The manufacturing system of the next generation demands intelligence, flexibility and the ability to have the quality of being interoperable. The heart of Industry 4.0 - based system is an environment called Smart Factory which fosters automation and self-optimization. It brings in new elements that changes the traditional manufacturing by integrating the current requirements. The notion of Smart Manufacturing can be aided by employing cloud computing. cloud computing based manufacturing blends the hardware and software assets altogether forming a new paradigm. In this paper, cloud manufacturing has been implemented by making use of function blocks (FB) in Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) based operations. Three deployment models of cloud-based distributed Process Planning (DPP) service are investigated and one of them has been employed to achieve the concept of smart factory. The proposed framework is applicable in PLC-based unit of food industry. © 2021 IEEE.

With the advancement of dual-carbon goals, the construction of distributed energy is gradually accelerating. The traditional centralized information scheduling method deploys message processing work in the cloud, resulting in slow message processing speed and data transmission delay. At the same time, blockchain has irreplaceable advantages in value representation, data sharing and secure transmission. Edge computing improves data processing efficiency and reduces delay. Therefore, this paper proposes a distributed energy computing task allocation scheme based on blockchain and edge computing to ensure data security under the premise of improving data processing speed. The communication delay of the computing mode in this paper is about 12.3‥ less than that of the cloud computing mode, and the energy consumption is about 30.6‥ less.

We can store data, manage it and process it on remote internet servers rather than on local computers or machines. Now coming to IoT, it can be any device equipment, or object which connects us with the cloud using the internet or with another device that is connected. With the increase in number of IoT devices day by day, a large amount of unstructured, structured and semi-structured data is being generated, collectively termed as big data. The amount of data stored and processed in the cloud is increasing at a rapid pace. The traditional storage devices cannot meet the requirement of the cloud at both hardware and software levels. There is a need for a mechanism which can handle this issue. Hadoop is a platform which can overcome this big data issue. Hadoop uses HDFS and Map Reduce to process large quantity of data in the cloud system. It is also essential to ensure big data security generated by IoT devices and only the authorized users can access the data. Therefore, this research aims to secure big data using RSA. MapReduce is used to process and encrypt big data as it helps in parallel processing of the data in few seconds. This research paper presents a comparative study focused on the encryption time performance in Hadoop, specifically examining the impact of increasing mappers on the overall encryption process.

Nowadays, data transfer has been vast online and on social media. Hence data security in the various cloud environments has been enabled to send and receive data. While transferring the data, some issues in the cloud environment are the lack of connectivity, control, and the insecurity of the password and the data. To handle this problem, data security and the internet connection have to be enabled for the cloud environments. The method of homomorphic encryption and the transport layer security protocol have been enabled for the analysis. The homomorphic encryption method converts the data to the ciphertext for making the text in the original format. Then the transport layer security protocol is used to authenticate the data, and the data integrity of the communication can be executed. The proposed system performs better than current protocols like Dynamic Level Based Integrity Checking Protocol, TLS protocol, and Lightweight Cryptosystem, making it a potential option for jobs involving safe and effective cloud information processing. Overall, the proposed Two-tier Homomorphic Encryption system exhibits improved execution time, security strength, resource utilization, communication overhead, and user satisfaction. It addresses issues such as connectivity gaps, control deficiencies, and password and data insecurity, making it an effective method for boosting cloud security in quantum cloud computing environments.

Due to the rapid growth of the Industrial IoT (IIoT), social media and digitization, and wireless communication technology in various sectors, data volume is increasing rapidly. cloud computing is an emerging solution with fog computing assistance for handling and processing a huge volume of data. It is a soar of means to improve the quality of services provided to users through cloud computing, which has been more overwhelmed by the massive data flow. Transmitting all the data to the cloud and getting it back from the cloud causes high latency and requires high network bandwidth. In the IIoT applications, there is enough energy needed in the fog layer, a promising area to be handled by the cloud service providers. An important factor that contributes to the energy consumption in fog servers is VM allocation. This paper proposes EVMAS, i.e., an energy-aware VM allocation scheme based on Lagrange's undetermined multiplier with the Hessian matrix, which improves the Quality of Service (QoS) in parallel with service level agreement (SLA). The suggested technique outperforms in comparison to the other state of the algorithm. © 2021 IEEE.

Vehicle trajectory data is critical in the field of transportation. Its privacy needs to be protected, but not much attention has been paid to this. Federated learning (FL) has emerged as a useful technique to deal with privacy concerns in a distributed learning manner. Regarding large-scale vehicle trajectory data mining in the intelligent transportation systems (ITS) field, spatio-temporal characteristics are helpful to achieving better model performances;but there is a conflict concerning data sharing between privacy protection and the exploration of the spatio-temporal relationship. To better understand this problem, this paper designs a trajectory spatio-temporal prediction method based on FL named STFL. Different FL clients are trained together without sharing raw data while leveraging the spatio-temporal characteristics. In the overall solution, this paper proposes and integrates two different FL methods, i.e., space trajectory FL (s-FedWvg) and time trajectory FL (t-FedWvg) to form STFL. Several physical characteristics are extracted before training, and the weighted average algorithm is used to enhance the training process. Validation and analysis are conducted with the GAIA Open Dataset, demonstrating promising results using FL on vehicle trajectory data mining. © 2022 IEEE.

The existing distributed storage method of college students' digital files has the problem of imperfect storage medium structure, which leads to the execution time of the method being too long. A distributed storage method of college students' digital files based on cloud computing is designed. College students with the information dependencies, chain of digital archive information resources characteristics, through the storage management equipment or software access control data, adjust the structure of a storage medium, quantify the cluster of storage medium load, using cloud computing resource integration model was constructed, after the catalog file directory information uploaded to the central archives, optimization of distributed storage mode. Experimental results: The average execution time of the distributed storage method of college student digital files in this paper and the other two distributed storage methods of college student digital files are respectively 1979 ms, 2561ms, 2624 ms, proving that the distributed storage method of college student digital files integrated with cloud computing has higher application value. © 2021 IEEE

In addition to the physical security of energy networks, cyber security is essential to protecting these systems as well. Cyber threats can stem from malicious hackers who have infiltrated the networks to gain unauthorized access to sensitive data, or from vulnerabilities within the systems themselves. It is increasingly important that smart grid companies invest in cyber security solutions, such as strong passwords, two-factor authentication, encryption, and regular software updates, to counteract these threats. Additionally, it is beneficial for organizations to create incident response plans that are tailored to their specific needs, and which define the chain of command and actions to take in the case of an incident. To details the usage of smart grids in various domains and places in an effective way and explains the efficient way of consuming power for smart ventilators by monitoring and providing cyber security against cyber-attacks. The distributed power from various regions is collected from the less predominant places and supplied to the smart ventilators through smart inverters.
