antenna’s overall dimensions are 40x38mm 2 . the designed antenna’s gain, directivity, VSWR, bandwidth, and SAR are all simulated utilizing CST software. the antenna has a gain of 1.85 dB, a return loss of -20.18dB, a bandwidth of 594 MHz based on $|S_{11}|\leq-10dB$, a directivity of 2.3 dB, and radiation efficiency of 90.2 percent, according to the simulation results. this antenna can become a trustworthy selection for WBAN applications in the ISM band due to its satisfactory performance.

We address the interaction between TCP and RLC (Radio Link Control), the link layer retransmission protocol in W-CDMA, a 3rd generation cellular wireless network technology, in evaluating TCP performance in following points; l) Supress delay-jitter in link layer to avoid excess retransmissions. 2) Clarify the trade-off between jitter-suppression and link utilization to improve TCP throughput. 3) Optimize the link layer and TCP parameters. We show how to find the TCP and link ARQ parameters that yield optimum overall performance; simulations and emulation confirm their effectiveness. the coexistence of ARQ and TCP can lead to inefficient interaction; the delay-jitter on the link layer may trigger spurious TCP retransmission. the solution is to suppress jitter on the link layer. To manage the trade-off between this suppression and link utilization, we optimized with link parameter.

the number of end users using the Internet increases on the inside and outside of offices. End user-initiative development of applications has become important for automation of their own tasks. For a solution based on the philosophy: "All routine work both at office and at home should be carried out by computers", the paper describes a multi-agent framework and an agent communication language (ACL) for the MOON (multi-agent-oriented office network) systems which are distributed systems including window work in B-to-C and B-to-B electronic commerce. the multi-agent framework is a Java application framework and includes a form based ACL (FACL) as a common protocol for passing application forms and the three kinds of agents working at: client terminals, server-at-windows and the MOON servers respectively. FACL has a very simple message structure (who, what, how, which) because FACL was designed based on the simple concept that "one service=one form". FACL is used primarily for window task sending or receiving written forms between a client agent and a domain expert agent. In addition, broker agents and mobile agents of MOON servers participate in these communications for directory, services and form delivery services. FACL brings high interoperability among distributed application systems based on agent technologies, and promotes end users themselves developing their agents by teaching agents what to do.
