In this issue, the disturbance observer-based H∞ control is studied for TCP/AQM system with multiple disturbances. The T-S fuzzy system containing two different kinds of disturbances is adopted to describe the TCP/AQM system. The disturbance observer is designed to obtain the estimation of the external disturbances. Then the state feedback controller is constructed using disturbance estimation. By virtue of Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional theory, the exponential stability with H∞ performance is analyzed. The sufficient conditions for the solvable gains of the disturbance observer and controller are obtained by using linear matrix inequalities. Finally, simulation experiments demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed control scheme. © 2024 Copyright held by the owner/author(s).

Smart Doorbell and Locking system is a system of interconnected IoT devices and sensors. This is an IOT device for home or office automation. Traditional doorbells serve the purpose but this smart doorbell can save plenty of time with the help of face recognition module. The purpose of this project is not just limited in saving time but it also offers some safety features. This device is just a step towards smart homes. Although there are plenty of commercial smart doorbells available but they are quite expensive and some of them lacks features that this project offers. The annual Hajj pilgrimage presents a unique logistical challenge for healthcare institutions, with the need to efficiently manage medical supplies for millions of participants. Traditional methods often fall short in transparency, efficiency, and rapid response. This paper proposes a novel Blockchain-Enabled Medical Supply Chain Architecture for Rapid Response in Hajj, a framework specifically tailored to address the special requirements of this large-scale event. Leveraging the decentralized nature of blockchain technology, this solution integrates smart contracts, Internet of Things (IoT) sensors, and mobile applications to automate supply chain operations and enable real-time monitoring. The proposed architecture emphasizes secure data management, transparent tracking, and automation, facilitating quick reactions to medical emergencies. Future work involves the implementation and comprehensive evaluation of this architecture, with a focus on real-world efficiency, responsiveness, and alignment with healthcare regulations. This study explores Blockchain technology in the global financial industry using trends analysis, bibliometric analysis, and a literature appraisal using Elsevier Scopus data from 2016 to 2023. The Blockchain in Finance (BCF) study produced 185 publications: 53.5% papers, 45.4% conference proceedings, and 1.1% reviews. Analysis of the subject area revealed three important computer Science, engineering, and Decision Sciences articles. However, source title analysis showed that ACM international conference Proceeding Series, Sustainability Switzerland, and E3S Web of conferences publish BCF research most often. According to the stakeholders study, Jon M. Truby and Qatar University (Qatar) are the top BCFin researchers and affiliations with 4% and % publications, respectively. China produces the most research on the topic. Due to active support from funding sources like the Chinese National Natural Science Foundation (NNSF), 18 publications have been funded. Co-occurrence of keywords The investigation indicated that BCFin’s top keywords include Blockchain, Finance, and Supply Chain Finance. Three clusters with 4–8 keywords, 132 linkages, and 866 TLS were found via cluster analysis. Keywords classify the clusters as Integrated Business Solutions (Cluster 1), Digital Commerce Infrastructure (Cluster 2), and Decentralized Financial Network (Cluster 3). The findings indicate that BCFin is a dynamic and influential multidisciplinary study field. BCFin has transformed the global financial sector by improving trust, transaction security, and communication. IoT has remarkably changed the internet landscape since its introduction. Today, even an isolated physical device is provided with the internet, which allows it to exchange information with other devices. As much flexibility as these devices offer, they also have numerous security issues, causing threats to its users. Adversaries increasingly exploit the vulnerabilities in Internet of Things devices to execute attacks that can inflict significant harm on individuals, communities, and organizations. Consequently, prioritizing the detection, prevention and mitigation of the attacks is imperative to ensure safety and security. The paper provides an in-depth examination of internet of things (IoT) taxonomy, highlighting the associated challenges and security attacks within the IoT ecosystem, which subsequently gives insights into the vulnerabilities of the IoT ecosystem. Additionally, it includes a comparative analysis of various security attacks along with their impacts.

At present, in the simultaneous localization and map construction (SLAM) algorithm, the more mature technology is the map construction in the static environment. However, there are currently moving objects in most environments, which will affect the accuracy and integrity of slam mapping. In this paper, we propose an improved vision SLAM based on ORB-SLAM2 that adds an independent parallel target detection thread to effectively filter low dynamic objects in the scene. Finally, we conduct an experimental evaluation using the TUM dataset, and the results show that our algorithm has a great improvement over ORB-SLAM2 in positioning accuracy and running time. © 2023 IEEE.

China's current thermal comfort standards for the building environment are formulated according to international standards, which are not suitable for China's national conditions. Therefore, this study adopts comprehensive mathematical modeling and computer simulation technology, and uses a CAD system based on the thermal functional simulation model of the dressed human body to simulate to analyze the thermal performance of the human body under different conditions. This paper discussed: 1) By designing different activities simulation cases, analyze the segmental thermal indicators of clothed human;and 2) discuss the effect of clothing cover ratio to thermal performance of clothed human for each body segment. © 2023 IEEE.
