The potential benefits of distributed generation (DG) integration into the distribution system (DS) are substantially undermined due to serious issues embarked with its protection during the unusual event of high impedance fault (HIF). Nonlinearly deterministic fault current characteristics with low fault current magnitude, nearly to the full load current, have thrown a challenge, while detecting HIF. This has further been augmented due to dissimilar contributions of fault current by different types of DGs, creating ambiguity for the overcurrent-based protection. In order to address this, in this work, a fast and simple HIF detection algorithm, based on Empirical Mode Decomposition (EMD) in conjugation with Teager-Kaiser Energy Operator (TKEO) is proposed for the looped microgrid system operating in grid-connected as well as in autonomous mode. Principally, it is established based on the extracted energy difference of current signals, which are obtained from successive processing of the retrieved current signals through EMD and TKEO. As this, does not rely on fault current magnitude; therefore, this method has essentially suppressed the difficulties that are associated with dynamic fault current of the microgrid.

It is an era of digitalization that includes all types of digital activities and information. In this digitalization period, if we want to convey signals or data or any digital favors, cloud computing has moved out of and become visible as an unbeatable technology. It forecasts divisional computing assets as alternative configuring regional servers to be head of, a stockpile of data kept for use as needed, and procedural data. The requirement for cloud computing is increasing day by day. cloud computing is not more secure to handle entire data of this world or digital era. There are adequate security issues that come out of this increasing technology that creates a hurdle for improvements. All the information and prime data still convey from one end to another ruin through a global medium called the internet. But the data security is at risk always. For security purposes, we have to keep up the apparatus for preserving data such as privacy or confidentiality, dispensation, accuracy, answerability, and access control. There is one technology that is trending now a day called a blockchain. Blockchain makes cloud computing more secure and more powerful technology. The condition of being free from danger or threat, that state comes from a blockchain in cloud computing. All complications in certainty can solve by blockchain technology. A blockchain can increase reliability and privacy from end to end of undeniable ration disperse registry or logs on cloud confluence. A Blockchain follows the registry rule that once set foot in any data in the structure that cannot ever depict as cut off in a jagged line. All information and proceeding data or deals are corroborated by the system and keep that records or documents protected. Bitcoin is perhaps the most commendable instance of a blockchain. Underwater wireless sensor networks provide a new remote surveillance way to monitor the underwater environment, and have drawn increasing attention in the past few years from both academic and industry. Underwater sensor networks will find applications in oceanographic data collection, ocean sampling, pollution and environmental monitoring, offshore exploration, disaster prevention, assisted navigation, distributed tactical surveillance, mine reconnaissance, and submarine surveillance. Plenty of challenges have to be faced during the research, since the nature of underwater environment variable temporally and spatially In this paper, the efficient deployment of surface area for underwater wireless sensor networks was presented. To familiarize with underwater wireless sensor networks deployment, this paper started by providing background information on the architecture and trajectory of the sinking node. Then, a kind of novel inflatable sensor nodes was proposed to make sure that they can have a given trajectory, according to the analysis sinking process of the sensor nodes which tie to the anchor with winch. For a given target area, the reducing of surface deployment area and numbers of nodes is the most significant advantage. To illustrate the performance, the compare was made from two aspects.

Scientific cloud computing(SCC) applies the advantages of clouds to computational science. We present the SC2IT Scientific cloud computing tools that abstract complex computational workflows and allow state-of-the-art scientific high-performance computing software to be distributed in a user-friendly manner. We present Linux and Java "SC2IT" toolsets to manage virtual cloud clusters and implement scientific workflows. We demonstrate several GUIs that implement the "SC2IT" interface for materials science applications. In particular, the Cluster Manager is a generalpurpose SCC GUI to which new workflows can be added easily.

In this paper, a cloud platform-based power system energy load forecasting method is proposed to improve the efficiency and accuracy of power system energy load forecasting. Firstly, the architecture of distributed power grid data collection system is studied. Secondly, the extreme learning machine is used to predict the daily consumption of a certain area accurately. Experimental results show that the model presented in this paper can solve the problem of power grid energy consumption prediction. The multi-dimensional and multi-level collaborative optimization mechanism is integrated into the cloud platform load forecasting business to realize the correction and collaborative optimization of the original forecast data, thus greatly improving the smart grid load forecasting capability in the cloud environment. The platform architecture thus built will provide broad ideas and powerful technical support for smart grid load forecasting. This paper provides a scientific basis for power management and dispatching departments to make dispatch plan and operation control strategy in time.

The Comparing the supersonic cloud computing model to enhance the networking and security in Traditional Data Centers study aimed to analyse the differences between traditional data centers and cloud computing models. The researchers' findings demonstrate that the supersonic cloud model consists of a number of services and functions that can improve network and security performance across all levels of the data center. Furthermore, the supersonic model offers more options for load balancing through routing protocols and more secure network access. In addition, the supersonic model allows for more flexibility in the resources used, such as virtual servers and storage systems. Lastly, the supersonic model allows for greater scalability through the use of distributed simultaneous networks. These benefits pave the way to the eventual goal of improving existing data center operation and security. The objective of this study was to assess the potential of supersonic cloud computing model (SCC) to improve the networking and security in traditional data centers. The findings indicated that SCC improved the network efficiency by 10.4%, reduced network latency by 11 %, and improved packet delivery rates by 8.6%. The security was also improved, with overall firewall rules increased by 12 %, and 5% fewer security violations. Overall, SCC showed promising performance in improving the networking and security of traditional data centers.

Power output of wind generators is always associated with some uncertainties due to wind speed and other weather parameters alteration, and precise short-term forecasts are essential for their efficient operation. This can efficiently support transmission and distribution system operators and schedulers to improve the power network control and management. In this paper, we propose a double stage hierarchical particle swarm optimization trained artificial neural network (double-stage hybrid PSO-ANN) model for short-term wind power prediction of a microgrid wind farm in Beijing, China. The model has two hierarchical stages. The first PSO-ANN stage employs numerical weather prediction (NWP) meteorological parameters to forecast wind speed at the wind farm exact site and turbine hub height. The second stage models the actual wind speed and power relationships. Then, the predicted next day's wind speed by the first stage is applied to the second stage to forecast next day's wind power. The proposed approach has attained significant prediction accuracy improvements. The performance of the proposed model is compared with other two prediction approaches and showed best accuracy improvement than both methods.

Wind generation power output estimation is always associated with some uncertainties as a result of wind speed and other weather parameters intermittency, and accurate short-term predictions are important for their efficient operation. This can greatly help transmission and distribution system operators and schedulers to improve the power network control and management. In this paper, a double stage hierarchical genetic algorithm based adaptive neuro-fuzzy inference system (double-stage hybrid GA-ANFIS) approach is proposed for short-term wind power forecast of a microgrid wind farm in Beijing, China. The approach has two hierarchical stages. The first GA-ANFIS stage utilizes numerical weather prediction (NWP) meteorological parameters to predict wind speed at the wind farm exact site and turbine hub height. The second stage maps the actual wind speed and power relationships. Then, the forecasted next day's wind speed by the first stage is applied to the second stage to predict next day's wind power. The presented approach has achieved considerable prediction accuracy enhancement. The accuracy of the proposed model is compared with other four forecasting methods and resulted in the best accuracy improvement of all.

Mining drug targets from database is a problem of challenge but significance, which has received much attention from academia and industry. As a main source of drug targets, proteins have abundant sequence properties analyzed by the modern measuring techniques and those properties provide a new perspective for detecting the potential proteins as drug targets. In our research, two typical ensemble models, Bagging and AdaBoost of decision trees, were applied for predicting potential DTPs. To tackle the uncertainty of non-drug targets proteins, random sampling was used to construct the negative dataset. The experiments showed both of two ensemble models were insensitive to the feature selection and ratio of training dataset. The average of recall ratios for proteins as drug targets maintained a high level, over 90% in two models. In one turn of parallel experiments, Bagging and AdaBoost predicted 257 potential drug target proteins in common. All of these have confirmed the availability of sequence information and applicability of data mining techniques. The process of retrieving drug targets would be accelerated with the booming development of new data mining technics.
