This report summarizes the outcome of the 7th Workshop on Aspect-Oriented Modeling (AOM) held in conjunction with the 8th internationalconference on Model Driven engineering Languages and Systems - MODELS 2005 - in Montego Bay, Jamaica, on the 2nd of October 2005. The workshop brought together researchers and practitioners from two communities: aspect-oriented software development (AOSD) and software model engineering. It provided a forum for discussing the state of the art in modeling crosscutting concerns at different stages of the software development process: requirements elicitation and analysis, software architecture, detailed design, and mapping to aspect-oriented programming constructs. This paper gives an overview of the accepted submissions, and summarizes the results of the different discussion groups.

Scrum provides a way to monitor and control different activities of Software Project Management. It involves the usage of human, monetary and temporal assets in project development, increasing the rate of its successful deliveries. The subsequent four steps have been defined to enable the Scrum implementation: substructure planning and installation, team building, motivation and training, Scrum deployment, and scrum control and refinement. The outcomes of these principals will be received from the survey of IT companies of Pakistan and show how they accommodate requirement change request by using Scrum methodology. The most important improvements involve communication, team building, leading, motivation, and rapid development inside IT enterprise. Projects often consist of multiple participants with different values that can reason conflicts in the team causing lower in members' motivation/morale, participation/team-working, productivity, and quality. Command-and-control structures typically are eliminated largely;Project Management have to deal with this effectively.

One of the challenges in teaching a first programming course is that in the same course, the students must learn basic programming techniques and high level abstraction abilities, and the application of those techniques and concepts in problem solving and (engineering) design. To confront this challenge, in previous years, we have included a project-based learning phase at the end of our course to encourage the acquisition of high level design and creativity. To address some of the shortcomings of our previous editions, we have recently included a mastery phase to the course. While project-based learning is suitable for teaching high-level skills that require design and creativity and prepare the students for the study of software engineering, mastery-based learning is suitable for concrete skills such as basic programming tasks. Our particular innovation is to allow students into the project phase only if they have demonstrated a minimum predefined competency level in programming. The combination of the two approaches seems to address most of the requirements of a first programming course. We present our motivation for combining the two pedagogical techniques and our experience with the course.

In this study, a type-2 fuzzy based interval-stochastic risk management programming (TISRM) method is proposed for optimal irrigation water resources allocation associated with multiple uncertainties expressed as interval numbers, probability distributions, and type-2 fuzzy sets. TISRM can also reflect authorities' attitudes towards system risk using a financial risk management measure by controlling the variability of the recourse cost. The developed method is applied to irrigation water resources allocation for the Zhangweinan River Basin in China Solutions of irrigation water allocation under different probability distributions and confidence levels are generated. Results reveal that system benefit and satisfaction degree would decrease with the raised levels;the CVaR values would change with the increment of lambda and beta levels as well as the varied cases;the irrigation targets of all crops in all subareas are reach their lower bounds;the irrigation deficits would be different with risk levels and cases. The results can help the local authority to adjust the current food security policy.
