Scheimpflug principle requires that the image sensor, lens, and object planes intersect at a single line known as "Scheimpflug line." This principle has been employed in several applications to increase the depth of field needed for accurate dimensional measures. In order to provide a metric 3D reconstruction, we need to perform an accurate camera calibration. However, pin-hole model assumptions used by classical camera calibration techniques are not valid anymore for Scheimpflug setup. In this paper, we present a new intrinsic calibration technique using bundle adjustment technique. We elaborate Scheimpflug formation model, and show how we can deal with introduced Scheimpflug distortions, without the need to estimate their angles. The proposed method is based on the use of optical lens distortion models. An experimental comparison of the proposed approach with Scheimpflug model has been made on real industrial data sets under the presence of large distortions. We have shown a slight improvement brought by the proposed method.

In this paper a new approach to face recognition is presented which is based on processing of face images in hexagonal lattice. The importance of the hexagonal representation is that it possesses special computational features that are pertinent to the Human vision process. Few advantages of processingimages on hexagonal lattice are higher degree of circular symmetry, uniform connectivity, greater angular resolution, and a reduced need of storage and computation in imageprocessing operations. Proposed methodology is a hybrid approach to face recognition. DCT is being applied to hexagonally converted images for dimensionality reduction and feature extraction. These features are stored in a database for recognition purpose. Artificial Neural Network (ANN) is being used for recognition. Experiments and testing were conducted over ORL, Yale and FERET databases. The proposed methodology has given better results in recognition over square pixel based approaches.

In this paper, we will propose a method is to establishing 3D images and tracking objects in a plane space. The system in this paper will use automated. At first, grabbing dynamic environment images that from two CCDs, digitalized them by the image-grabber and then using digital imageprocessing techniques to become 3D environment images. Next step is to do objects recognition and locate them respectively. This action can achieve the function of object tracking. At last, the result of both simulations and practical experiments demonstrate the method that proposed in this paper is feasible.
