Currently, the beginning of transition to emergency states is not reflected in the readings of measurement equipment of control systems of many essential technical facilities. The signaling of the beginning of the latent period of an emergency state is not implemented either. There are no tools for monitoring malfunctions of the railroad bed, or for controlling the beginning of the emergence of various typical malfunctions in the equipment of urban water supply systems, which are operated in continuous rotary motion under high pressure. control systems of said facilities detect malfunctions only when they already have a clearly pronounced form. Nevertheless, specialists and operating personnel use this information to take action and prevent various accidents. However, in some cases, it is too late and an accident becomes unavoidable. At the same time, the emergence of a malfunction at these facilities is accompanied with the emergence of noise in the vibration signals at the outputs of the vibration sensors in their control systems. This noise contains diagnostic information. In this study, we propose technologies for generating informative attributes that can be used to control the beginning of the latent period of accidents. We also show the possible applications of the proposed technologies in developing intelligent systems for controlling the onset of accidents at facilities under investigation and other strategic construction.

The synthesis of digital twin (DT) technology into smart grid systems has emerged as a promising approach for enhancing operational efficiency, reliability, and resilience in en-ergy management. DTs offer a virtual representation of physical assets and processes, enabling real-time monitoring, predictive analytics, optimization, and control. This survey paper provides an overview of the recent advances in designing DTs to upgrade the smart grid. We mainly focus on aspects of DT concept, DT empowered economic dispatch, DT empowered prediction and diagnosis, and DT empowered frequency and voltage regulations. Finally, we pinpoint potential challenges and conclude this paper. © 2024 IEEE.

Diagnosing plant diseases research tackles the vital challenge of identifying plant diseases in agriculture by focusing on the intricate complexities found in images displaying diverse symptoms, scattered lesions, and complex backgrounds. To aid this endeavor, a substantial dataset of 220,592 images is assembled. The proposed method uses a reweighting strategy that targets both visual regions and loss. Initially, weights for segmented patches are calculated based on their discriminative potential obtained from cluster distributions. These weights are then seamlessly integrated into the training process, assigning them to individual patch-label pairs during weakly-supervised training, aiding in recognizing disease-specific regions. Features extracted from this trained network create a comprehensive feature representation. This integration incorporates the GRU algorithm to encode the sequence of weighted patch features. Thorough evaluations on the newly curated dataset and a public dataset demonstrate the effectiveness and superiority of this methodology. This research significantly advances the field of plant disease recognition in image processing, opening doors for further innovative exploration. © 2024 IEEE.

Patient care has certainly enriched by implementing digitalization in healthcare. This digital transformation has posed obstacles with data security and privacy. By the introduction of e-health, huge volumes of sensitive and classified data is digitally processed and the likelihood of numerous personal health records (PHR) rules infractions or breaches has drastically increased by implementation of digitalization. Even with the advancement in technologies, it will take due time before a system development can effectively address the security issues and give patients, who are the natural guardians of their health data a total control over their personal data. Hence, there is an urgent need for a patient-centric system that maintains data privacy and gives patients a total control over their PHR. To redefine E-Health security, the cutting-edge technologies comprising of Distributed Hash Table (DHT), Blockchain, Self-Sovereign Identity (SSI), and Inter Planetary File solution (IPFS) needs integration. IPFS and DHT enables in improving Data privacy by providing a reliable and effective decentralized and distributed storage solution. Enabling safe access control over this information, a Decentralized Ledger technology (DLT) leverages the transparent and unchangeable characteristics of Blockchain. The idea of SSI, which gives patients control over their digital identities and to manage their E-Health data, is fundamental to this paradigm. This study advocates for the widespread implementation of patient-powered electronic health record management system. Additionally providing encouraging paths to improve data security and privacy in the domain of digital healthcare. © 2024 IEEE.

IoT networks employ the RPL routing protocol as it is lightweight and suitable for lossy networks and establishes a Destination Oriented Directed Acyclic Graph (DODAG). The primary constraints on RPL-based networks are limited power sources, lifespan, and reliability. This article examines different types of attacks that can occur in loT network that uses RPL. The Contiki OS Cooja simulator is utilized to simulate various types of attacks. The evaluation of the attacks is conducted by analyzing their impact on various performance parameters, including Packet Delivery Ratio (PDR), Power Consumption, control Message Overhead, and Network Graph. Upon conducting the analysis, it is determined that these attacks have a detrimental effect on loT networks making it crucial to prioritize the mitigation of vulnerabilities and security risks that are linked to loT devices. © 2024 IEEE.

The subway provides a high-speed, safe and convenient solution to urban traffic problems and becomes the infrastructure of urban development in our country. However, the electronic devices in the subway power supply system produce a large number of harmonics, which will cause resonance and shorten the service life of the equipment, thus affecting the normal operation of the power system. Aiming at the requirement of reactive power compensation in subway, this paper analyzes the characteristics of magnetron reactor and SVG device, introduces neural network algorithm, designs PI controller based on BP neural network, and applies it to SVG control strategy. Through simulation experiment, the rationality of control scheme is verified. It provides a reference for similar subway projects to carry out reactive power compensation. © 2024 IEEE.

In agriculture, proper water management is important for crop growth and resource conservation. This brief describes a smart water system designed to optimize water use by integrating dual-axis solar trackers. The system combines renewable energy sources with smart water management to increase environmental sustainability and agricultural performance. To get stronger every day. This makes the use of solar energy for water supply efficient, continuous and reliable. The saved energy is stored in batteries that provide reliable power for the equipment. Sensors constantly monitor humidity and send the information to the central control center in a timely manner. When soil moisture drops below the threshold, this indicates the need for irrigation, control room pump. This allows remote monitoring and control of water flows via a mobile app or web interface. Farmers have access to real-time information on soil moisture and processes, so timely adjustments and interventions can be made anytime, anywhere. Combining renewable energy with smart water management, the system offers a solution for agricultural water management. This brief demonstrates the potential of integrating solar technology into smart water systems, helping to improve efficiency and increase yields in modern agriculture. ©2024 IEEE.

Many individuals face challenges in effectively managing their household food storage due to limitations in traditional refrigerator technology. These limitations include challenges in monitoring the weights of food, receiving timely reminders for restocking, and incorporating location-based services. Existing solutions lack real-time inventory information, fail to provide timely restocking reminders, and lack integration with location-based services. The proposed Smart Refrigerator solution offers accurate inventory management, remote monitoring and control, location-based notifications, Peltier cooling system, and enhanced user experience through IoT technology and innovative sensor systems. A mobile application complements the system, providing users with remote monitoring, control, and locationbased notifications. Societal benefits include reduced food waste, improved food safety, enhanced user experience, and efficient household inventory management, contributing to sustainability and consumer well-being. The proposed Smart Refrigerator results demonstrated significant improvements in inventory management accuracy and user convenience with DS18B20 temperature sensors, load cells, and gas sensors, reducing food *** remote monitoring, control capabilities, and location-based notifications contributed to increased user satisfaction. © 2024 IEEE.
