We synthetically applied computer vision, genetic algorithm and artificial neural network technology to automatically identify the tomatoes that had physiological diseases. Firstly, the tomatoes' images were captured through a computer vision system. Then to identify cavernous tomatoes, we analyzed the roundness and detected deformed tomatoes by applying the variation of fruit's diameter. Secondly, we used a Genetic Algorithm. (GA) trained artificial neural network. Experiments show that the above methods can accurately identify tomatoes' shapes and meet requests of classification;the accuracy rate for the identification for tomatoes with physiological diseases was up to 100%.

It is also the basis of independent development for 3D CA software without any copyright limit. This paper offered a parameterized kinematics simulation template for 3D mechanism based on the visualization in scientific computing, in which the open graphics library is applied by MFC compiler. This paper illuminates the fundamental principle of the simulation development applying the OpenGL technology. The principle of OpenGL, the procedure structure, the working flow of OpenGL, the concept of program designing and the code implementation based on VC++ is demonstrated and an application approach for mechanism simulation is developed under the MFC environment.

This paper presents a new method that utilizes the technologies of image processing andcomputer vision. Firstly, the projected areas of the pig's image captured directly from top view are computed. Secondly, the heights are obtained from side view. Then the pig's weight is estimated by the projected areas and heights. By comparing with the real weight, the mean relative error is 3.2%. The experiment indicates that this hands-off method has great significance in scientific management of the pig's production which does not require large labor and material resources, and also avoid the loss in production resulted from stress.
