Experimental and computational results are presented for a generic scramjet nozzle/afterbody model. Mixtures of Argon and Freon were employed as simulant scramjet exhaust gases because they correctly model the inviscid simulation parameters of actual scramjet combustion products, allowing test and analysis at significantly reduced temperatures. Air was also employed as an exhaust gas to provide experimental and computational comparisons with simulant gas effects. Several computational aerodynamic analysis codes, employing different levels of theoretical modeling, were applied to compute solutions about the scramjet geometry. The solutions are compared with measured surface static and flowfield pitot pressure data taken in a Mach 6 freestream. © 1990 American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics Inc, AIAA. This paper focuses on the Trading strategy issues of gold, US dollar and bitcoin in the financial *** are supposed to deal with the C problem of 2022 Mathematical Contest In modeling. To solve this problem, we firstly build a VMD(CEEMD)-LSTM-AdaBoost-SVM model to predict the price of gold and BTC. Based on the forecast data, we build the optimal investment dynamic planning problem by using Floyd algorithm to find the maximum profit route of daily optimal trading strategy from September 11, 2016 to September 11, 2021. Our assets went from an initial $1,000 to $52,048 with an annual profit margin of 219.58%. Then, we performed sensitivity analysis and error analysis of the developed model. Finally, we improved and extended the existing model by building the Measure-VaR multi-stage portfolio model and solve it by using the PSO algorithm, the theoretical results is good. © 2022 The authors and IOS Press.

The Bayesian framework for hierarchical modeling is applied to quantify uncertainties, arising mainly due to manufacturing variability, for a group of identical structural components. Parameterized Gaussian models of uncertainties in structural model parameters are introduced that depend on a set of hyperparameters. Laplace methods of asymptotic approximation and, more accurate, stochastic simulation algorithms are used for estimating posterior joint and marginal distributions of structural model parameters and hyper-parameters. The posterior distribution of the hyperparameters is formulated as the product of as many multi-dimensional integrals as the number of structural components tested, with the dimension in each integral equal to the number of physical uncertain model parameters. Novel analytical approximations of these integrals are proposed that are shown to be computationally efficient, accurate and highly parallelized. A parallelized blocked Gibbs sampler is also proposed to efficiently generate samples simultaneously along the different uncertain parameter subspaces associated with the different number of structural component tested. Theoretical and computational developments are illustrated using simulated data for modal frequencies obtained from a number of identical bar structures. © 2014 American Society of Civil Engineers.

The IEEE 802.16 specification defines WiMAX, a wireless broadband data transmission technology. It enables high-speed data transmission over a wide range and remains inexpensive. This is a point-to-multipoint wireless network technology that can also be used in other network applications such as wireless sensor networks. In this article, we will use MATLAB Simulink to analyze the MAC tier model on WiMAX. This MAC tier model can be used to evaluate WiMAX performance in multiple scenarios such as high data rates, modulation schemes, and channel conditions. The proposed simulation model has reduced simulation time and performance. In this analysis, various modulation techniques such as QPSK and QAM were used on the AWGN channel and the simulation results were compared by SNR and BER. © 2022 IEEE.

In this study, a computational framework for the material point method (MPM) terrain model is developed for off-road mobility simulations to account for large granular terrain deformation in high-fidelity off-road mobility simulations. The Lagrangian finite element (FE) approach is not suited for modeling very large soil deformation due to mesh distortion, which causes element instability. Whereas the discrete element (DE) approach has gained acceptance in modeling complex granular material behavior, the computational cost is, in general, prohibit ively high due to a large number of particles needed to describe not only the grain-scale material behavior, but also the macro-scale large soil deformation. Therefore, this study examines the use of MPM to model large deformable granular terrain in the context of off-road mobility prediction. To this end, MPM terrain models are developed and integrated into the off-road mobility simulation framework, leveraging high-performance computing. Furthermore, a contact modeling procedure for the FE tire and MPM terrain is developed, along with the moving soil patch technique generalized for the MPM terrain with the background grid. The MPM soil model is validated against test data, and its large deformation modeling capabilities are examined with several numerical examples.

Human-object interaction (HOI) detection is the task of predicting the visual relationships between humans and their surroundings in images and videos by locating and inferring the interactions between human-object pairs. The majority of existing models have approached this task by detecting human and object instances and predicting interactions between them using a single model and relying on visual features to differentiate between different actions. In this article, we propose a novel method for solving the HOI detection problem by employing ensemble voting on simple models that use only spatial features to predict human-object pair actions. Additionally, we solve the false-positive pairs generated by mis-grouping and non-interaction objects in the image using a bipartite matching. Our proposed approach outperforms many state-of-the-art models on the V-COCO dataset while requiring less inference time. © 2022 IEEE.
