In this study, we investigated how solvent annealing affected the material properties of perovskite films derived from precursors of dehydrated Pb-acetate. The perovskite active layer was produced by depositing the perovskite solution using a one-step spin-coating method, followed by either 5 minutes of solvent annealing in DMF or IPA vapour or 5 minutes of thermal annealing on a hotplate at a temperature of 90 °C. Thermal annealing (TA), annealing in DMF vapour, and annealing in IPA vapour were used to form the perovskite active layers. The perovskite films made from IPA vapou show the best material properties, and the perovskite films obtained from the thermal annealing process have the poorest material properties. Our research showed that perovskite films produced using solvent engineering methods have better film properties.

Effective dissemination of information to audience in institutions of higher learning is a critical challenge in today's interconnected world. Conveying timely information to every individual can be arduous due to scale. Smart screens offer a dynamic solution by facilitating internet-enabled transmission of announcements to strategically positioned displays. This method ensures swift delivery of vital information to target audiences. The consequences of information gaps can be dire in urgent scenarios where missed information might be adversely affected. Both conventional and social media platforms have limitations in reaching targeted populations when distributing information. This paper aims to explore the potential of enhancing information dissemination through the fusion of smart screen technology and web applications. This strategy mitigates the risk of unintended recipients viewing urgent messages while ensuring that those intended receive it promptly. It employs a technological stack encompassing ***, ***, MongoDB, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to provide both a robust back-end and user-friendly front-end interface. Testing, deployment, and debugging processes ensure functionality, usability, and scalability of the application. The web application test results show an overall performance of 98%. It overcame the limitations of traditional communication methods, by offering a promising avenue for future research and development, hinting at the potential for widespread implementation.

In this study, we investigated how solvent engineering affected the photovoltaic characteristics of perovskite solar cells (PSCs) fabricated using dehydrated lead acetate as the lead source. The photoactive layer was produced by depositing the perovskite solution using a one-step spin-coating method, followed by either 5 minutes of solvent annealing in DMF or IPA vapour or 5 minutes of thermal annealing on a hotplate at a temperature of 90 °C. An inverted planar design was used for the PSC device's construction. Thermal annealing (TA), annealing in DMF vapour, and annealing in IPA vapour were used to form the perovskite active layers. The efficiency of the solar cells produced by solvent annealing in an IPA is 13%, the open circuit voltage (Voc) is 0.977 V, the short circuit photocurrent density (Jsc) is 20.74 mA/cm 2 , and the fill factor is 61.21%. Our research showed that the PSCs produced using solvent engineering methods are have higher PCE, more stable and reproducible.

Services related to information and communication technology (ICT) today require secure personal identity verification methods to guard against unauthorized access. There are several authentication methods, with traditional passwords being the most popular one. Passwords are susceptible to threats like eavesdropping and forgotten passwords, though. One of the finest substitutes for conventional passwords was knowledge-based authentication (KBA), which verifies identification using public records. Static and dynamic KBAs are examples of KBAs that are vulnerable to theft and modification. The goal of the study was to develop and implement an enhanced DKBA (EDKBA) system that uses challenge response questions and answers to authenticate users in real time. Two attack models, naive attack (guessing) and strategic attack (brute force), were used to evaluate the effectiveness of the EDKBA system. The developed EDKBA provided improved security by dynamically generating authentication questions based on real-time information about users' weekly Facebook activities. The EDKBA experiment showed a success rate and True Positive of 72.57% with an acceptable error rate (False Negative) of 27.43%. The study concluded that implementing EDKBA will reduce the rising risks brought on by unauthorized access to data and cybercrime, which would directly improve the overall security of sensitive data and information.

The number of people in Mogadishu who use electricity has significantly increased during the past few years. most of Mogadishu’s energy comes from fossil fuels which is nonrenewable energy sources. The use of solar energy to power our day-to-day life has great untapped potential. According to researchers, The amount of sunlight that reaches the surface of the Earth in an hour and a half is enough to meet the world's yearly energy requirements. The purpose of this study is to design, simulate and evaluate solar photovoltaic system for residential and business in Mogadishu using PVsyst software and the load estimation for the two cases based on the average primary load profile of each category. Case one, for the residential household we designed an off-grid PV system that generates 3163 kwh/year. and its performance is 71.8% which is good, Also, we compared the costs of Off-Grid and the utility grid for 15 years, the result shows that Off-Grid has a cost savings of 5263 dollars. Case two, for the business we designed (JUST) compos 3 a Grid-Connected PV system that generates 104Mw.h/year, and its performance was 79.6% which is good. Also, we compared the costs of Grid-Connected and the Utility Grid for 15years and the result shows that the Grid-Connected has a saving cost of 656593 dollars.
