Depth model-based behavior estimation of human skeletal points is widely used in the field of behavior recognition. In order to improve the accuracy of behavior recognition, the complexity and computation of the designed network model are increasing, while the mobile platforms have limited arithmetic power and memory, and thus cannot be deployed. To solve the above problems, the AGCN network, a skeletal point-based behavior recognition model, is clipped to compress the network size so that it can support common mobile platforms;and a multi-feature co-distillation method is proposed to efficiently migrate the performance of the original network to the target network, so that the performance of the clipped lightweight network tends to be close to that of the original network. The model training, testing, visualization, and ablation experiments are completed on the NTU-RGB+D60 data set. The experimental results show that the algorithm after lightweighting (clipping network and multi-feature co-distillation), can significantly reduce the computational amount of behavior recognition. © 2024 Copyright held by the owner/author(s).

Based on the MPXV Clade IIb cases in Taiwan, 175 segments were identified from OPG001 to OPG210. The first focus of this paper is on sequence analysis of the MPXV cases in Taiwan, detailing the procedures, including semi-automated segmentation and dataset creation from a large number of MPXV Clade IIb nucleotide sequences found in the NCBI and GISAID databases. The second feature highlights the pioneering establishment of an MPXV Clade IIb RNA 2nd structure image dataset in Taiwan, as such a dataset does not yet exist globally. The third characteristic involves the use of unsupervised learning methods for the rapid clustering of MPXV Clade IIb RNA 2nd structure images. This approach allows not only for the quick detection and clustering of unknown MPXV Clade IIb cases but also for the rapid identification of new MPXV mutations and structural changes. Compared to traditional sequence analysis, this new hybrid systematic method significantly enhances overall efficiency, improving processing speed by at least 24 hours when handling the alignment of 10 MPXV sequences from Taiwan. Future plans include using this prototype analytical model and method to accelerate the analysis of critical lethal factors in MPXV Clade IIb, such as D14L, ultimately helping biologists reduce the time required for analysis and antiviral drug development. © 2024 Copyright held by the owner/author(s).

programming education for children can be traced back to 1967 and is now widely popular in developed countries, while China's programming education for children is still in the primary stage of development. Analyses of domestic and international literature and case studies show that programming education is strategically important for the country's technological future. Despite the challenges of resource constraints and students' varying programming levels, subject-integrated teaching of programming courses can also be successfully conducted through flexible research design and perseverance. There are shortcomings in existing research, such as the lack of empirical evidence and a sound evaluation system. Future research should strengthen interdisciplinary collaboration and explore teaching models adapted to rural educational environments.

The development status of the hotel industry in a city is also an essential factor influencing local tourism revenue. In the tourism industry, besides dining and attractions, which are hotspots for public opinion, the hotel industry is also a key area. The development status of the hotel industry in a city is also an essential factor influencing local tourism revenue. In this context, it is crucial for hotels to address how to prevent such negative public opinion crises. In this paper, we use hotel review texts as an example to discuss how to use BERTopic and GRU networks to extract topics and analyze sentiment from guest reviews. This analysis helps understand guests’ focus and sentiment trends regarding hotels, enabling better grasp public opinion direction and user needs. Through topic extraction and sentiment analysis, we can extract crucial information from large scale hotel review texts. This enables monitor public opinion to help prevent large scale public opinion crises, allows for targeted improvements in the hotel industry, and supports decision-making for hotels and the tourism industry. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2025.

Python language has a powerful artificial intelligence algorithm library. This study adopts a project driven approach and fully utilizes graphical visualization programming tools such as Raptor and Orange3 to assist teaching. At the same time, with the help of large models to assist programming, the cultivation of mathematical thinking, logical thinking, AI thinking, engineering thinking, and programming training are integrated into Python language course teaching in a step-by-step and progressive manner, forming a robust teaching ecosystem. Under the innovative teaching mode, students have gained sufficient practical training through graphic visualization programming, large model assisted programming, Python program writing and debugging, etc., mastering the Python language and gaining intuitive understanding of engineering project development, and enabling them to have preliminary research and development capabilities for artificial intelligence.

Blockchain technologies are well recognised in the field of digital transformation for their significant role in the management of agriculture supply chains. This study utilises newspaper and magazine articles from the ProQuest database of recent newspapers and the global news stream. These databases are regarded as providing comprehensive news coverage regarding the issue of block technology in the agriculture supply chain. The dataset is focused on the news from 1 January 2005 to 16 October 2021, where 6,894 relevant documents were collected for analysis. The data was then analysed using Latent Dirichlet Allocation topic modelling using Python software. Furthermore, we categorised these topics into 20 distinct themes. Blockchain technology has the potential to make significant contributions towards achieving ecologically sustainable development goals (SDGs) from several perspectives. These include facilitating the establishment of sustainable supply chains, enhancing energy efficiency, and fostering the construction of secure and dependable smart cities. The significance of mass media is reflected, among other things, by the fact that their coverage of specific issues is frequently viewed as a reflection of the issues discussed by society. The paper provides a comprehensive, unbiased trend of blockchain in the agriculture food supply chain management landscape related to the issues and technical, social, and managerial aspects of research that are particularly useful for the community of researchers in the field. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2025.

The new idea development has become more and more broadly in the new generation of information technology education. And the computer related general education courses for non-computer majors in Chinese universities are constantly undergoing deeper teaching research and exploration, which including the courses’ curriculum design, teaching mode, teaching methods, teaching design, teaching system, etc., at the same time, the changes in educational reform policies for computer general education courses in universities are all following. In this study, we introduce the Covering Tour Problem with Arc Upgrade (CTPAU), an extension of the Covering Tour Problem (CTP) that exploits the possibility of enhancing the network by upgrading arcs. The CTP is defined on a graph consisting of three sets of nodes: those requiring coverage, those eligible to provide coverage, and a subset of the latter which must be visited. The objective is to determine the minimum cost tour that complies with both visiting and covering requirements. We introduce a further aspect on the problem given by the possibility of arc upgrades. Such upgrades decrease the length of an arc, usually within specific limits, incurring a cost directly proportional to the degree of reduction. Thus, the CTPAU aims to determine the minimum cost tour that meets the CTP requirements and incorporates the possibility of upgrading arcs, satisfying a budget constraint. To address this problem, we developed a Mixed Integer Linear programming formulation and conducted experiments on benchmark instances from TSPLIB to assess our approach. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2025.

This paper discusses the integration of professional knowledge, traditional Chinese culture, and the integration of IPE in the course of Python programming, in order to enhance our cultural self-confidence, stimulate our academic interest, promote our overall development, and realize the goal of curriculum-based ideological education. We demonstrate the "1+1>2" effect of this integration by planning projects related to traditional culture. This approach enriches higher education and lays a solid foundation for cultivating talents with patriotism, social responsibility and innovative spirit. Chinese cultural elements are effectively integrated into teaching and learning through systematic curriculum design, integration of classroom and extracurricular activities, and well-established assessment mechanisms.
