The computervision has become an indispensable part in the fields of biomedical application and laboratory research in which images are processed and analyzed. In this article, we have presented a non-invasive real-time biomedical imageprocessing design. The aim of the current research is to propose a hybrid design by using techniques such as watershed, Eulerian Video Magnification and morphological filters for multiple biomedical applications like detection of brain tumor, lung cancer, gallbladder stone, cataract, and measurement of pulse rate and its implementation using MATLAB. The proposed design can process different category of images and manipulate them to visualize and understand the defects clearly that is not visible to the human eyes.

Threshold Segmentation is a kind of important image segmentation method and one of the important preconditioning steps of image detection and recognition, and it has very broad application during the research scopes of the computervision. According to the internal relation between segment image and original image, a tomato image automatic optimization segmentation method (MI-OPT) which mutual information associate with optimum threshold iteration was presented. Simulation results show that this method has a better image segmentation effect on the tomato images of mature period and little background color difference or different color.

Geometric registration of visual images is a fundamental intermediate processing step in a wide variety of computervision applications that deal with image sequence analysis. 2D motion recovery and mosaicing, 3D scene reconstruction and also motion detection approaches strongly rely on accurate registration results. However, automatically assessing the overall quality of a registration is a challenging task. In particular, optimization criteria used in registration are not necessarily closely linked to the final quality of the result and often show a lack of local sensitivity. In this paper we present a new approach for an objective quality metric in 2D image registration. The proposed method is based on local structure analysis and facilitates voting-techniques for error pooling, leading to an objective measure that correlates well with the visual appearance of registered images. Since observed differences are furthermore classified in more detail according to various underlying error sources, the new measure not only yields a suitable base for objective quality assessment, but also opens perspectives towards an automatic and optimally adjusted correction of errors.

Life is often accompanied by the bad weather. In the rainy days, the quality of images and videos acquired will be greatly degraded, affecting human observation and target detection and recognition in computervision systems. In this paper, a single image rain removal algorithm is proposed based on details preservation and background enhancement. We first decompose the rainy image into low-frequency part and high-frequency part by low pass smoothing filter. Then, edge detection is performed on the low-frequency part to extract a mask, which will be used to capture rain-free image details from the high-frequency part. Next, the rain-free image details are superimposed on the low-frequency part to obtain an image without rains but well preserved details. Finally, the dark channel prior method is utilized to further alleviate the blur due to raining. Experiments on both synthetic and real rainy images demonstrate the effectiveness and efficiency of the proposed method.

In view of the problem of haze weather on the visual effect of video image, which causes the picture distortion, image quality degradation and definition blur of video image, a defogging processing method of haze video image based on optical flow threshold is proposed so as to restore the real and natural color image. Firstly, extract the image of the t frame at time t, track the characteristics of the image at time t + 1 to time t + n, extract the image of the t+n frame, then calculate the optical flow values of the t frame and the t + n frame, make a difference between the obtained optical flow values to obtain the optical flow threshold, compare the obtained optical flow threshold with the given threshold, if the value is greater than or equal to the given threshold, take the optical flow threshold intermediate frame image, and the middle frame and t+n frame images are processed by Retinex algorithm, and this operation is performed iteratively. Finally, the processed single frame video sequence is merged into a whole and output. The experiment shows that the processing speed of the algorithm is 0.07, much lower than other processing methods, which verifies the effectiveness and innovativeness of the proposed algorithm.
