The analysis of transformations of ideas and management practices in modern conditions of the formation of digital economy models and information support in the agro-industrial complex is carried out. Since the main generator of data affecting the final result of production is external natural conditions, the description of the initial processes is carried out using an agrophysical model of plant growth. One of the most topical issues in aircraft building is checking the engines for bird strike resistance, i.e. their airworthiness following an in-flight bird strike. The most critical aircraft units are the turbojet engines. In this case, the turbofan blading is affected the first thing. Its deformation or failure can result in the failure of the entire engine. Numerical simulation of the process allows for a qualitative and quantitative assessment of the consequences of a bird strike on the blades. This enables to avoid full-scale experiments and design properly the units affected by such action. The paper deals with improving the accuracy of simulation modelling of the behaviour of the material of the fan rotor blades of a turbojet aircraft engine in the event of bird strike by using adapted finite-element computational models. Bird action is argumentatively replaced with a system of equivalent quasistatic loads. The most critical events of blade impact with medium and big-size birds were selected by analysing experimental data. The force impulses were compared to determine the strike locations and the sizes and masses of birds that are most dangerous from the viewpoint of disturbance of strength properties. Variant computational analyses deal with studying construction behaviour under static action of the joint load by centrifugal forces and loads that simulate bird action on the fan blading. The stress-strain state characteristics are used to assess the behaviour of the material and its strength properties. simulation accuracy is confirmed by comparison with the results of bench tests.

An analysis is carried out to predict inter-chamber leakage flows through the two transition active contacts, which separate the high pressure chambers from the adjacent low pressure chambers, in the cycloidal class toothed starring of ORBIT® motors. Among geometrically form closed contacts which separates chambers from each other, few active contacts support high reaction loads during the process of transmitting torque in such unique LSHT hydrostatic units. Contact deformations in those contacts generate gaps in the other contacts for a partial period of time. High inter-chamber leakages occur through such gaps at transition active contacts. In an attempt to visualize the characteristics of such leakages, which contribute towards the poorer leakage characteristics of such machines, detail mapping i.e., magnitudes, rotational position etc., of such gaps of a commercially available unit, are carried out. For estimating gaps FEM technique is used. The FEM results have very good agreement with the results predicted earlier using trial method. Such gaps are difficult to measure as the contact positions are inaccessible to equip any conventional measuring instrument. The characteristics of leakage flows through such gaps are then established by CFD analysis using Fluent® in Ansys environment. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Considering Fuji apple, the relationship between the near infrared spectrum and the soluble solids content (SSC), which is one of the important indexes to measure the internal quality of apple, is studied in this paper. In order to reduce the computational complexity and to improve the accuracy of modeling, this paper adopts the wavelet packet threshold denoising method for spectral spectrum processing, and uses the method of wavelet packet analysis (WPA) to filter the characteristic wavelength of the spectrum. Moreover, a prediction model of SSC is proposed based on BP neural network due to its characteristics of anti-noise, anti-interference, strong nonlinear conversion ability and the good capacity in handling nonlinear measured data with uncertain causality. Finally, the simulation results show that wavelet packet analysis can not only reduce the calculation of modeling variables, but also Improve modeling accuracy of the BP neural network model. Using the NodeIdentifyR algorithm (NIRA) in R programming language, this study aimed to identify potential intervention targets by simulating interventions. It examined how alleviating or aggravating specific symptoms impacts the activation of the overall depressive symptom network in Chinese adolescents. A total of 3347 valid participants aged 10 to 18 years were recruited from China (Mage = 13.79, SD = 2.56;52.94% female). "Feel lonely", "sad mood", and "low spirit" were identified as central symptoms. "Feel happy" emerged as a potential treatment target for alleviating overall depressive symptoms, and "feel lonely" was identified as potential prevention target for addressing depressive symptoms in adolescents. These findings emphasize the significance of computational modeling in enhancing the understanding of psychopathology, offering insights and cost-effective recommendations for future interventions aimed at addressing depressive symptoms in adolescents. © 2024 Copyright held by the owner/author(s). To lighten the aircraft engine and improve its propulsion efficiency, many aero engines adopt the blisk structure comprising both the rotor disk and blades. Since the disk becomes thinner, the stiffness of the structure decreased apparently, which causes the occurrence of large amplitude vibration in the blisk. This passage utilizes the finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulation software to investigate the coupled vibration characteristics between the blades and the disk of the blisk with realistic geometric data, in which the aerodynamic load and centrifugal load are considered. At first, the CFD and finite element models of an aero-turbine compressor blisk are built. Then the pressure load data under some critical rotating speeds from CFD simulation are communicated to FEA software by data interpolating method, and the simulation of modal characteristics of the blisk is conducted in FEA. At last, the natural modal characteristics of the blisk structure are obtained, including the resonance speed Campbell diagram, the natural frequencies and corresponding mode shapes. According to the Campbell diagram, it indicates that the most critical mode is the fourth order mode. It is found that the mode shape of the fourth order in the blisk is the coupling of the disk torsional and blades first bending vibration. It is easy to lead to vibration failure when large amplitude vibration of the fourth mode occurs in the blisk. Also, it could also conclude that the modal characteristics of the coupled vibration in the rotating blisk are very sensitive to the disk stiffness. These results provide basic data for the further research in nonlinear vibration and structure optimization of the blisk, and also a simulating method to investigate coupled vibration between the blades and the disk of the blisk considering both aerodynamic and centrifugal load. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

The paper presents our approach to implementation of similarity measure for big data analysis in a parallel environment. We describe the algorithm for parallelisation of the computations. We provide results from a real MPI application for computations of similarity measures as well as results achieved with our simulation software. The simulation environment allows us to model parallel systems of various sizes with various components such as CPUs, GPUs, network interconnects, and model parallel applications in a meta language. The simulations allow us to determine in details how computations will be performed on a particular hardware. They also allow to predict the shapes of time curves beyond the area where empirical results can be obtained due to limited computational resources such as memory capacity.
