This research involves the description of the newly developed acoustic communication system that can improve high data rates in the underwater channel. The problems in the conventional underwater communication techniques are being solved in the proposed system with the help of integrating the latest modulation techniques, effective transducers, and signal processing algorithms. The effectiveness of the system in achieving studies details high data rates and reasonable signal integrity and flexibility to unfavorable underwater environments during simulations and field trials. The simulated studies point to a maximum of 500kbps and practical trials a maximum of 480 kbps plus higher energy efficiency than regular systems. It still suggests that there is a need to continue with the improvements on all these areas of system performance since the system was design for varied depths and water types though there is an indication that the system performance declines in turbulent conditions. They are beneficial to develop and improve the underwater communication techniques meant to have a positive impact on technological applications such as underwater robotics, environmental and oceanographic surveys. Hence, the successful implementation of this system can be regarded as a major breakthrough towards the resolution of the problems that arise with high-speed data transmission in undersea environment. © 2024 IEEE.

In order to promote the development of display technologies such as desktop computers and notebooks, a graphics module based on the E9171 display chip was designed. The hardware design and software adaptation method of the graphics module are introduced, and the performance of the module is tested. The 3DMark11 performance test results show that the performance of the graphics card is about 50% higher than that of the previous generation. The performance-To-power ratio of the graphics card is excellent, which can meet the application of most embedded occasions, and is a very good realization of graphics module. © COPYRIGHT SPIE. The theoretical and practical issues of the development of a control system for the technical vision of robots, which is based on the specifics of the processed information and the principles of building an integral system for understanding the image of the scene in its study, as well as the principles of building an integral system for recognizing the image of the scene, are considered. The issues of visual representation of objects and processes on rectangular, triangular and hexagonal rasters are considered. The results of these studies make it possible to analyze data presented through visual coding, intelligent processing and use for support and decision-making systems in a wide variety of fields of knowledge. The use of the proposed approach to the description of objects provides rapid analysis of raster images, prepares the initial information for more subtle studies, allows to quickly determine the important characteristics of the object in the image. © 2022 IEEE.

Sleep is a state of reduced mental and physical activity, in which consciousness is altered. And all the sensory activity is stopped to certain extent. Maintenance of good sleep is very essential for each individual. Nowadays, diseases related to sleep are very common among the population due to individual living styles and stress related disorder. One such sleep disorder among them is obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), in which an individual experiences difficulty in breathing. Delayed or improper detection of this disorder can cause serious health issues. This work explains the classification of sleep apnea using K-nearest neighbor algorithm using various features. The proposed work is to extract the statistical features such as mean, median, standard deviation and mean square error of ECG signal to detect the abnormal pauses in breathing during sleep apnea period. Classification of sleep stages can be performed using K-nearest neighbor classifier. Bearing performance degradation assessment can effectively reduce the accuracy degradation and failure of robotic arms caused by bearing failures. Existing performance degradation models based on deep learning and machine learning models have not yet considered the enhancement of degradation assessment by fault-related decoupling in the signal. Therefore, this paper proposes a random convolution kernel transform-based bearing performance degradation assessment model, which enriches the characterization of bearing degradation trends by decomposing the VMD signal and extracting multi-dimensional sensitive features from the decomposed IMFs. The multi-scale characterization of bearing degradation is enriched by a large number of stochastic convolution kernel transforms. A ridge regression classifier is applied to balance accuracy and computational complexity to achieve an intelligent assessment of bearing degradation trends, and the effectiveness of the proposed method is verified on the XJTU-SY dataset, where the accuracy of the proposed method exceeds that of existing fault degradation trend assessment models. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Orthogonal Time Frequency Space (OTFS) modulation has emerged as a significant focus of highly dynamic wireless communication, for which the channel estimation is a main challenge. Using the sparsity of Massive Multiple Input Multiple Output (Massive MIMO) OTFS channel in delay-Doppler-angular domain, a compressed sensing based method is proposed in this study, called as adaptive structural orthogonal matching pursuit (ASOMP). The MIMO-OTFS channel estimation problem is modeled as a sparse signal recovery task. By designing an adaptive angular domain supports selection method based on energy levels, the channel estimation accuracy is improved. Furthermore, an modified Gram-Schmidt QR decomposition algorithm is illustrated to reduce computational complexity. Simulation results demonstrate the superior performance of the ASOMP algorithm over the benchmark algorithms. © 2025 Institute of Physics Publishing. All rights reserved.

This paper describes personalised, intelligent methods for designing an automated artificial pancreas (AP) to regulate type 1 diabetes blood sugar. Initial insulin-glucose regulation can be mathematically defined by developing local models through multiple models. A two-objective optimisation problem is needed to achieve a fully automated system's complexity. A two-objective optimisation problem balances the number of local models and system complexity during this stage. Next, a genetic algorithm fine-tunes a group of proportional-integral-derivative (PID) controllers to create the best AP systems. Fuzzy gain scheduling is used to determine each PID controller's control role. This method determines the control action's PID controller proportion. AP systems also have insulin on board (lOB) and pump shut-off safety features to improve performance. The artificial pancreas helps diabetics live daily lives. © 2024 IEEE.

Early screening of the diabetic foot is crucial for diabetic foot prevention and treatment. Since neuropathy and vasculopathy caused by hyperglycemia can lead to abnormal foot temperature, a diabetic foot screening method based on infrared thermography has been recommended. We designed a fully automated method for early screening of the diabetic foot. The automatic segmentation of infrared images of the foot region was achieved by designing an image processing algorithm;the automatic extraction of various temperature features was achieved by combining the angiosome concept. SVM was used to establish a classification model. The study recruited 41 diabetic patients (diabetic group, diabetic foot Wagner grade 0) and 48 healthy individuals (control group) to validate the reliability of the method and showed an accuracy rate of up to 87.5% in the test set. © 2022 SPIE.
