A software-defined network (SDN) is a cutting-edge technology that manages network infrastructure, automated applications, and packet optimization. In this study, we employed LION and WHALE, which are hybrid optimization strategies to analyze the cloud scenario in an offline mode where computers are successfully installed and programmed to answer user requirements. When measuring performance, reduction of bandwidth, latencies and execution times, and higher throughput were all taken into account. In a cloud context, the completing time of all available resources allotted to virtual machines was calculated using a minimal execution time technique, and packets were optimized using a hybrid optimization method. It was proven that the recommended change increased throughput and reduced latency. © 2022 IEEE.

Mobile operating systems have advanced significantly in recent decades, with Android emerging as a widely used open-source platform. Simultaneously, the Internet of Things (IoT) has transformed computer equipment by enabling seamless data transfer over networks without human involvement. This study makes use of intelligent gloves equipped with various sensors, as well as IoT and Android applications, to improve healthcare. In this work, we introduce a pioneering framework that combines IoT and Android technology to revolutionize remote health monitoring called IoT-enabled Smart Gloves for Remote Health Monitoring using an Android-based solution approach (MediGlove). MediGlove uses intelligent smart gloves with robust sensors to continuously collect crucial health data. The solution works with IoT devices to send data quickly to a cloud-based server. The cloud server provides real-time health metric analysis with great precision by utilizing cutting-edge algorithms and machine learning techniques. A simple Android software acts as a dynamic health dashboard, allowing users to track their health in real-time. The framework generates real-time alerts for problematic health markers, allowing prompt medical action. Extensive testing validates the system's efficacy and dependability in health monitoring and the seamless integration of smart gloves with Android applications. © 2024 IEEE.

computer Numerical Controlled (CNC) plotters have a wide range of applications, including computer-aided drawing, architectural drawing, and printed circuit board printing. These applications can also be extended to serve person with disabilities class by printing signatures and stamps. CNC plotters are developed for diverse uses. However, cost-effectiveness remains a priority. This review examines different CNC plotters designed for various applications, investigating input data types, generating and streaming geometric code (G-code) methods, and communication modes with microcontrollers. Open-source and custom-built software is commonly used for G-code generation, streaming, and parsing. They are fast and contribute to cost reduction. However, a significant drawback is the reliance on a personal computer to run this software. Additionally, the plotting process can become cumbersome and time-consuming when the input data needs frequent modifications. In order to overcome these challenges, implementing a suitable streaming protocol between a transmitting microcontroller setup and a receiving microcontroller that is interfaced with a secure digital (SD) card module could potentially eliminate the need for streaming software. Similarly, generating polar geometric coordinates for simple shapes like circles, straight lines, inclined lines, and arcs based on user-provided parameters can reduce the dependency on G-code generation software. This approach not only saves time but also maintains cost-effectiveness. © 2023 IEEE.

Tandem solar cells combining perovskite and CIGS have rapidly gained prominence as highly efficient photovoltaic devices. Recent advancements in enhancing their efficiency in-volve adjusting the thickness of distinct layers with tunable bandgaps, demonstrating superior performance compared to al-ternative tandem solar cells. The upper cell, employing perovskite material chosen for its excellent light absorption coefficient and optoelectronic properties, collaborates with the bottom CIGS cell, characterized by a tunable bandgap and low thermal requirements, contributing significantly to overall efficiency improvement. Through numerical simulations conducted with wxAMPS software, our proposed model, which incorporates a 3μm thick perovskite absorber layer as the upper cell and a 3.5μm thick CIGS absorber layer as the lower cell, demonstrated outstanding power conversion efficiency of 40.0209%, Voc of 1.8675 V, Jsc of 23.2146 mA/cm2, and FF of 92.3152 © 2024 IEEE.

The purpose of this study is to determine whether the Catboost algorithm is superior to the Extreme Gradient Boosting Classifier (XGBoost) method in terms of its ability to generate predictions about the sorts of clothing based on evaluations from online retailers. This study contains 2 groups: Novel Catboost algorithm and Extreme Gradient Boosting Classifier, where each group is iterated for a sample size of 10 calculated using the ClinCalc software with 0.05 as the alpha value, and a CI of 95%. The e-commerce reviews dataset with a size of 23485 was considered from ***. The novel catboost algorithm accuracy is 92%, which appears to be superior to the XGBoost classifier's accuracy of 89%. It can be concluded that there exists a statistically significant distinction between the CatBoost algorithm and the XGBoost classifier algorithm. The manuscript deals with the features of the development of control programs, working with which is similar to performing laboratory work. The development of such programs is based on computer visualization of graphs. To depict the work of algorithms on graphs, different color schemes and different designations are used to convey the processes of manipulation with graph elements. The developed programs provide interactive work with the material and implement learning by action. The article deals with the algorithms "Search in Breadth" and "Search in Depth", the Ford-Bellman shortest path search algorithm, the Terry algorithm for finding a route between two different vertices. Business Intelligence (BI) tools can provide benefits to various stakeholders in Higher Education Institutions (HEI) and support the academic process. We use BI tools to visualize data produced from learning analytics systems at the University of Petra (UOP). The utilized data come from two different sources: a learning outcomes calculation system and a student registration system. In this work, we visualize the data as dashboards using power BI to help students and advisors to monitor the progress of student attainment of program outcomes over the courses and years of study, thus facilitating the prediction of student performance. We also visualize the attainment of program outcomes in relation to student attributes, which facilitate data- driven decision making. The future work of this work is to collect data for a full cohort, to be used for prediction of student performance. © 2024 IEEE.

Outlier detection is a hot research topic in data science, with the goal of identifying individuals in a dataset that are significantly different from other samples. This technique is widely used in fields such as image anomaly analysis and credit card fraud detection. Currently, there are many outlier detection algorithms available, but many of them struggle with the problem of difficult parameter selection and cannot simultaneously detect global and local outliers. To address this, we propose an outlier detection algorithm based on local density and natural neighbors (ODLDNN), which has the following advantages: (1) it inherits the non-parametric nature of natural neighbors and does not require the manual setting of parameter K;(2) it proposes a new method for calculating local density, which not only does not require parameters, but can also be used to detect both global and local outliers. Numerous experiments have shown that our algorithm can effectively detect both local and global outliers without the need for setting the neighborhood parameter K. © 2023 IEEE.

In today's world, programming has become a very essential skill as it is used everywhere, from creating software's for operating systems to analysis of patients' health care data in biomedical engineering. Programmers usually face a lot of difficulties to understand beginner level coding languages having low-level syntax. The proposed study "Simplifying Code Translation: Custom Syntax Language to C Language Transpiler", targets the specified problem and provides the solution in a form of transpiler that converts the newly developed custom language (made up of high-level syntax) to C language. The developed tool minimizes the overall cost incurred during the code designing process. This transpiler consists of 4 main parts: preprocessor, lexer, parser and emitter. It first starts by creating preprocessor which handles preprocessor directives such as 'define' and 'include'. This preprocessed code is then passed onto lexer which tokenizes the code. The parser is responsible for creating Abstract Syntax Tree (AST) using the tokens provided. The final AST is then transformed to C program by the emitter. Then output C code maintains proper syntactic and semantic structure of the original custom syntax language code. © 2025 IEEE.
