Recently, development of peer-to-peer(P2P) applications has been giving a paramount attention mostly due to their attractive features such as decentralization and self-organization. Providing the programmer with the "right" platform for developing such applications became a challenge. In this paper we describe the functionality of P2PS, a platform for developing P2P applications in Mozart. The P2PS platform provides the developer with a means for building and working with P2P overlay applications, offering different primitives and services such as group communication, efficient data location, and dealing with highly dynamic networks. P2PS implements Tango, an efficient algorithm for constructing structured P2P systems. It is delivered as a library and already made public, being used as underlying structure for different P2P applications.

The four-tank level control system is a typical control system with nonlinear, coupling and time delays characteristics, and can be used in simulation of multivariate industrial system with nonlinear, time-varying, coupling characteristics, on which the effects of the applications of various control theories on complicated systems can be tested. This paper has analyzed four-tank level control system beginning from mechanism modeling and established nonlinear mathematics model. Through simplifying the nonlinear predictive control algorithm, the mechanism model was proved to be correct in simulation research, the feasibility of the algorithm preliminary was verified, and the basic control requirements were achieved.

In this paper we show the applicability of the Dual Heuristic programming (DHP) method of Approximate Dynamic programming to parameter tuning of a fuzzy control system. DHP and related techniques have been developed in the neurocontrol context but can be equally productive when used with fuzzy controllers or neuro-fuzzy hybrids. We demonstrate this technique on a highly nonlinear2nd order plant proposed by Sanner and Slotine. Throughout our example application, we take advantage of the TS model framework to initialize our tunable parameters with reasonable problem specific values, a practice difficult to perform when applying DHP to neurocontrol.

This paper investigates how to optimize the facility location strategy such as to maximize the intercepted customer flow, while accounting for "flow-by" customers' path choice behaviors and their travel cost limitation. A bi-level programming static model is constructed for this problem. An heuristic based on a greedy search is designed to solve it. Consequently, we proposed a chance constrained bi-level model with stochastic flow and fuzzy trip cost threshold level. For solving this uncertain model more efficiently, we integrate the simplex method, genetic algorithm, stochastic simulation and fuzzy simulation to design a hybrid intelligent algorithm.
