In this issue, the disturbance observer-based H∞ control is studied for TCP/AQM system with multiple disturbances. The T-S fuzzy system containing two different kinds of disturbances is adopted to describe the TCP/AQM system. The disturbance observer is designed to obtain the estimation of the external disturbances. Then the state feedback controller is constructed using disturbance estimation. By virtue of Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional theory, the exponential stability with H∞ performance is analyzed. The sufficient conditions for the solvable gains of the disturbance observer and controller are obtained by using linear matrix inequalities. Finally, simulation experiments demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed control scheme. © 2024 Copyright held by the owner/author(s).

Although traditional protection methods can improve the security of the network to a certain extent, its effect is often limited in the face of complex network environment and various attacks. Therefore, it is an important problem to be solved in the field of communication network security to find a more efficient and intelligent communication network link data security protection method. This paper proposes a computer network information security monitoring system combined with knowledge mapping technology, which aims to improve the data security protection effect of computer communication network. this paper designs and implements an information security situation awareness system, which can find and deal with network security threats in time by monitoring and analyzing network data traffic and security event information in real time, and improves the efficiency and level of information security protection. The results show that the information security situational awareness system based on artificial intelligence technology has high detection accuracy and strong real-time response capability, and can effectively deal with various network security threats. It has a good application prospect in data security protection of communication network link. © 2025 SPIE.

The development of main pipeline networks for water transportation involves widespread and heavy usage of modern measurement and computing equipment, and remote control systems. The magnitude of the hydraulic resistance coefficient of pipeline sections has a significant impact on water motion in pipelines. Over an extended period of pipeline operation, the hydraulic resistance coefficients of sections undergo changes, specifically, they increase due to the processes of hydrate formation on the inner surface of pipelines. Therefore, it is of great practical importance to involve mathematical methods for identifying hydraulic resistance coefficients for operational monitoring of the condition of pipeline network sections, which makes it possible to identify suspicious areas where hydrate formation processes have actively begun to occur, which significantly affects the loss of fluid energy, as a result of which it is necessary to artificially increase the energy of liquid at pumping (compressor) stations. We consider an approach to identifying the hydraulic resistance coefficient of a linear segment within a water supply network. The considered identification problem is reduced to a class of finite-dimensional optimization problems, for the solution of which we propose to use effective first-order finite-dimensional numerical optimization methods.

Modern intelligent transportation systems and autonomous driving technologies are quite helpful in light of the population's increasing growth, and they work particularly well when used in conjunction with traffic sign monitoring. By giving drivers accurate and exact traffic signals, such as speed limits, warnings, and directional assistance, this makes transportation much safer. Autonomous vehicles must correctly understand these indicators in order to make wise driving judgments. Accurately identifying and classifying a wide variety of traffic signs in a range of environmental circumstances is a difficulty. A cutting-edge deep learning model created specifically for object recognition tasks is called YOLOv9 (You Only Look Once version 9).In addition to offering respectable speed and accuracy, YOLOv9 expands on the advantages of its predecessors by implementing cutting-edge strategies such as PGI and *** of these improvements, YOLOv9 is especially ideal for real-time applications like recognition of traffic signs, where more accuracy and quick and accurate object identification are essential. With an increased accuracy the results demonstrate the model's stability and dependability and show that it is appropriate for real-world uses in autonomous driving and traffic control. Subsequent investigations will concentrate on improving resilience in various situations, utilizing semi-supervised learning, creating more resource-efficient models, broadening the range of datasets, and combining traffic sign recognition with additional autonomous driving tasks. The development of dependable and effective traffic sign detection systems is furthered by this work. © 2025 IEEE.

The traditional optical fiber communication is limited by economy, flexibility and other factors, and it is difficult to provide flexible and effective support in online monitoring of transmission lines, operation and maintenance of unattended terminal stations, and direct collection of massive distributed power supply information. This article proposes an online video monitoring system design based on the on -site programming door array (FPGA) and Ethernet’s visible optical communication (VLC) technology. The system combines the high -speed processing capacity of FPGA and the high security and anti -interference of VLC. Through the dual transmission mode, it effectively improves the video monitoring capabilities in harsh environments and emergencies. The system design includes light source selection, control design, signal receiving and demodulation, and data transmission mode, which aims to achieve stable and reliable video data transmission. In normal mode, the system conducts data communication through Ethernet;in special mode, if it encounters a high interference environment or network failure, the system automatically switch to the VLC mode and use LED lights and photoelectric detectors for optical signal transmission. In addition, the system also uses advanced modulation technology, light source drive circuits, synchronization and clock management, environmental light interference management and other technologies to ensure the efficiency and reliability of communication. The design can not only improve the response speed and data processing ability of the monitoring system, but also guarantee the stability and reliability of signal transmission under some harsh field conditions, and escort the logistics maintenance personnel to deal with emergencies. © 2024 Copyright held by the owner/author(s).

In the field of semi-supervised medical image segmentation, we often face three main challenges. Firstly, there’s an issue with the empirical distribution not quite matching between labeled and unlabeled images. If we treat these two types of data separately, it can result in substantial loss of knowledge acquired from the labeled data. Secondly, existing methods haven’t fully harnessed the potential of labeled data. Thirdly, when using pseudo-labels for training, low-quality pseudo-labels may contain noise. The noise in the labels can lead the model to learn incorrect information, thereby affecting the model’s generalization ability. Regarding the above issues, we propose a Multi-level Enhanced Copy-Paste with Confidence-Based Semi-Supervised Medical Image Segmentation Method. Firstly, our method encourages the model to learn the average features of the data from both labeled and unlabeled data. Secondly, we propose a Multi-level Enhanced Copy-paste (MECP) method to better utilize both labeled data and unlabeled data. For the augmented data, combining a multi-backpropagation training strategy significantly improves the quality of the pseudo-labels. Thirdly, to handle potentially noisy pseudo-labels, we’ve designed a pseudo-label confidence loss function. Our method significantly enhances segmentation performance by effectively integrating labeled and unlabeled data, improving pseudo-label quality, and reducing noise, making it particularly valuable in scenarios with limited labeled data. © 2024 Copyright held by the owner/author(s).

Cloud computing has completely evolved the way health care data is managed, but it also introduces critical security vulnerabilities that can compromise the privacy of patient information and threaten regulatory compliance. Herein, we present one of the most severe challenges: securing EHRs in a cloud environment with access to data while maintaining HIPAA compliance. We introduce a novel hybrid framework combining homomorphic encryption with blockchain-based access control and dynamic audit logging. The framework was used with a three-phase experimental approach and was deployed over five major healthcare institutions while being analyzed for 2.3 million patient records over 18 months. Results showed a high success rate of 99.97% against denial-of-service attacks while showing reductions in latency time about data retrieval up to 3 4 % compared to traditional methods of encryption. Security-incident-based variation was reduced up to 78%, and 99.99% data integrity was achieved during concurrent access scenarios. Cost analysis shows that overheads in security management amount to a reduction of 4 5 % against conventional systems. Our results show that the proposed framework is far better for healthcare data security, along with improved operational efficiency and regulatory compliance. This work contributes to the literature by providing a scalable and cost-efficient solution addressing the most complex security requirements of modern health care systems in cloud environments. The fact that the framework is implemented successfully in real life seems to reflect its effectiveness for mass-scale implementation in health organizations. © 2025 IEEE.

Modern power systems are highly complex. Power electronic based systems and other static equipment that provide controllability of power flow and voltage are named Alternative Current Transmission System (FACTS) controllers. FACTS is one of the most popular electrical grid technologies, the aim of which is that the electrical network from a passive device for transporting electricity transforms into an instrument that actively participates in controlling the operating regimes of electrical networks. Exists four main types of FACTS controllers are series devices, shunt devices, combined series - shunt devices, combined series - series devices. The optimal allocation of Thyristor controlled Series Compensations (TCSC) and STATCOM can improve the transmission capacity. The controllability also ensures improvement of security of power systems under contingency conditions where power system stability is threatened. Power system voltage stability is one of the main areas of focus when there is a mismatch between generation and demand. A major function of a FACTS controller is power oscillation damping involving flow frequency oscillations that threaten system security under peak power flow conditions. It is proposed to improve the damping of low-frequency oscillations by placing a unified power flow controller in the power system. The effectiveness of the application is demonstrated on a test example of a network with a voltage of 220, 330 and 500 kV.

This paper presents a groundbreaking exploration into quantum computing's capacity to revolutionize computational arithmetic through the development of a 2-bit multiplication quantum circuit. Leveraging the unique properties of quantum mechanics, particularly the phenomena of superposition and entanglement, this study navigates beyond classical computing limits. It intricately designs and implements a quantum circuit capable of multiplying two binary numbers, demonstrating a significant advancement in quantum computational technology. Utilizing qubits, the quantum analogs of bits, the circuit fundamentally redefines the multiplication process, adhering to quantum mechanics principles rather than classical binary operations. Our approach emphasizes the intricate orchestration of quantum gates within the circuit, with a particular focus on controlled NOT (CNOT) and Toffoli gates. These are crucial for the arithmetic logic underpinning our multiplication task, illustrating the nuanced application of quantum theory to practical computation. The circuit showcases a pragmatic application of quantum computing principles, contributing to the burgeoning field of quantum algorithms. It serves as a vital stepping stone toward realizing more complex quantum arithmetic operations and their broader applications. Implemented using IBM's Qiskit, a versatile quantum computing software development framework, the circuit's design and functionality were rigorously tested in simulated environments. The results validate the circuit's efficiency and accuracy, confirming the successful quantum multiplication of 2-bit numbers. This work not only enriches the existing quantum algorithm repository but also sets a precedent for future quantum computing endeavors, particularly in optimizing and scaling quantum arithmetic operations.

We discuss the single-server queuing-inventory system with possible catastrophes in warehouse and negative customers. Consumer customers arrive in the system according to Poisson process and their service times follow exponential distribution. The customers can be queued in an infinite buffer. Upon arrival of catastrophe all inventory of the system is destroyed but consumer customers in the system (on server or in buffer) continue to waiting for replenishment of stocks. One consumer customer is pushed out from the system, if a negative customer arrives to the system. In the system (s, Q) inventory policy is used. When the inventory level drops to s, an order quantity of Q = S - s is placed and upon replenishment the level becomes sum of the current items and order quantity. If upon arrival of the consumer customer, the inventory level is zero, this customer is either lost (lost sale) or joins to the queue (backorder sale). Mathematical model of the system is constructed via two-dimensional Markov chain. Steady-state probabilities are obtained using the matrix-geometric method and ergodicity condition is established in closed-form. Numerical results are presented about the behavior of performance measures and the optimum inventory policy to minimize the expected total cost.
