Metamodel based optimization serves as an effective tool for carrying out multi-disciplinary and multi-objective design optimization using complex, "black box" computer modeling, analysis and simulation tools. The response surface based metamodeling method uses simple surrogate polynomial model to approximate the complex objective and constraint functions to reduce computation time, thus making prohibitive global optimization requiring extensive computation feasible. In this paper, another important issue in metamodeling, the uncertainty of the result data from the "black box" functions and their appropriate processing are addressed. The newly introduced fuzzy modeling method inherits the advantages of the well tested response surface method and removes a major fault assumption of the approach on sure result data, thus leading to better accuracy to the identified design optimum. The close form solution of the second order response surface model in fuzzy setting has been derived and demonstrated using a bench mark global design optimization problem

Entropy is defined as a measure of how much information can be retrieved from a message or information sources. In data communications, entropy from information sources is described in the form of bits and closely related to the probability of arriving message to receiver and depends on the period of light spectrum, therefore information source rates affected. The problem faced is how to describe it in visual form. Here the entropy simulation was programmed by using Matlab GUI. The design of entropy simulation program consists of two types. The first type is entropy simulation program of text information as input. The second type is entropy simulation program of voice information as input. The results of both simulation program show that entropy value influenced information source rates. In other words, information source rates will increase with the increasing of entropy value.

In the field of nuclear detection, multi-channel pulse amplitude analysis technology is the basic method of nuclear radiation energy spectrum measurement. According to the requirements of the digital multi-channel pulse amplitude analyzer, the trapezoidal shaping algorithm is demonstrated mathematically and simulated in MATLAB. In addition, a structure of trapezoidal shaping module based on FPGA is proposed in this paper. Fixed-point and floating-point operations are strictly separated in this structure to save hardware resources. The whole module adopts pipeline design to reduce data flow delay and improve system performance. It is simulated in Modelsim. The result reaches expectation.

Identification of closely related, ecologically distinct populations of bacteria would benefit microbiologists working in many fields including systematics, epidemiology, and biotechnology. Several laboratories have recently developed algorithms aimed at demarcating such “ecotypes.” In this paper we examine the ability of four of these algorithms to correctly identify ecotypes from sequence data (along with, in the case of one algorithm, information on the habitats where organisms were isolated). We test the algorithms on synthetic sequences, with known history and habitat associations, generated under the Stable Ecotype model [1], and on data from Bacillus strains isolated from Death Valley where previous work [2] has confirmed the existence of multiple ecotypes. We find that one of the algorithms (Ecotype simulation) performs significantly better than the others (AdaptML, GMYC, BAPS) in both instances. Unfortunately, it is also shown to be the least efficient of the four.

To forecast precisely the time series to the intelligent mechanical ventilation bed online, the improved Empirical Mode Decomposition Algorithm was introduced novel EMD algorithm (NEMD) was gotten in this paper by using piecewise power function to generate envelope curves and extending their end points. The improved EMD was utilized to decompose the de-noised data, Next, the BP Neural Network (NN) and Least Square Support Vector Machines (LSSVM) were used to predict the low frequency items and high frequency items of the decomposed sequence data. The modeling and simulation results indicate that the algorithm that the improved EMD algorithm was introduced in realized online can forecast the time series precisely.

To study the distribution law of the internal flow field and temperature field of permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) for special vehicles, this paper takes a PMSM with a rated power of 300KW as an example, which adopts the cooling structure combined with the spiral channel of the housing and the fan of the rotating shaft. Based on computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and heat transfer theory, a three-dimensional full-domain simulation model of the motor was established. The finite volume method was used for numerical calculation and analysis of the motor's flow field and temperature field, and the fluid flow characteristics of the spiral channel and the air in the motor and the temperature distribution characteristics of each component were analyzed. The wind resistance moment of the rotor surface was calculated based on CFD, and the wind friction loss was obtained according to the relationship between the wind resistance moment and the wind friction loss. Finally, experimental tests were conducted on the prototype, and the experimental results data were compared with CFD simulation calculation results to further calibrate the PMSM flow field and temperature field simulation calculation model, which provides some reference and practical engineering value for wind friction loss calculation, cooling system design and temperature field simulation calculation of PMSM for special vehicles.

In this paper, an ARIMA(p,d,q) power prediction model based on grey system correction is established. To forecast electricity consumption for five periods per month for the six months, from January 2022 to March 2023, the data mean is used to replace the outliers. Then, after the data pass the time series stationarity test, an ARIMA(p,d,q) model is introduced to make seasonal predictions of the data. After the data passed the quasi-exponential law test, the grey system prediction model was established, the results were linearly fitted, and the linear coefficient was used as the trend development factor to evaluate ARIMA(p,d,q). The model is modified to produce the final solution prediction.

With the progress of technology, various computer visualization and simulation technologies have been rapidly developed. Among them, Building Information modeling (BIM) takes all the relevant information data of the construction project as the basis of the model, carries out the establishment of the building model, and simulates the real information that the building has through the digital information simulation. PyroSim is the software developed based on FDS software, which is specially used for the dynamic simulation of fire simulation. Combining the advantages of the two, this paper integrates BIM in PyroSim, realizes the fire simulation based on BIM, gets the fire simulation information, and thus establishing a complete set of fire simulation method for high-rise buildings based on BIM. And the combination of virtual reality technology allows people to experience the fire in person and improve the fire prevention awareness and response ability.

Machine Learning is an emerging technology in artificial intelligence and computer science. Lot of researchers are applying Machine Learning (ML) models for solving various problems. Disease prediction using machine learning is a very hot area of research for many researchers. Diabetes is one of the major medical problems in common people. Because of improper life style and bad eating habits of people, this disease is increasing with a very high speed and affecting a lots of people throughout the world. It is very difficult to predict the chances of diabetes in human being with the help of existing methods and medical tests. Machine learning algorithms can be trained on a data set of the people or patients and then the trained model can be used in early prediction of diabetes in a person based on his or her medical symptoms. This paper applied the power of ML algorithms and implement two most commonly used ML models for diabetes prediction. After the experiment we are able to predict the diabetes by achieving 99% accuracy using random forest machine learning algorithm.
