The hydrofoil is a structure that makes use of the pressure difference between the upper and lower surfaces to make the payload move fast and float on the water surface. For the stability of the hydrofoil in water, a two-dimensional model of the hydrofoil with A18 and NACA-66 as examples was established, and a rotating dynamic grid was drawn. k-ϵ model and 2-DOF model were used for simulation with fluent. The simulation results show that the two types of hydrofoil will gradually unstable after a period of time, A18 instability is caused by the uneven distribution of high pressure on the lower surface, NACA-66 instability is caused by the moment generated by the high pressure area of the leading edge. © COPYRIGHT SPIE. Driver and passenger safety is a paramount concern now, backed by new safety laws and regulations as introduced by many countries. Although a lot has been achieved while building safety support system in modern vehicles, its merely a reactive approach to handle any unwanted life risk events. This paper proposes a model with basic implementation using Ignite distributed data grid and Kafka event streaming platform which will source data from various data sources for both static and dynamic data and generates alerts and notifications which can be consumed by various consumers like mobile apps to generate push notifications on time to avoid unwanted incidents. Law enforcing agencies can consume real time streaming data to build monitoring system and understand the pattern and behavior to take proactive measures. Rules and data from various Road Transport Offices (RTOs) can also be integrated and alert drivers on road conditions, traffic status, set speed limits, traffic diversions, etc. which at present is not available as an integrated system. It can also source data from various social platforms like Twitter based on various search terms and perform required calculation and analysis on top of streaming data using the capability of distributed data streaming platform. Being cloud native it can run on any cloud platform and provide anytime, anywhere accessibility while achieving scalability and real time performance. © 2022, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

The fast improvement of the Internet has incredibly worked with individuals spreading information worldwide, prompting the Internet turning into a pivotal apparatus in many fields like science, trade, schooling, etc. With the Internet common in such countless parts of day to day existence, network security has become basic and requests consistent consideration. For this situation, an IDS's motivation is to recognize between real organization associations and possibly hurtful ones. The recommended method in this examination centers around an interruption identification and avoidance system that comprises of cloudlet Controller (CC), Trust Authority (TA), and Virtual Machine Manager to recognize questionable practices in a cloud climate. cloud clients are migrated to different regions in the climate, as indicated by our proposed approach. Whenever information bundles from different clients are gathered, network traffic happens. To resolve this issue, we assembled the cloudlet Controller, which gets bundles from different clients through switch. CC gets parcels until they arrive at their edge level;if the cloudlet is over-burden, the bundles are shipped off inactive cloudlets. In this philosophy, network traffic is decreased, and it is significantly helpful in identifying interruptions in a straightforward way. In this review, a cross breed arrangement based interruption location and counteraction framework on the cloud is worked to distinguish gatecrasher exercises in the framework. A cross breed characterization based interruption location framework is created with a few cloudlets, a cloudlet regulator, a confided in power, and a virtual machine supervisor to distinguish interloper assaults in the framework, as well as a deterrent instrument to safeguard bundles from gatecrashers. © 2022 IEEE.

Research project 6G NeXt is considering true 3D holography as a use case, setting requirements on the communication as well as the computing infrastructure. In a future holographic communication service, clients are widely spread in the network and cooperatively interact with each other. Especially for holographic communication high processing power is required as well. This makes a high-speed distributed backbone computing infrastructure, which realizes the concept of split computing, inevitable. Furthermore, tight integration between processing facili-ties and wireless networks is required in order to provide an immersive user experience. This paper illustrates true 3D holographic communication and its requirements. Af- terward, an appropriate solution approach is elaborated. Here, novel technological approaches are discussed based on a proposed overall communication and computing architecture. © 2023 IEEE.

The potential benefits of distributed generation (DG) integration into the distribution system (DS) are substantially undermined due to serious issues embarked with its protection during the unusual event of high impedance fault (HIF). Nonlinearly deterministic fault current characteristics with low fault current magnitude, nearly to the full load current, have thrown a challenge, while detecting HIF. This has further been augmented due to dissimilar contributions of fault current by different types of DGs, creating ambiguity for the overcurrent-based protection. In order to address this, in this work, a fast and simple HIF detection algorithm, based on Empirical Mode Decomposition (EMD) in conjugation with Teager-Kaiser Energy Operator (TKEO) is proposed for the looped microgrid system operating in grid-connected as well as in autonomous mode. Principally, it is established based on the extracted energy difference of current signals, which are obtained from successive processing of the retrieved current signals through EMD and TKEO. As this, does not rely on fault current magnitude;therefore, this method has essentially suppressed the difficulties that are associated with dynamic fault current of the microgrid. © 2022 IEEE.

This paper aims to forecast and visualize the confirmed cases, deaths, and recoveries of COVID-19 in India and also predict the end of the growth of COVID-19 cases in India. The methods used for the prediction of future COVID19 cases are machine learning techniques, improved logistic growth equation with a dynamic rate of infection, and automation of the calculations using Python programming language. The paper discusses the current models being used to predict the flattening of the curve, and the pros and cons of using these techniques. The paper then presents the solution and results achieved using our method. The average accuracy percentage of predictions of total confirmed cases was 85.6%, deaths were 84.5%, and recoveries were 83.8%. According to the predictions, the curve started to flatten in October and the curve will completely flatten in the 2nd week of January which confirms the situation that prevailed in India. © 2022 IEEE.

In the big data environment, the data storage and analysis of the power supply service grid cloud telephone system face challenges of huge data volume and high processing speed requirements. In order to effectively address this issue, this study adopted cloud storage technology and big data analysis framework, combined with real-time data processing and batch data processing strategies, optimized the data storage structure, and achieved efficient querying and analysis of data. This study first adopts a distributed storage architecture and optimized data storage through the Hadoop distributed File System (HDFS). Next, the article uses Apache Spark to achieve fast processing and analysis of data, improving the parallelism and efficiency of data processing. Finally, the article introduces Kafka to achieve real-time streaming processing of data, ensuring that data can be quickly analyzed and responded to while receiving real-time updates. The experimental results show that through the integration of this series of technologies, the storage speed of the system can reach up to 682 KB/s, and the data processing speed can also reach 800.0 KB/s, with an average error of only 1.2%. In the above data conclusions, combining distributed storage and real-time data processing technology can not only effectively solve the data storage and processing problems of power supply service grid cloud telephone systems in big data environments, but also improve the overall performance of the system.

Growing electricity demands combined with drastic environmental changes have led to the penetration of renewable distributed generations (DGs) close to the load via the adoption of microgrids. However, the intermittent nature of solar based DGs complicates the protection of hybrid microgrid system. Integrating the microgrid system with battery energy storage system (BESS) ensures the reliability of power supply during dual operating modes. The role of BESS during the maximum and minimum demand scenarios has been discussed for grid-connected mode. Further, a reliable fault detection classification scheme using Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) and Linear Discriminant Analysis (LDA) approach has been proposed for hybrid microgrid network integrated with BESS. The proposed scheme has been validated for fault and no-fault cases and found effective for varying fault locations, fault inception angles, and fault resistances in both the microgrid operating modes. © 2022 IEEE.
