In this paper we represent a developing work in an advanced algorithm for image encryption. First, we have programmed a flexible encrypting algorithms based on AES, RSA and elliptic-curves methods for text encrypting. Second, we have integrated this algorithms to encrypt compressed images. Finally we have provided a fair comparison between the three most famous encryption algorithms: AES, RSA and elliptic curves. Since the objective here is the efficacy of the algorithms under different settings, the behavior and the performance are taken into consideration in this study comparison of the algorithm when different data loads are used. The presented comparison is based on these parameters: key size, block size and speed. The software application is implemented using C programming.

Monitoring the Land Use/Land Cover (LULC) changes in this present era has become the most demanding task and it is very crucial for planning, proper resource management, regulating the expansion in the fringe areas in the existing cities, etc. Now the collection of reliable data has become easier as the hyperspectral images captured by various remote sensing satellites are readily available in different spatial and spectral resolutions. processing this data according to the Region of Interest (ROI) in order to extract meaningful information is challenging. The most crucial part of this process is to identify various land covers very accurately. Only an automatic classification provides a feasible solution, as the manual process is tedious, expensive, and time-consuming. This paper compares two different image classification algorithms in classifying the covers, which can be utilized for land use and land cover changing pattern analysis in the Varanasi district of India. The experiments were carried out with the two most popular classification algorithms, namely: The Maximum Likelihood classifier and the Minimum Distance classifier. The overall accuracy and kappa co-Efficient values computed are 41.67 and 0.12 for the Minimum Distance Classifier and 82.43 and 0.78 for the Maximum Likelihood Classifier. It has been observed that the Maximum Likelihood Classifier outperforms the Minimum Distance Classifier.

Quantitative analysis and motion estimation of the moving organs, as the heart and lungs, is one of the main objectives pursued in analysis of medical images. In fact, cardiac motion estimation has been widely used with the segmentation to evaluate the cardiac function and a various approaches of motion estimation have been proposed. In this paper, a comparative study of myocardial motion estimation methods, which are applied on ultrasound echographic sequence, is presented.

As textures in motion, dynamic textures (DT) are video sequences that are spatially and temporally repetitive. Since, the segmentation of this type of textures represents many difficulties; this paper proposes a comparative study between neural, fuzzy and statistical methods for DT segmentation. In order to bring the best results for DT classification, the proposed method is based on an extraction of two major areas of sequence into two categories: static zone (SZ) and dynamic zone (DZ). Then, for the same data, we applied our methods to compare between dynamic textures DT and static textures (ST). By extracting the best method and thanks to the Multilayer artificial Neural Network (MNN) segmentation, 82% is achieved as classification accuracy. Finally, the experimental results show that the three used scenes are successfully applied to DT.

It is possible to preserve power quality by classifying and identifying abnormalities. Prior studies focused on enhancing the PQD classification performance in one-dimensional (1D) CNNs. Recently, various image conversion methods have been established to facilitate CNN for PQD classification. PQD is a 1D signal that needs to be converted to a 2D image through data pre-processing since 2D images may include more PQD information than 1D signals. However, the PQD data used for the power quality classifier is synthetic PQD produced using mathematical models with parameter modifications in accordance with IEEE Std. 1159, which places limitations on prior research. This study uses data from the Amrita Honeywell Hackathon 2021 to examine how the response-based 2D deep CNN power quality classifier responds to actual field power quality disruptions. The results of the study show that a 2D deep CNN with regulated 2D grayscale pictures based on a process-regulated 2D image matrix can classify real data power quality disturbances with accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score of 98.80%, 98.99%, and 98.60%, respectively. Additionally, 2D images can potentially contain more PQD data than 1D signals, enhancing identification performance on actual data. © 2022 Institute of Physics Publishing. All rights reserved.

Since the rapid development of deep learning technology, traffic picture recognition technology has been significantly enhanced. In the process of recognizing complex traffic pictures, errors are likely to occur. Our objective is to improve the efficiency of the algorithm and the characteristics of the neural network, as well as to utilize the characteristics of stereo image analysis to conduct in-depth research on road conditions pictures based on multi-scale feature algorithms. The aim of this paper is to investigate in detail the process of image recognition and reconstruction using the multi-scale feature algorithm. Furthermore, we derive its loss function, which significantly improves its running characteristics.

Benchmark datasets and their corresponding evaluation protocols are commonly used by the computer vision community, in a variety of application domains, to assess the performance of existing systems. Even though text detection and recognition in video has seen much progress in recent years, relatively little work has been done to propose standardized annotations and evaluation protocols especially for Arabic Video-OCR systems. In this paper, we present a framework for evaluating text detection in videos. Additionally, dataset, ground-truth annotations and evaluation protocols, are provided for Arabic text detection. Moreover, two published text detection algorithms are tested on a part of the AcTiV database and evaluated using a set of the proposed evaluation protocols.

This paper proposes a new hybrid technique for combined encryption text and image based on hyperchaos system. Since antiquity, man has continued looking for ways to send messages to his correspondents in order to communicate with them safely. It needed, through successive epochs, both physical and intellectual efforts in order to find an effective and appropriate communication technique. On another note, there is a behavior between the rigid regularity and randomness. This behavior is called chaos. In fact, it is a new field of investigation that is opened along with a new understanding of the frequently misunderstood long effects. The chaotic cryptography is thus born by inclusion of chaos in encryption algorithms. This article is in this particular context. Its objective is to create and implement an encryption algorithm based on a hyperchaotic system. This algorithm is composed of four methods: two for encrypting images and two for encrypting texts. The user chose the type of the input of the encryption (image or text) and as well as of the output. This new algorithm is considered a renovation in the science of cryptology, with the hybrid methods. This research opened a new features.
