This article presents a complete set of solutions for a class of global optimization problems. These problems are directly related to numericalization of a large class of semilinear nonconvex partial differential equations. in nonconvex mechanics including phase transitions, chaotic dynamics, nonlinear field theory, and superconductivity. The method used is the so-called canonical dual transformation developed recently. It is shown that, by this method, these difficult nonconvex constrained primal problems in R-n can be converted into a one-dimensional canonical dual problem, i.e. the perfect dual formulation with zero duality gap and without any perturbation. This dual criticality condition leads to an algebraic equation which can be solved completely. Therefore. a complete set of solutions to the primal problems is obtained. The extremality of these solutions are controlled by the triality theory discovered recently [D.Y. Gao (2000). Duality Principles in Nonconvex Systems: Theory, Methods andapplications, Vol. xviii, p. 454. Kluwer Academic Publishers. Dordrecht/Boston/London.]. Several examples are illustrated including the nonconvex constrained quadratic programming. Results show that these problems can be solved completely to obtain all KKT points and global minimizers.

Computer programming is still a challenge today due to its complex nature. In mixed ability classes, slow students face difficulties in following the pace of their teachers and, very often they lag behind and fail in acquiring the necessary programming skills. A personalized learning environment was implemented to cater for pedagogical assistance mainly in terms of customized content and relevant feedback for low, average and high level students, in order to enable them progress at their own pace. As methodology, a pre-test on key components of programming was carried out in order to understand the students' difficulties in learning programming. The platform was developed using codeigniter 3 and MySQL database. The interactions were logged and analysed. The exponential moving average was used in the system to enable teachers to monitor all the students progress and thereafter, take remedial actions accordingly. The system has been tested by a team of thirty students, for a duration of nine weeks, from a private upper secondary school. The result shows there has been an improvement in the post test as well as the summative assessment. The platform, along with its pedagogical set up and the supports of the teacher, has positive impacts on all the students progress and perception.

Computer programming has become an essential technical proficiency needed by companies especially within the Information Technology industry. To prepare graduates with the required skills and knowledge, many university courses have integrated modules that teach students such concepts. However, learning programming languages was found to be challenging to students as concepts are abstract, making it difficult for students to understand. In order to address such challenges and to innovate from traditional learning techniques, tangible user interfaces (TUI) could potentially be used to enhance learning experience. However, limited work has been done to investigate the use of TUI for students to learn the programming languages. Due to this limitation, the usability of such systems has not been well studied even though this quality attribute is important to investigate so as to improve adoption of systems by end users. This study delves into the usability of a TUI system for teaching basic java programming concepts. To achieve this purpose, a prototype was developed using Processing and ReacTIVision. The usability of the proposed prototype was evaluated through application of the System Usability Scale. Results revealed that the system is acceptable on the scale used although different limitations were identified.

The purpose of this paper is to simulate flight path of Boeing-747 for longitudinal motion at selected flight conditions using 6 DoF (Degrees of freedom) nonlinear equations with MATLAB and SIMULINK. The equations are solved to compute the flight path within 100 seconds of Boeing 747 at three flight conditions, for cruise flight with different Mach numbers at same altitudes, and then Mach number at high altitude with MATLAB programming (ode45).
