Rapid and accurate determine of blood types is very important during emergency situation before administering a blood transfusion. At present the method based on image recognition technology to quickly determine blood type has been widely used in the automated blood analyzer. In this paper, we propose a fast, accurate and robust blood group judgement method based on the image features of ABO blood group rapid analyzer. Firstly, the image of the disk region is segmented and identified automatically. Then, the median filter is used to suppress the noise to get the best approximation of the original image. Then, the characteristic parameters of ABO blood group are extracted according to the gray level distribution of the image. Finally, combined with the agglutination reaction between antigen and antibody, the final blood group was determined. The experimental results show that this method can quickly and accurately classify the ABO blood group, and basically meet the requirements of the automatic rapid blood group analyzer.

With the speed of computer operation has been significantly improved, some novel computervision technologies emerged based on visible images. Due to higher adaptability of the complex environments under the visible light shine, the automation and efficiency of work has greatly promoted by computervision technology, and it can effectively avoid the error arising from manual operation. In this paper, we mainly summarize the research progress in the image aspects of computervision technology for the existing methods into three groups, namely, (1) image preprocessing;(2) image feature extraction;(3) image classification. A microscope/machine-vision system was developed and used as an on-line sensor for Bacillus thuringiensis and other fermentations. The apparatus included an automated sampler/diluter, a microscope/imaging system, an imageprocessing system, and a controller. The system performed real-time image analysis of cell counts, contaminant and solid substrate detection, quantification of inclusion bodies, and spore and crystal protein counts. In this paper we describe a method for integrating together cryptography and steganography through imageprocessing. In particular, we present a system able to perform steganography and cryptography at the same time using images as cover objects for steganography and as keys for cryptography. We will show such system is an effective steganographic one (making a comparison with the well known F5 algorithm) and is also a theoretically unbreakable cryptographic one (demonstrating its equivalence to the Vernam Cipher).

In the agronomic domain, the simplification of crop counting is a very important and fastidious step for technical institutes such as Arvalis, which has then proposed us to use imageprocessing to detect the number of wheat cars in images acquired directly in a field. Texture image segmentation techniques based on feature extraction by first and higher order statistical methods have been developped for unsupervised pixel classification. The K-Means algorithm is implemented before the choice of a threshold to highlight the ears. Three methods have been tested with very heterogeneous results, except the run length technique for which the results are closed to the visual counting with an average error of 6%. Although the evaluation of the quality of the detection is visually done, automatic evaluation algorithms are currently implementing. Moreover, other statistical methods of higher order must be implemented in the future jointly with methods based on spatio-frequential transforms and specific filtering.
