Traffic may be reduced and transportation efficiency improved by properly controlling traffic flow in urban areas. This research provides a new method for managing lanes in real-time by using IoT connectivity. To optimize traffic flow in response to shifting demand patterns, the suggested system prioritizes making lane design changes in real time depending on the current traffic conditions. Using information collected from Internet of Things (IoT) sensors and linked automobiles, the system may dynamically allot lanes in response to variations in traffic volumes and congestion. It describes developing and deploying a dynamic lane control system based on the Internet of Things, stressing the technology's potential to improve traffic flow in congested metropolitan areas. The simulation results show its efficiency in decreasing traffic and increasing throughput. It demonstrates the potential of intelligent transportation systems for creating smarter and more efficient cities by combining IoT, real-time data processing, and traffic control. © 2024 IEEE.

As one of the potential technologies of 6G, THZ communication has a positive effect on data rate expansion, low latency, high reliability and seamless connection. Firstly, the technical challenges of THZ communication in motion platform are described. Then a THZ self-tracking system is proposed to solve the problem. Finally, the technology is verified in the test *** verification results show that the self-tracking technology can effectively enhance the continuous and stable chain building capability of the THZ communication link on the mobile platform. © 2023 SPIE.

A strategy for correcting PID parameters in real time for fuzzy control is proposed for the problem of the difficulty of correcting traditional PID control parameters. Exploring the effect of three PID control parameters on the control's quality was the initial step. Next, this paper imports the fuzzy control strategy and creates the fuzzy controller. PID parameters are adjusted in real time by fuzzy inference, fuzzy inference, knowledge base, non-fuzzy. Finally, an experimental comparison between traditional and fuzzy PID was made using Matlab simulation experiments. Test results showed that the fuzzy PID algorithm significantly reduces overclock response time compared to traditional PID algorithms, with a 20% response time reduction and a 10% overclock reduction. Fuzzy PID is a more ideal and efficient control method thanks to its excellent performance and adaptability to the control problems of complex systems. © 2024 IEEE.

Autism is a complex neuro - developmental condition characterized by challenges in social interaction and communication. Early diagnosis and intervention are crucial for effective support. This paper presents a novel approach for autism detection leveraging Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) to analyze eye gaze patterns. The proposed method aims to provide an objective and efficient tool for the early screening of Autism. We begin by collecting eye gaze data from a diverse sample of individuals, including both Autism -diagnosed and non Autism individuals. The dataset is preprocessed to extract relevant features from the eye gaze sequences, capturing subtle but significant differences in gaze patterns between the two groups. A CNN architecture is designed and trained on this preprocessed dataset. The network is optimized to automatically learn discriminative features that distinguish between Autism and non Autism gaze patterns. Transfer learning techniques mobilenetv2 are employed to further enhance model performance. The trained CNN demonstrates promising results in accurately classifying individuals into Autism and neurotypical categories. Comprehensive evaluation metrics, including accuracy and loss, attest to the model's effectiveness. © 2024 IEEE.

Timely and accurate detection of plant diseases is critical for sustainable crop production. This paper presents a comparative analysis of convolutional neural network (CNN) models for automated tomato leaf disease detection, including VGG16, VGG19, AlexNet and Google Net. A dataset of tomato leaf images with multiple disease types was utilized to train and test the performance of each CNN architecture. Our results demonstrate that the VGG16 model achieved the highest accuracy of 99.38% in classifying tomato leaf diseases. Compared to AlexNet and VGG19 models which obtained 98.67% and 99.29% accuracy respectively, the superior performance of VGG16 highlights its suitability for deploying robust tomato disease detection systems to enable prompt disease control interventions. Our work provides valuable insights on harnessing deep learning for agricultural disease surveillance, allowing farmers and agronomists to identify crop infections early and implement timely management practices to reduce yield losses. © 2024 IEEE.

IoT is an acronym for the Internet of Things, and it refers to the interconnectivity of everyday objects, including home appliances, wearable devices, vehicles, and industrial equipment, through the Internet. IoT enables devices to exchange data and connect. Autonomic IoT applications, on the other hand, are IoT systems that have self-managing capabilities. These systems can monitor and control themselves, make decisions, and adapt to changing environments without the need for human intervention. Autonomic IoT applications aim to improve the efficiency, reliability, and security of IoT systems. IoT applications offer numerous benefits to users by collecting and analyzing data, which can be used to make informed decisions. However, this collection of personal data raises concerns about privacy and security. There is a trade-off between the usefulness of the data collected and the privacy of individuals involved. To ensure the usefulness of the data while protecting the privacy of individuals, it is essential to implement appropriate data privacy and security measures. In this paper, we propose a framework to implement privacy and data usefulness trade-offs for autonomic IoT applications. By adopting this framework, users can benefit from IoT applications while safeguarding their data. © 2024 IEEE.

The Health and Injury control (HIC) system for miners stands as a crucial requirement due to the high-risk nature of the mining industry. The Smart Safety Helmet has been developed to meet the vital needs through the use of advanced Internet of Things (IoT) technology in mining operations. Continuous monitoring of health parameters, such as heart rate and body temperature, enables the helmet to promptly alert miners regarding any irregularities, thus facilitating improved preventive health measures. This Helmet also includes impact detection sensors that provide immediate alerts, ensuring a quick response in the event of accidents, contributing to injury prevention. Its ergonomic design and focus worker comfort encourage prolonged use without causing discomfort or hesitance in wearing safety equipment. Additionally, essential environmental sensors identify hazardous gases and extreme temperature conditions for enhanced safety protection. © 2024 IEEE.

For the cause of evolution of agriculture to its next generation, the introduction of A.I. and data-driven approach is going to be an important part of the agricultural industry that as per our vision would offer numerous economic, environmental and social benefits. controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA) is providing more benefits since the weather and other environmental conditions is controlled and predictable. In CEA, the benefits include enhanced productivity in yield, reduced environmental footprints and better resource management. Our solution uses the adoption of Generative AI to visually forecast the potential yield of a crop using stable diffusion and conditional prompts additionally implementing several Generative Adversarial Networks (GAN) architectures for data generation, augmentation and super-resolution. Our proposed system also adopts generative AI for real time monitoring of plants. studying their respective conditions and their autonomous cultivation and harvesting patterns. The dataset used contained over 8479 examples for different fruits alongside annotations. This data was used to train the detection models as well categorically feed the GANs for data generation. Data generated by DCGAN has a structural similarity of 0.5-0.7 whereas data generated by pix2pix network returns us a structural similarity of 0.7-0.9. © 2024 IEEE.

With the percentage of single-parent households rising quickly, criminal vulnerability is becoming more of a social issue The main issue is often worry over stranger visiting, especially in the case of single female families. This project focuses on the design strategy for an embedded real-time surveillance system based on a Raspberry Pi for the purpose of detecting intruders. Surveillance technology is reinforced to provide vital security for our daily lives, along with related control and alert functions. Our creative integration of cameras and motion detectors into a web application is the foundation of the suggested security system. Remote sensing cameras and motion detectors are managed and operated by Raspberry Pi. The goal of this research is to create a system that can quickly identify outsiders and respond by taking pictures and sending them to a wireless module that is based on the owner. If owner wish to add the other members to home, then he need to save the person photo in database. © 2024 IEEE.

Automatic path planning is very important for many applications such as robots exploring unknown environments and logistics delivery. In this paper, we propose a discrete multi-population fruit fly optimization algorithm with genetic operators, where a greedy strategy is used to obtain good initial population, 3-opt heuristic search simulating olfactory to make the algorithm achieve higher convergence accuracy, multiple population collaborative strategy simulating vision to avoid the algorithm falling into local optima, and the genetic mechanism of selection-crossover-mutation prompts the population easily getting the optimal solution. The proposed planning algorithm has fewer parameters to be adjusted and has the advantages of high accuracy and fast convergence. The experimental results prove that the proposed planning algorithm performs best compared with other several algorithms. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2024.
