The detector in the pipeline plays an important role in ensuring the transportation safety of the oil pipeline. However, due to the closed and complicated internal environment of the pipeline, it is difficult to accurately control the position of the detection device after it is put into operation. Therefore, it is necessary to use the marking system to determine the precise time when the detection device passes through the marking point and record its operation position and corresponding pipeline section. A method of pipeline positioning system based on vibration signal with short-term energy and zero characteristics is proposed. In this method, two sensors are used to collect the friction vibration signals between the through-the-ball detection equipment and the pipe wall, and the signal noise is reduced by improving the empirical mode decomposition method. According to the vibration waveform and the time delay of two signals, the classification method of vibration signals and the prediction scheme of passing time are designed to realize the passing positioning of detection equipment. © 2024 IEEE.

The split-capacitor midpoint-clamped three-phase four-leg (3P4L) inverter is capable of sustaining stable output with three-phase symmetrical voltages under both balanced/unbalanced and linear/non-linear loads. This topology achieves the clamping of the neutral point of the three-phase load at Vdc/2 by controlling the fourth leg, thus separating the control of the fourth leg from that of the preceding three legs and achieving their decoupling at the topology level. This article treats the preceding three legs and the three-phase load as an equivalent controlled current source and employs state-space averaging to derive the small-signal AC equivalent circuit of the fourth leg. Addressing the coupling relationship within the fourth leg's small signals, an approximate decoupling control strategy is proposed based on the small-signal equivalent model of the fourth leg. By introducing a virtual impedance via an inner loop controller, the coupling strength within the fourth leg is decreased, achieving approximate decoupling of the fourth leg control. Furthermore, this method approximately separates the AC voltage small signals into two independent channels in the dq coordinate system, facilitating the design of closed-loop parameters. Finally, simulation verifies the proposed strategy, demonstrating that under this topology, symmetrical three-phase voltages can be outputted for any load under the control of this decoupling strategy. © 2024 IEEE.

Traffic signal control is crucial for urban intelligent transportation systems and traffic congestion management. However, current research often overlooks the non-stationarity in the temporal dimension and the spatial structural dependencies of urban traffic. This leads to signal timing strategies being influenced by irrelevant factors, such as unpredictable traffic jams caused by sudden accidents. To address these challenges, we propose a novel traffic light control method based on a graph attention network with non-stationary feature learning, termed NSTLight. By employing differential operations, we capture variations, fluctuations, congestion states, and trend changes in traffic flow, effectively revealing the non-stationary characteristics of traffic states. Simultaneously, the graph attention mechanism considers the correlations between intersection phases, enhancing signal coordination between intersections. By optimizing intersection networks globally, our method achieves coordinated traffic light control across different intersections, thereby improving the overall efficiency of the traffic network. Extensive experiments on four real-world datasets and two synthetic datasets demonstrate the effectiveness of our approach, showing a 15.7% reduction in average travel time compared to the state-of-the-art CoLight method. © 2024 Copyright held by the owner/author(s).

This paper discusses a typical thrust fault online identification method for aircraft during flight, based on the aircraft motion information of the control system and the Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) neural network. Aimed at the typical power failure mode of liquid main engine thrust decline, the paper studies the technology of typical power failure identification, and completes the demonstration and verification of key technologies through flight tests using an aircraft. On the basis of limited flight computing power, the paper completes the research on fault identification methods based on neural network methods. By using the inertial guidance information of the flight, it identifies the problem of flight failure caused by non-fatal power failures. It further enhances the autonomous adaptability and intelligent level of the aircraft. © 2024 IEEE.

Lithium batteries have the advantages of safe and reliable power supply, low maintenance costs, small footprint, often used as the preferred solution for power supply in data centers. To solve the problems of non-linear charging and discharging curves in lithium batteries, and uneven charging and discharging caused by multiple lithium batteries in series and parallel, we design an intelligent comprehensive management system for lithium power batteries used for data centers. This system includes a master control module and a slave control module. The latter is mainly responsible for collecting voltage, current, and temperature information of lithium batteries;The main control module will perform fault detection, estimate battery charge state estimation algorithm, display data on LCD screen, and communicate with the upper computer using CAN protocol based on the information collected from the control module, transmitting the battery data situation to the user in real-time. This system uses the Internet of Things communication technology to obtain the battery status information collected on the main control board, realize the information interaction between the computer and the lithium Battery management system, and design and optimize the state of charge estimation algorithm to improve the accuracy of lithium battery data so as to improve the security and stability of the lithium battery management box. Compared with existing technologies, the accuracy of the state of charge (SOC) estimation algorithm has been improved by using an improved ampere hour integration method combined with a neural network. At the same time, the system can transmit data to users in real time, further ensuring the security of the data center. © 2024 IEEE.

The indoor imaging visible light positioning (VLP) technology based on the image sensor (IS) utilizes existing indoor lighting infrastructure to provide high-precision indoor positioning services. However, due to the high complexity of traditional image processing algorithms, existing VLP systems are unable to provide real-time positioning services. In response to the above issue, we propose an image processing mechanism based on the inter-frame color feature matching method, which includes the equidistant sampling processing, low complexity decoding algorithm, and color feature matching-based LED region of interest (ROI) determination method. The results show that the system average positioning delay is 80.2ms, indicating better system real-time performance. © 2024 IEEE.

In this paper, the secrecy rate of reconfigurable intelligent surface (RIS) aided wireless networks with one eavesdropper around is investigated. In the system model, the source broadcasts the signal to the destination via an intermediate node RIS, and the controlling Jammer (CJ) near to the eavesdropper ensures physical layer security. Our major objective is to increase the secrecy rate by distributing power optimally between the source and the jammer. By using the Lagrange's multiplier approach, we devised a power allocation strategy and found the optimum power distribution coefficient for distributing power between the source and the jammer. Our results demonstrate that the secrecy rate of the system model with controlling Jammer is superior to that of the system model with Jammer, the system model without Jammer and that the optimal distribution of power (ODP) has a higher secrecy rate than the equal distribution of power (EDP). © 2023 IEEE.

In this research work, a novel Virtual Instrument (VI) for process control, monitoring, and data acquisition was created using Laboratory Virtual Instrument Engineering Workbench (LabVIEW) software, distinguishing traditional hardware instrumentation from Virtual Instruments. A High-Power Impulse Magnetron Sputtering (HiPIMS) Physical Vapour Deposition (PVD) system has been developed to deposit coatings on a variety of substrates by controlling the process and related subsystems via graphical programming in the LabVIEW environment. It automates the thin film deposition process by sequentially controlling the integrated subsystems. The program also regulates the critical thin film deposition process parameters, including deposition pressure, substrate temperature, substrate rotation, and substrate bias. An upstream pressure control and Proportional Integral Derivative (PID) function to achieve the desired pressure. The results showed accurate pressure control (± 0.0005 mbar) within an operating range of 5×10-3 - 5×10-2 mbar. Furthermore, the deposited thin films demonstrated good repeatability and reliability. The presented results will be valuable in developing indigenous custom-made vacuum or PVD systems. © 2024 IEEE.

Today, relying solely on individual vibration signals as features, intelligent fault diagnosis of gearboxes can no longer satisfy the demands of complex systems. Based on multimodal information fusion methods, it has become the main direction for gearbox fault diagnosis. Thermal images are not only easy to capture during the production process, but also can intuitively reflect the thermal change characteristics generated by various gearbox components during mechanical operation. In order to achieve multi-source information fusion and improve the accuracy of gearbox fault detection, this paper aims to propose a multimodal gearbox fault diagnosis method based on vibration signals and thermal imaging. This method combines two data sources, vibration signals and thermal images, and utilizes the powerful feature extraction ability of convolutional neural networks (CNN) to comprehensively explore the deep features of gearbox fault information, improving the accuracy and reliability of fault diagnosis. Through experimental verification, the method proposed in this paper demonstrates excellent performance in fault diagnosis of helical gearboxes, with higher diagnostic accuracy compared to single vibration signal input and single thermal imaging input methods. © 2024 Copyright held by the owner/author(s).
