This paper studies the problem of computing an input vector for a given pair of Artificial Neural Network (ANN) and output vector, which is a kind of inverse problem. This problem has potential applications in design of new objects, especially in design of new chemical compounds. This paper focuses on ANNs in which activation functions are represented as continuous piece-wise linear functions, which can exactly represent ReLU functions and well approximate sigmoid functions. It is shown that this inverse problem can be formulated as a Mixed Integer Linear programming Problem (MILP) with O(vertical bar V vertical bar + n(b) variables and constraints, where V is a set of neurons in a given ANN and nb denotes the total number of break points over all activation functions f(nu), nu is an element of V .

The purpose of this study is to streamline the time in the process of archiving and scanning documents at government or private offices and to implement batch programming and blind scanner server applications in the scan process automatically. The research method used in this study is to use descriptive analysis methodology, which has two stages, namely the stage of data collection and software development stage. Based on the results of testing for this study, this research can make it easier for government or private offices to search for archives that have been scanned. This research can speed up the process of scanning document archives in government or private offices and integrating all scanning documents on one server. The lack of this research has not been able to convert letter images to ASCII characters that can be recognized by computers. The impact of this study is to provide benefits to government and private offices to accelerate the process of scanning the archives and integrating all scanning documents on one hardware.

We report the effect of rGO on structural, electrical, spectral andnonlinear optical properties of reduced graphene oxide-polyaniline (rGO-PANI) nanocomposites. The rGO-PANI composites with different concentration of rGO were synthesized through an in situ polymerization method. The structural and optical studies of the composite powders show that the template effect of rGO provides a well ordered structure of PANI with better crystallinity. This may be due to the strong electrostatic, p-p, and hydrogen bond interactions between PANI and rGO materials. The conductivity of the composite material increases with respect to pure PANI up to a particular limit, and then decreases. It is mainly due to the disordered conjugated structure of PANI. The nonlinear optical properties of rGO-PANI composites are evaluated by Z-scan technique using a continuous wave nd: YAG laser at a wavelength of 532 nm. Two photon absorption is the main mechanism behind the self defocusing nature of rGO-PANI composites. The saturable absorption behavior of the material is due to the depletion of valence band and the band filling effect of sp(2) carbon domains. The nonlinear absorption coefficient and refractive index of the samples are also estimated and the results show that rGO-PANI composite material is a promising candidate for the applications in optical switching, optical sensors and in ultrafast photonics. Computer programming is still a challenge today due to its complex nature. In mixed ability classes, slow students face difficulties in following the pace of their teachers and, very often they lag behind and fail in acquiring the necessary programming skills. A personalized learning environment was implemented to cater for pedagogical assistance mainly in terms of customized content and relevant feedback for low, average and high level students, in order to enable them progress at their own pace. As methodology, a pre-test on key components of programming was carried out in order to understand the students' difficulties in learning programming. The platform was developed using codeigniter 3 and MySQL database. The interactions were logged and analysed. The exponential moving average was used in the system to enable teachers to monitor all the students progress and thereafter, take remedial actions accordingly. The system has been tested by a team of thirty students, for a duration of nine weeks, from a private upper secondary school. The result shows there has been an improvement in the post test as well as the summative assessment. The platform, along with its pedagogical set up and the supports of the teacher, has positive impacts on all the students progress and perception.
