The Kariba dam spans the border between Zimbabwe and Zambia and has two power stations in the north and south, providing more than 50 percent of electricity to Zambia and Zimbabwe and benefiting about 4.5 million people. But now the Kariba Dam was damaged seriously. Once it collapses, it will directly threaten the lives of more than 3.5 million inhabitants of Zambia, Zimbabwe, Mozambique and Malawi, as well as the supply of electricity throughout the region. At the present stage, there are three solutions to this matter, such as repairing the Kariba Dam, rebuilding the Kariba Dam and dismantling the Kariba Dam to rebuild multi-dam system. In this paper, the three schemes are analyzed by using AHP. We find that the solution of dismantling the Kariba Dam to rebuild multi-dam system is the best solution. In order to make the dam to meet the overall level of the original dam, a large-scale multi-objective decomposition and aggregation model of power generation, flood control, drought resistance and irrigation is established, which is based on the energy conservation and energy conversion law, giving a constructive reference to the level of power generation of small dams. What's more, the multi-dimensional and multi-objective discrete-time differential dynamic programming drought-resistant scheduling model and multidimensional multi-objective discrete-time differential dynamic programming flood control model are introduced to provide the concrete guidance and use for the maximum discharge and minimum emission of dams. We not only establish mathematical model to solve the emergency water flow problems successfully but also use the arch crown beam method for dam stress analysis, in order to ensure the safety of the dam. Finally, a cost-benefit model is introduced to analyze the cost and benefit of dam construction. Combined with the hydrological characteristics, human environment and the requirements of dam construction, the optimal construction scheme is determined.

The convening of "The Belt and Road" summit makes the trade exchange between China and other countries more frequent. The language barrier becomes the greatest obstacle of popularizing China's high and new technology. The maturity of VR technology makes the ability of computer to create a real scene gradually improves, this passage introduces the design and implementation of a case about Chinese vocabulary learning based on mobile VR scene for people along "The Belt and Road" region. Using the related programming interfaces provided by Google VR SDK, this project program on the Unity 3D development platform. With the help of mobile terminals and low-cost VR devices, this project can make the people in "The Belt and Road" region learn high-tech Chinese vocabulary whenever and wherever possible and help them grasp the specific context of the use of specialized Chinese words quickly and efficiently.

The issue of visual debilitation or visual deficiency is confronted around the world. As per insights of the World Health Organization (WHO), worldwide, somewhere around 2.2 billion individuals have a dream weakness or visual deficiency, of whom no less than 1 billion are visually impaired. As far as territorial contrasts, the pervasiveness of vision disability in low-and center pay districts is multiple times higher than in big league salary locales. Blind individuals by and large need to depend on white sticks, guide canines, screen-understanding programming, magnifiers, and glasses to help them for versatility, be that as it may, to help the visually impaired individuals the visual world must be changed into the sound world with the possibility to illuminate them about objects as well as their spatial areas. In this manner, we propose to help the outwardly debilitated by presenting a framework that is generally possible, smaller, and financially savvy. The goal of the project is to develop a model an object recognition model to detect and recognize the object for visually impaired people and it can also be used in other markets. Existing techniques for object detection requires a large training data it takes more time and the process is complicated. In this project we propose computer vision concept to recognize object and convert it into text by using the pre trained dataset and the texts are converted further to speech. The system will also support multiple object detection and building a one line description of the object which can be either describe the position of the object or the color. The proposed system can further be implemented in any portable devices for the visually impaired people to recognize objects.

We consider the task of recovering two real or complex m-vectors from phaseless Fourier measurements of their circular convolution. Our method is a novel convex relaxation that is based on a lifted matrix recovery formulation that allows a nontrivial convex relaxation of the bilinear measurements from convolution. We prove that if the two signals belong to known random subspaces of dimensions k and n, then they can be recovered up to the inherent scaling ambiguity with m ≫ (k + n)log2 m phaseless measurements. Our method provides the first theoretical recovery guarantee for this problem by a computationally efficient algorithm and does not require a solution estimate to be computed for initialization. Our proof is based Rademacher complexity estimates. Additionally, we provide an ADMM implementation of the method and provide numerical experiments that verify the theory.

The proliferation of collaborative platforms like GitHub necessitates robust sentiment analysis tools to interpret developer emotions in commit comments, offering insights into project health and team dynamics. This study advances existing research by evaluating three machine learning algorithms for this task: Passive Aggressive Classifier, C-Support Vector Classifier (C-SVC) with a linear kernel, and Random Forest *** analyzed 10,000 GitHub commit comments from diverse projects spanning multiple programming languages and development periods. Performance was assessed using accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score. C-SVC outperformed other algorithms with 98 percent accuracy, 97 percent precision, 98 percent recall, and an F1-score of 0.975. The Random Forest Classifier achieved 96 percent accuracy, while the Passive Aggressive Classifier reached 94 *** findings demonstrate C-SVC’s effectiveness for sentiment analysis in this context, surpassing previous benchmarks. Integration of this tool into development workflows could enhance team communication, enable early issue detection, and provide quantitative metrics for project emotional health. Future research should examine the generalizability of these results across various project types and explore real-time sentiment analysis in collaborative coding environments.

Computerized games have proved to be a great tool to help students learn independently of their application, either in foreign language teaching or to arouse interest in learning from other disciplines or even to help them learn specific functions in certain professions, due to its popularity and motivational capacity. Nowadays, with Information and Communication Technologies(ICT) available, it is possible to create new teaching methodologies that use Game-Based Learning(GBL) to facilitate learning. This work aims to develop a Serious Game to aid in the acquisition of knowledge about a historical event occurred in the sixteenth century: The Black Death. The game provides teachers and students with a new kind of teaching that can be used in the classroom, motivating and facilitating the acquisition of students' knowledge. The game was developed using the RPG Maker VX Ace tool, that allows create attractive, versatile and accessible RPG games. Other advantage isn't internet connection is required to use the game. To create scripts, RPG Maker uses the Ruby programming language, an open source language that is easy to understand and use, and is focused on productivity. After completing, the game proved to be a good tool to help the teacher, addressing the Black Death theme and the Mongol attack on the city of Caffa. The game gave an insight on the theme, introducing the subject and as waiting, presented the theme form more dynamic, in order to arouse the students' interest.

CubeSats are a small satellite technology that first emerged in the space sector in the early 2000s. Their low-cost, fast-delivery design has made space more accessible, leading to a significant increase in the number of satellites launched per year as well as the number of nations launching satellites. As an example, the Educational Irish Research Satellite, EIRSAT-1, is a CubeSat being developed by a student-led team at University College Dublin, aiming to launch Ireland’s first satellite. Originally viewed as educational tools, the capabilities of CubeSats to satisfy a wide range of aims, from technology demonstration to Earth observation and scientific aims, is growing as these satellite platforms advance. However, following two decades of launches, an issue still facing their success as a disruptive technology is the high failure rate of CubeSats. This is a result of the CubeSat design philosophy where, in lieu of challenging resource demands, higher levels of risk are more acceptable compared to conventional space missions. In an effort to reduce these risks, this work presents an overview and highlights the benefits of a testing technique, known as Mission Testing. Mission Testing differs from other satellite testing in that flight representative conditions are simulated during the test. This aspect of the test mitigates risks not addressed elsewhere, such as risks related to the order and duration of operations, and also offers a number of unique benefits, such as operations training for the Mission Control Team. As part of this work, results of a survey disseminated to CubeSat teams are presented, where the aspects of Mission Testing considered most valuable and lessons learned in light of on-orbit operations are identified. How these results have helped shape the Mission Test plans for the EIRSAT-1 mission are also discussed and overview of the test plans are presented. This paper aims to design a multi-function signal generator in which adjustable square wave interference can be added to output complex signal waveforms. Based on single- chip microcomputer, goals like generating signals and adding interference were realized by programming, which focus on simulating the basic working principle of Direct Digital Frequency Synthesis (DDS) technology. Instead of using DDS ROM waveform inquiry form, an external memory was used to realize the phase-amplitude conversion. With AT89C51 MCU to control, DAC0832 to convert signal, a 4×4 keyboard to set waveform parameters and 12864 LCD to display waveform parameters and operating tips, the system realized such functions as generating sine, square and triangle wave signals, adjusting signal amplitude and frequency, adding square wave interference and so on. Experiment results show that this system can generate not only regular but also complex signal waveforms. The advantages of this method are lower-cost, easy to use and having practical significance.

Though existing search engines have provided efficient tool for network information retrieval, there are still some *** are several improvement ways,such as eliminating unrelated documents or changing their order by deep analyzing for results of single search engine, combining or intersecting the results of multiple search engine to improve the recall or accuracy, which all limited for no local index *** decide to build up a new intelligent network retrieval system with our own local index *** independently will cost much and too difficult to keep the integrity,to take advantages of search engine,we construct it on base of search ***,driven by a big keywords table,fetch URL from special search engine by CGI programming,men get all responding full documents and analyze them deeply to form the features(Second-hand Document,SD) *** this,build up kinds of index base needed by possible retrieval *** the information retrieval service,system will renew the bases to reflect real network information by automatic searching according to the old network structure,which was built by existing URL *** last perfect retrieval system is still not implemented,but the initial performance is satisfying.

Plant species identification achieves much attention recently as it has potential application in the environmental protection and human life. Although deep learning techniques can be directly applied for plant species identification, it still needs to be designed for this specific task to obtain the state-of-art performance. In this paper, a bi-channel deep learning framework is developed for identifying plant species. In the framework, two different sub-networks are fine-tuned over their pretrained models respectively. And then a stacking layer is used to fuse the output of two different sub-networks. We construct a plant dataset of Orchidaceae family for algorithm evaluation. Our experimental results have demonstrated that our bi-channel deep network can achieve very competitive performance on accuracy rates compared to the existing deep learning algorithm.
